Home Bargains shopper 'gasps' after spotting 'amazing' £15 decor

Daily Mirror16-05-2025

Interior design lovers can't wait to get their hands on a £15 Home Bargains item after seeing how a shopper styled it in her home
Home Bargains often delights shoppers with its selection of home and garden decor. Now, the retailer could have another hit with a "gorgeous" new range that's exciting fans. A shopper revealed she "literally gasped" when she spotted the new wicker basket planters, which are available in three sizes.
According to TikTok user @weir_home, there's a large basket for £19.99, a medium basket for £14.99, and a small basket for £9.99. The blogger had a clear vision for the medium basket she purchased, and viewers loved her stunning results.

As seen in the viral clip, the savvy shopper used the basket to display a faux tree she'd purchased from Amazon. The shopper added a few boxes at the bottom of the basket to add height to her plant, then filled the base with a blanket to hold the plant in place and covered the top with decorative stones, which she also purchased from Home Bargains.

Captioning her post, the sharp-eyed shopper said: "Literally gasped when I walked into home bargains today - just look how amazing these wicker basket planters are. I thought I'd style this one indoors but I definetely want to go back & get some for the garden."
Viewers praised the finished look. Someone commented: "Love." Another wrote: "That pot is so gorg! Think I'll be making a trip." A third praised: "Love these baskets."
Someone else revealed: "Such a fab idea I got mine for some lavender plants outdoors." A different shopper shared: "I have that basket in my hall I use it to put shoes in to save dirt & grit going in my living room."
It doesn't look like the baskets are available on Home Bargains' website. However, shoppers looking to add more plants around their home might like the Jardin Artificial Rose Hanging Basket, from £16.99.
For those looking for a storage basket, there's also a £9.99 Home Collections Willow Log Basket and a £7.99 The Kids Edit Flower Basket. You can also draw inspiration from shoppers and use the baskets to display faux plants inside your home.

In more Home Bargains news, shoppers love a "perfect" £20 garden lounger "ideal for summer days." The Outdoor Living Collection Nevada Folding Sun Lounger caught attention on social media when it was shared by Facebook page Money Saver By Dansway. Someone replied: "Oooh love this." A second added: "For summer days!"
Another said: "That's the cheapest I've ever seen it! Have to go get 2 before they sell out!!" A different fan claimed: "On my way I'm buying 20." The product description suggests the lounger is lightweight and easy to store in the winter.
It states: "Relax in comfort with The Outdoor Living Collection Nevada Folding Sun Lounger. This lightweight, multi-position lounger is easy to store in winter and features a convenient carry handle."

World's sexiest volleyball star Kayla Simmons goes topless on beach as fans say ‘never been jealous of ocean until now'

KAYLA SIMMONS went topless and swam near sharks in her most Jaws-dropping photoshoot ever. The former university volleyball star modestly claimed she was just "playing mermaids". 19 Kayla Simmons lapped up both the sun and Instagram likes as fans foamed over 'one of her hottest' photoshoots Credit: 19 The fearless star went for a plucky dip Credit: 19 Fans believe Kayla was some-fin special Credit: 19 Admirers were awed by her boldness Credit: But her 1million Instagram followers believe it was more about thrills than gills as she dazzled on the beach and underwater. One admirer reflected: "Never been jealous of the ocean until now." Another fan claimed the social media sensation had "a smile to launch a thousand ships". Kayla's nautical but nice snaps included her lying on the sand in a bikini that was minus its upper half. She was also seen in a short video wading into the sea, still without a top. And once she plunged under, marine lovers might reckon some of the exotic sealife she was snapped with - including huge fish - was almost as impressive as Kayla's free-spirited dip. But woe betide anyone whispering that to her army of enthusiasts. One fan raved: "One of your hottest sets... so stunning Kayla!" Another wrote: "Everything about this is incredible." A third simply stated: "Most beautiful woman in the world." Kayla Simmons films herself in sauna wearing just a tiny bikini as 'world's sexiest volleyball player' sends fans wild And a fourth posted: "I love your natural beauty." A few observers did worry about what looked like sharks just metres away - with Kayla even seen swimming towards one such beast. And when she was asked where the snaps were taken, she replied: "First photo is Hawaii." That Pacific island state is home to around 40 types of shark - but nearly all those varieties are safe to humans, with bite attacks very rare. So Kayla probably felt safe beneath the surface being... "snapped". The part-time mermaid also proved she's a full-time marvel on Instagram - as she rapidly clocked up thousands of likes for her assortment of aquatic pics. How I achieve the perfect brows fast (with just this one product)

Whether it's the brand's signature hoola bronzer (£27.05, or porefessional primer (£18.99, many of Benefit's products have become much-loved beauty staples, but perhaps none more so than its brow heroes. From pencils that carve, define and polish, to waxes that sculpt and hold an arch in place, odds are you've had a Benefit eyebrow tool (or three) in your make-up bag at some point. Founded in 1976 by sisters Jean and Jane Ford (both were successful models and make-up artists at the time), Benefit Cosmetics has always been at the forefront of a pioneering, but playful, approach to beauty. Take, for example, its hoola bronzer – this was the first shimmer-free matte bronzer on the market when it launched 20 years ago, while the brand's 10-year-old roller lash curling mascara (£24.50, was inspired by hair rollers, capturing and curling every lash, for a dramatic flutter. Some of the brand's bestsellers can even be traced right back to the Seventies – see the rose-tinted lip and cheek stain, which was originally created for dancers as a nipple tint. But it's the beauty brand's brow roster for which Benefit is most loved and lauded. From the tinted and clear gel to the precisely brow pencil, the brand is the gold standard for creating salon-quality brows at home. When I first got into make-up as a young teenager, my mum took me straight to the Benefit counter, and I've been in a committed relationship with the brand's beauty products ever since – chiefly the precisely brow pencil. Helping you create the illusion of fuller brows, the precise tip lets you draw individual hairs while the brush tool buffs the formula, for extra volume. How I tested I've been using the precisely pencil for years. From application, the formula and staying power to the finished look, here's why Benefit's precisely brow pencil will always be a cult classic. Why you can trust us Daisy Lester is a senior IndyBest writer, she frequently writes about the beauty products worth buying. She has previously reviewed new launches and cult favourites, from Bobbi Brown's Jones Road gel eyeliner to Refy's new skincare range. She has, crucially, assessed Benefit's hero products before, to bring our readers the ones she thinks are worth buying. Sitting at the top of that list is the Benefit precisely my brow pencil, and this is her full, honest review.

Livvy responded to someone who commented on a previous video of hers saying: 'you must wash new bedding.' However, the mum responded with something slightly different, and it has very much got people talking. She explained that she 'never' washes new bedding and has never washed her new clothes either. Advertisement Livvy also added: 'I sometimes don't even wash clothes I get from the charity shop. That's gross isn't it?' She explained to her followers that she didn't understand why people would wash their new bedding or new clothes. The mum then went on to explain that she didn't even wash the brand-new newborn clothes she bought. Livvy then asked her followers: 'What am I doing wrong here? Why? They're new.' Advertisement Before then telling her followers that she didn't want to know the answer to those questions.
