Liverpool have to plans to sell Federico Chiesa this summer despite interest from Inter Milan and Napoli.
This according to Italian outlet Gazzetta.it. They report that the Reds still consider the Italian international to be a part of their plans.
Italian international winger Federico Chiesa joined Liverpool from Juventus last summer.
It may have been a fruitful season for Liverpool as a team, as they won the Premier League title. However, Chiesa individually rarely featured in that triumph.
Therefore, there has been some speculation that the 27-year-old could return to Serie A.

Inter Milan have reportedly sounded out a deal for Chiesa this summer.
The Nerazzurri are looking to sign a forward player this summer. Their top target is Ademola Lookman of Atalanta, but they are aware of the need to consider other options.
Meanwhile, Italian champions Napoli are looking for a left-winger. They've missed out on Dan Ndoye to Bologna, and Chiesa could be the right option for the position.
According to the Gazzetta, both Inter and Napoli have inquired about Chiesa this summer.
However, the newspaper report, the Reds recently met with the former Juventus and Fiorentina winger's agent.
Liverpool made clear that, particularly with some of the sales of attacking players this summers, they still consider Chiesa a part of the project. Therefore, he is not going anywhere.

Carragher wants 'balance' over 'spending'

Jamie Carragher has warned Liverpool that "spending lots of money" won't guarantee them the Premier League title after the Reds won the trophy with four matches to spare last season. Arne Slot has so far recruited five senior players this summer in Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi and it is looking increasingly likely that Newcastle's Alexander Isak could join. The Reds are also pursuing Crystal Palace central defender Marc Guehi but Liverpool legend Carragher believes any success comes down to balance over spending. "I don't get this narrative that Liverpool are going to run away with it," Carragher said. "If you look at history, it could tell you that it's not just about having the best players, it's about having the best team, and sort of making that balance right, and at the weekend [in the Community Shield] it didn't quite look right. "I think we will have a title race, and I think there's a lot of talk. I think the great thing about football is what we actually saw on Sunday with Liverpool. It didn't look right. It tells me it's not just about spending lots of money and buying the best players, you've still got to manage that team and make it work and have a nice balance to it."

Grealish looks to reignite his career after joining Everton on a season-long loan deal from Man City

LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — England midfielder Jack Grealish will look to reignite his career after joining Everton on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City on Tuesday. The 29-year-old Grealish, one of the poster boys of English soccer, became the country's most expensive player after a 2021 move from Aston Villa to City for 100 million pounds (then $139 million). He was a regular pick in City's historic 2022-23 season when the team won the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup. However, Grealish has fallen out of favor over the last two seasons, not even making City's squad for the recent Club World Cup, and has chosen to move to Everton for a season ahead of the 2026 World Cup in North America. 'I'm over the moon to have signed for Everton - it's massive for me, honestly,' Grealish said. 'This is a great club, with great fans." The loan switch removes not only a high-earner from City's wage bill but also one of the many attacking midfielders built up in City's stacked squad. Grealish often had a free, roaming role when making his name at Villa, but had to be more disciplined and restricted as a left-sided forward in City manager Pep Guardiola's system of play. Everton manager David Moyes will try to get the best out of Grealish again, with the team's first match of the Premier League season at Leeds on Monday. 'As soon as I spoke to the manager, I knew there was only one place that I wanted to go,' Grealish said. ___ AP soccer:
