Ahaan Panday's Bihari Cuss-Laced Clip From Acting Workshop Goes Viral; Fans Are Surprised
Ahaan Panday may be basking in the glory of his blockbuster debut Saiyaara, but fans are now discovering a lesser-known chapter from his acting journey. A throwback video of the actor—long before the red carpets and box office records—is going viral on Reddit, showcasing a younger Ahaan, just 18 years old, channeling raw passion during an acting workshop.
In the resurfaced clip, Ahaan is seen in character as 'Tiwari', complete with a rustic Eastern UP/Bihari accent. The video begins with him getting into makeup, followed by his animated delivery of lines like, 'Arey tumko kaahe bataye bhaiya?" while interacting with another actor dressed as a cop. When asked 'Tera haal kaisa hai re?", Ahaan playfully replies, 'Nikle the hum halwa khaane," in full local swagger. Another segment shows him sitting in a car, responding to 'Ae Tiwari!" with cheeky cuss words while mimicking the mannerisms of a pan-chewing small-town goon. The clip, raw and unfiltered, offers a rare glimpse into Ahaan's early experimentation with character work.
This resurfaced moment contrasts beautifully with his current standing as Bollywood's breakout star. Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara has become a box office juggernaut, earning over ₹278.5 crore net in India within just two weeks of its release. The film's global gross has now crossed the ₹400 crore mark, making it the highest-grossing Hindi romantic film of all time, surpassing Kabir Singh's lifetime earnings. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Saiyaara earned ₹6.5 crore on its second Thursday alone, and continues to draw strong footfall despite stiff competition from new releases.
To celebrate the film's historic run, Ahaan and co-star Aneet Padda recently jetted off to Bali, where fan videos and photos flooded social media. In one viral clip, a female fan is visibly emotional meeting the actor, while another captures Ahaan humbly thanking his supporters. He was also spotted wandering the streets of Bali in an all-white ensemble, exuding laidback vacation charm.
Released on July 18, 2025, Saiyaara tells the story of Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician, and Vaani Batra, a writer navigating themes of love, loss, and healing. The film features a talented ensemble including Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Sid Makkar, Alam Khan, and more. With soul-stirring music, sweeping visuals, and emotionally charged storytelling, Saiyaara has struck a chord with audiences around the globe.
