Galatasaray consider move for Roma keeper Svilar
According to today's edition of La Repubblica, via CalcioMercato, the Super Lig outfit view the Roma star as the perfect successor to Fernando Muslera, who left the club this summer after 14 years.

The reports suggest that whilst no official negotiations are underway as of yet, Galatasaray are encouraged by the fact Svilar has yet to sign his contract extension with the Giallorossi.

Will Svilar stay or will he go?
The highly rated 25-year-old has just finished an impressive season. The former Benfica man was named Serie A goalkeeper of the season for the 2024-25 campaign and Roma are preparing to offer him a new deal to reflect his increased status.
However, now Galatasaray look set to come knocking. The Turkish side are undertaking a massive overhaul, with Leroy Sane joining on a free from Bayern Munich, the club attempting to sign Victor Osimhen permanently and Inter duo Yann Sommer and Hakan Calhanoglu both linked with moves to the club.

Svilar had already been linked with Milan earlier in the window, after French goalkeeper Mike Maignan was linked away from the Rossoneri.
If Roma want to keep their talented Serbian, they will have to act quickly and wrap up a new contract for the player.

Bonny's decisive goal was certainly a message ahead of the upcoming season. But so was his performance on the whole.

Cristian Chivu and Adi Hutter were both furious after Inter Milan's Hakan Calhanoglu received a harsh red card in a friendly against Monaco. However, Tuttosport note that Chivu was not the only one upset with Vernice giving Calhanoglu his marching orders. Monaco coach Adi Hutter also voiced his anger with the referee alongside Chivu. Hutter was hardly looking for a result in a friendly match. The red card advantaging his team mattered little. Instead, the Monaco coach wanted his team to play eleven-versus-eleven for the full ninety minutes. This would have better allowed them to prepare for their season, which starts in just a week. Al Nassr make inquiry for Evan Ndicka
Roma continues to monitor every option in the transfer market, not just incoming ones, but also outgoing ones. While Massara is working to secure the services of those considered surplus to requirements for Gasperini, such as Kumbulla and Salah-Eddine, Saudi Arabia is inquiring about a key Giallorossi player, Evan Ndicka. As reported in today's edition of Il Tempo, Al Nassr are reportedly interested in signing the Ivorian defender. No official offer has yet been received from Al Nassr, but an inquiry has been made, and their interest in the Ivorian appears to be very serious, despite the recent signing of Spaniard Inigo Martinez. Roma aren't willing to let go of their defender easily and are asking for a very high fee. Ndicka would represent a significant capital gain, given that he arrived in Rome on a free transfer (minimum outlay of €4 million, given the commissions owed to his agents).
