Mohit Suri's much-anticipated film Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is all set to hit theatres this week. The buzz around the film is strong, and advance booking numbers reflect high audience interest. The recently released trailer teases an emotional, heart-wrenching love story. With an overwhelming early response and impressive ticket sales, Saiyaara is poised for a strong opening and a potentially successful theatrical run.
According to Sacnilk, Mohit Suri's romantic musical Saiyaara has sold 97,541 tickets across major national cinema chains for its opening day. The film has already earned ₹2.59 crore through advance bookings, signalling a promising start. However, Saiyaara is expected to face tough competition at the box office from Anupam Kher's Tanvi The Great, which also releases this week.
This highly anticipated romance drama marks the first collaboration between Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri. Speaking about the film and casting debutantes during the trailer launch, Mohit Suri said, 'I wouldn't have made Saiyaara if I hadn't found formidable actors like Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. I was honestly thinking about making something else before my path crossed with Yash Raj Films, which was looking for a young love story and was grooming Ahaan and Aneet to star in such a film."
The trailer of Saiyaara transports viewers into a world of love, passion, and inevitable heartbreak. It follows the emotional journey of Ahaan Panday, portraying a bold newcomer chasing his dream as a vocalist, and Aneet Padda, who plays a gentle, gifted composer. The 2-minute 44-second glimpse has left audiences eager for more. Not just the emotional storyline, the film's music album is also going viral, adding to the growing buzz around this romantic musical.
Saiyaara's soundtrack is already making waves, with chart-topping hits like the soulful title track by Faheem-Arslan, Barbaad by Jubin Nautiyal, Tum Ho Toh by Vishal Mishra, Humsafar by Sachet-Parampara, and Dhun by Arijit Singh and Mithoon. Slated for a theatrical release on July 18, the film promises an emotionally rich narrative exploring love, identity, and heartbreak. As the countdown begins, all eyes are on newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who are set to make their big-screen debut under the YRF banner.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Pallav Paliwal (@pallav_paliwal) 'I see a lot of myself in Tarak. We have had very similar journeys for 25 years now, and I think Tarak sees a little bit of himself in me also. It is true when they say that he is a one-take final-take star. On set, Tarak, I have not just observed you, but I have learnt from you. I have learnt how to go into a shot 100% — not 99.99%, not 99.999, but 100%. Which is why when he comes out of a shot, there is no judgement on me. He will not even check the shot because he knows he has given everything to it. And I will apply that in my future films. Tarak, thank you for teaching me that," he said. About War 2 War 2's plot sets up an intense face-off between Hrithik Roshan's character, Major Kabir Dhaliwal, and Jr NTR's Vikram. Both are Indian spies but operate on vastly different interpretations of patriotism, leading to a clash that promises to be both physical and ideological. Kiara Advani steps in as Kavya Luthra, a character expected to play a pivotal role in the unfolding drama. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 serves as the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, which starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor. The first film was a runaway hit, praised for its slick action and stylish storytelling. This sequel is also a part of the growing YRF Spy Universe, which connects characters and narratives from films like Pathaan and Tiger Zinda Hai. view comments First Published: August 10, 2025, 21:33 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
