"Supernatural" stars Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins Reunite with Jensen Ackles on "The Boys" Final Season
Details on their roles are being kept under wraps.
'The Boys' creator Eric Kripke has long expressed a desire to cast Padalecki on the satirical superhero drama, said last year, 'I feel like I have to complete my game of 'Supernatural' Pokémon and I have my one big one — very big one — left to catch.' He later told Variety he was talking to Padalecki about a role on the final season, saying, 'I love him and you try to work with people that you love.'
In addition to Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy, 'The Boys' has also featured 'Supernatural' actors Jim Beaver (playing Robert Singer), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (playing Joe Kessler), and Rob Benedict (playing Splinter).
Padalecki starred alongside Ackles on the CW sci-fi drama for 15 seasons, from its debut on what was then the WB in 2005 through its series finale in 2020. Collins also starred on 'Supernatural' for 12 seasons, playing Castiel and eight other roles.
'The Boys' is currently in production on its fifth and final season. It stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Nathan Mitchell, Chace Crawford, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Giancarlo Esposito.
The college-set spinoff 'Gen V' debuted in 2023 and was renewed for a second season. There was also an adult animated spinoff titled 'The Boys Presents: Diabolical' and the upcoming show 'Vought Rising' starring Padalecki.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 2" Unveils Trailer
Yara Sameh The official trailer for 'Five Nights at Freddy's 2' has been unveiled, teasing the continuation of Freddy Fazbear's chilling reign. The sequel from Universal and Blumhouse has a new tagline: 'Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.' Emma Tammi returns as director. Josh Hutcherson, star of the first film, also returns for the sequel, which includes cast members Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail and Piper Rubio. It went on to become Blumhouse's highest-grossing movie ever. Hutcherson told Variety last year that the huge success was unexpected. 'We hoped it would connect with audiences,' Hutcherson said. 'But I don't think that anybody, even on our side of things, expected it to really connect the way that it did.' Hutcherson also hinted to Esquire the follow-up would be 'scarier.' 'There's more animatronics being brought in, different animatronics being brought in, and the world just opens up in a big way,' he said to the publication. Murtada Elfadl reviewed the first film for Variety, writing that 'Hollywood has not been successful at turning video games into movies — a disappointing streak that 'Five Nights at Freddy's' fails to correct.' Elfadl added that 'there's not enough of the animatronic creatures. Despite their distinctive look, they are not used effectively for horror or hilarity, missing the mark on both counts.' "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" Release Delayed by 3 Weeks
Yara Sameh Spider-Man fans will have to wait just a little bit longer for 'Beyond the Spider-Verse.' The third installment in Sony's popular web-slinging animated trilogy has shifted its release date back by three weeks, from June 4, 2027 to June 25, 2027. Studio insiders tell Variety the move was made to capitalize on school-aged moviegoers — 100% of schools in the U.S. will be on summer break by the new date, as opposed to only 65% on June 4. 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse' is the conclusion to a trilogy that began with 2018's 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' and continued with 2023's 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.' Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson serve as directors for 'Beyond the Spider-Verse.' The screenplay is scripted by 'Spider-Verse' creators Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, alongside David Callaham. Lord and Miller will also produce with Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Jinko Gotoh. Aditya Sood and Christina Steinberg are executive producing while Jessica Berri will serve as co-producer. At CinemaCon in March, Lord told the audience that the threequel would begin with protagonist Miles Morales as a fugitive on the run from every other spider in the multiverse, and hinted that 'Gwen and his other friends may or may not be enough to help him save the family that's been the leading part of the entire system.' 'Into the Spider-Verse' took home the Oscar for best animated feature at the 91st Academy Awards, and 'Across the Spider-Verse' landed a nod in the same category. The first entry grossed $384 million globally in addition, while the sequel raked in a mighty $690 million.
