Maya Jama looks happier than ever as she shares romantic snap with Man City ace Ruben Dias

Daily Mirror20-07-2025
Love Island's Maya Jama looked the picture of happiness as she shared a snap of her and her Manchester City boyfriend Ruben Dias as they holiday on the party island of Ibiza
Earlier this year Maya Jama took the major step of going Instagram official with the new man in her life, Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias. And it looks as though things have been going from strength to strength over recent months, if her latest post is anything to go by.

Maya took time out of her filming duties to spend quality time with Ruben on the party island of Ibiza. In one snap, Maya is seen cuddled into Ruben laughing coyly. Meanwhile, Ruben placed his head down towards her in a loving embrace.

In other pictures, Maya is seen riding a bike along with landscape views of the magical island. Maya captioned the post saying: "la isla de la magia."

And fans could not wait to comment. One person wrote: "Winning at life." And a host of other fans post love heart emojis.
But this is not the first time Maya has posted holiday snaps of the pair. Back in January was the first time the TV presenter posted loved up snaps of the pair while on holiday.

Speculation over Maya dating Ruben first started to circulate on News Year's Eve in December last year. And this came after the pair bumped into each other at the MTV Europe Music Awards, in Manchester in November.
And this came just few months after her second public split with rapper Stormzy. Maya and the rapper first started dating in 2014 and their relationship lasted five years before their first break-up.
But on reflection on what ultimately led to their split, Maya said in an interview: "We were so young when we met, just beginning our careers. I was starting at MTV. He'd not even released a single at that point. We were just little babies."

She added: "I don't think either of us knew it was going to be such a big thing. We were just: we're young and in love and we're going to go for it and work really hard. We're just together. We never really did red carpets. We didn't do any of that stuff."
At the time Stormzy had even hinted that marriage was on the cards during an interview in 2018 with the Sunday Mirror. He said at the time: "I'm still so young but I want to propose, it's going to happen and I will do it right. She is so sick, she is the best."
Years later, the pair reunited and tried for a second time to make their relationship work but to no avail. Sadly, thew couple called time on their romance in July 2024.
Sharing a joint statement, it read: "We tried and it didn't work and that's okay."

Aleira's controversial methods have caused her internal organs to "shift and adjust" to new spots. However, despite the dangers, Aleira, who is originally from Venezuela, isn't ready to quit. And despite the health risks, Aleira has encouraged others to try and get a waist like hers. The 45-second trick to get a snatched waist that Love Island star swears by At the start of her waist cinching journey, Aleira wore a corset six hours a day, but she has now ramped this up to 23 hours. Wearing a corset comes with a myriad of issues, such as breathing difficulties, organ compression and muscle atrophy. Advertisement The model has now launched her own brand of shapewear, to help people achieve her "one of a kind look". "My shapewear line will change many lives" she said. What are the dangers of wearing corsets? Wearing corsets, a fashion practice that dates back centuries, can pose significant medical risks despite their aesthetic appeal. One of the primary concerns is the potential for internal organ damage. Corsets, especially when tightly laced, can compress the ribs and exert pressure on internal organs such as the liver, stomach, and intestines. This compression can lead to displacement and deformation of these organs, potentially causing digestive issues, reduced lung capacity, and impaired circulation. Breathing difficulties are another serious risk associated with corset use. The constriction of the rib cage can limit the expansion of the lungs, leading to shallow breathing and decreased oxygen intake. Over time, this can result in respiratory problems and reduced stamina. In extreme cases, prolonged use of tightly laced corsets can lead to conditions like atelectasis, where parts of the lungs collapse due to inadequate ventilation. Additionally, corsets can affect the musculoskeletal system. The constant pressure and altered posture imposed by a corset can weaken core muscles, leading to muscle atrophy and decreased strength. This can result in long-term back pain and poor posture once the corset is removed. There is also a risk of nerve compression, which can lead to numbness, tingling, and in severe cases, nerve damage. While modern corsets are often designed to be less restrictive than their historical counterparts, the potential health risks remain. It is essential for individuals to be aware of these risks and to use corsets sparingly and with caution. Consulting with medical professionals before incorporating corsets into regular wear can help mitigate some of these risks and ensure that any adverse effects are promptly addressed. "It's a gentle product with incredible results, created by me and inspired by the story of my own body." Aleria added: "I don't miss my old figure at all. Advertisement "People react in different ways. "Some follow me, some feel nervous, and others admire me or see my body as something crazy." She added that men "can't get enough" of her "exotic" figure.

After this, Shakira Khan ended her partnership with Conor as she claimed that she had 'suppressed emotions' about her former partnership with Harry. Later, Harry pulled Shakira for a chat where he flirted with her and suggested that it would "be a good idea" for the duo to meet up after the show. Later, this clip was shown to all the islanders on the big screen leaving Helena fuming and the rest of the islanders in shock at his behaviour. "I trust someone, and there's a level of respect there. And, like, the level of respect isn't there. "Because for me, what is the crack like? What's the story like? Is it just sort of a thing where you want what you can't have? "Why are you doing this? Because you're prodding her [Shakira], because she's trying to get over [you] and she's trying to move on, but flirting with her and stuff is still prodding her. "And so what is like? What is that for? I'm so close to Shakira, [I can see] how actually hurt she is, her experience in here is nearly ruined. "Then obviously having a situation, like her experiences here is nearly going to be ruined if she doesn't get over this." He added: "And for what reason like just, that's what I'm trying to know." Love Island star Harry makes very honest confession to Shakira as they chat after explosive Grafties and Helena split Harry then said that hearing what Shakira had to say in their conversation on the steps inside the villa "changed things for him". But Conor warned Harry to properly think about the connection he does share with Helena before he makes a rash decision. "Just before you do anything with Helena, just think about honestly what you do want, because I don't know if Shakira will [get back with you]," he continued. "I'm only trying to say that as a friend, it's just that f******, you might end up with nobody. Connor added: "Just think about what you have first with Helena. And like, I think it's quite rare to be honest, like, what, like, what you do have." This is when Harry thought that his partnership with Helena was "more friendly" and his connection with Shakira was more "relationship focussed". Conor replied: "That's fine. Man, that's like, you know, that's how you feel. "No one can blame you for how you feel, but you just need to communicate it man. Just think about honestly what you do want, because I don't know if Shakira will [get back with you] Conor Phillips "You know what I mean? Rather than coasting along and then people getting blindsided." In his beach hut confessional, Conor couldn't help but dissect the situation further. "I don't feel bad for Harry unfortunately. You're [a] 30 year old man, I think you should maybe know a bit better than to play around with people's emotions like that." Droves of fans took to social media to praise Conor for his stern words after watching scenes. You're [a] 30 year old man, I think you should maybe know a bit better Conor Phillips Writing on Instagram, one wrote: "Connor stood on business with this statement." A second quoted: "Connor 'I don't feel sorry for Harry … he shouldn't play with people's emotions … he's a 30 year old man," followed by three clapping hand applause emojis. "One thing about Conor is he's gonna tell the truth," stated a third fan. As a fourth said: "Liked how Conor really asked the right questions and showed that's not fine how he acted." Adding: "He also kept it to himself what Harry said until Helena sorted her relationship with him.
