Joy Taylor, 38, reveals the truth about dating 25-year-olds after being accused of sleeping with colleagues to boost career

Daily Maila day ago
Recently-fired Fox Sports star Joy Taylor is setting the record straight on her dating habits after a clip of her speaking about younger men went viral.
Back in May, before she was axed from the network, Taylor revealed on 'The Truth After Dark' that she 'would not date younger than 25, 26' to the shock of hosts Paul Pierce and Azar Farideh.
Taylor, 38, added, 'Young men are very aggressive and do not care how old I am.'
That clip has since 'haunted' her ever since, causing her to clarify her position on pursuing romance with those younger than her.
In an appearance on the 'Hot Mics' show - hosted by 'Extra' presenter Billy Bush - Taylor stressed that she isn't a 'cougar'.
When Bush asked her about the clip, Taylor said, 'I am never gonna live this down and it is now haunting me... I've been dealing with these young men I''m like - I'm sorry, I just wanna be clear: I'm not dating [25-year-olds].'
'I made a mistake because no 70-year-olds are calling me,' she joked before adding, 'I date men my age, I'm 38... that is who I'm dating.'
Bush did ask Taylor what is the lowest age she would date, but Taylor didn't respond to either of those questions directly.
Taylor was recently let go by Fox as the company instituted a massive re-shuffling of their daytime and afternoon programming.
Not only was Taylor left behind by the network, but Fox also cut the show that she hosted - 'Speak' - entirely.
This comes as the company is dealing with the aftermath of a sex scandal - where Taylor was alleged to have had sexual relations with multiple higher-ups in order to advance her career. She has denied the allegations.
When asked by Bush what her next career steps are, Taylor said, 'I definitely will be in sports, I love sports, I still have a lot to say about sports, and I will have a platform that is following and covering sports for sure.
'I love the momentum that "Too Personal" [her podcast] has and I've really appreciated the support and the reaction to it. I'm happy to have my own platform because I think that's really important anyway.
'I have a lot of opinions about a lot of different things, so it's a space that I'm grateful to have especially in these insane times.'

Coco Austin poses in an impossibly high-cut sheer swimsuit that does nothing to hide her butt

Coco Austin showed off her famous curves in a very high-cut thong swimsuit on Friday. The 46-year-old mother-of-one — who is Law & Order: SVU star Ice-T 's longtime wife — posed on a beach wearing a scanty OMG SWIM one-piece in new Instagram photos. She displayed her ample curves in the skintight suit, which was complete with sheer panels that flashed her busty cleavage. Coco tantalized her three million followers as she stretched out on a lounge chair with her blonde hair damp from a swim. 'Just a girl that loves swimsuits and the water,' she captioned the post. Coco also gave fans a glimpse at her summer relaxation as she shared a photo taken outside the New York City restaurant The Corner Store. She posed with her nine-year-old daughter Chanel and friend Heather John, who brought along her eight-year-old daughter Minka John. The blonde bombshell wrote, 'Soooo yummy! Great service! Put this on your list of places to go!' as she used Instagram Stories to share the outtake. It comes after she recently engaged her online audience by sharing a set of images featuring her in a leopard print bodysuit. 'I Went Wild,' she teased in the caption before shouting out hairstylist Anna Bianca Clark. She added, 'She is an amazing Hair Specialist! Whatever your heart desires she can make it happen... and she surprised me with her last minute photography expertise.. You're welcome to shoot me whenever! You rock, girl.' Austin posts content on the subscriber-based platform OnlyFans, where her followers get access to exclusive photos for $19.99/month. Her profile describes her as 'the one and only Coco, the one who paved the way for curvy models.' It reads: 'I've continued to model after 25 years. Also, along the way I transcended into acting, TV personality, Author, Entrepreneur, Clothing Designer and Boss Babe.' She also notes, 'I have an obsession for heels and love to clean,' while teasing, 'Good things come in small packages. (My measurements are 39DDD, 26, 43) ...and I'm barely 5'2".' And there is a disclaimer: 'This IS NOT a porn page.. Pictures and videos on this page are Playboy style and is all hot content that I can't post anywhere else. But to get more of me you have to subscribe.' Ice-T and Coco are often on the receiving end of criticism due to their unconventional parenting style — which has included breastfeeding Chanel until age five, bathing her in the kitchen sink, and letting her twerk in home videos. But the Law & Order fixture has defended their choices, chalking it up to their 'rock star' lifestyle.

'Chimp Crazy' star sentenced to nearly 4 years in prison for lying that primate had died

A Missouri woman who starred in the HBO documentary series 'Chimp Crazy' has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison after she lied that a movie star primate that she was accused of mistreating had died. Tonia Haddix, 56, was also ordered Thursday to serve three years of supervised release after her 46-month prison sentence ends. Haddix, who ran a primate facility the St. Louis suburb of Festus, pleaded guilty in March to two counts of perjury and one of obstructing justice. It all started nearly a decade ago, when the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sued, saying she was keeping several chimps in 'confined in cramped, virtually barren enclosures' at the now-defunct Missouri Primate Foundation facility. Among the chimps was Tonka, who appeared in the 1997 movies 'Buddy' and 'George of the Jungle.' Actor Alan Cumming, the British-born actor who starred in the movie 'Buddy' alongside Tonka, also begged for the primate to be moved. Haddix signed a consent decree in 2020 agreeing to send four of the chimps to a Florida sanctuary. The order allowed her to keep three others, including Tonka, at a facility she was to build. But after a judge found that was not complying with the agreement, authorities arrived in 2021 and removed the remaining chimps, except for Tonka. Haddix claimed Tonka had died and that she had cremated the remains, according to court records. 'I wanted to keep trying to save Tonka if l could. But then he just died on his own, so there was no saving him,' she said, according to court records. But Tonka was alive. In 2022, PETA removed him from a cage in the basement of her home in Sunrise Beach, Missouri, near the Lake of the Ozarks. Haddix told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 2022 that she lied to protect Tonka from 'the evil clutches of PETA.' She also admitted what happened in the third episode of 'Chimp Crazy,' which premiered last year, saying, 'Tonka was literally on the run with me.' Just last month, investigators found another chimp locked up in the basement of her home in Sunrise Beach in violation of court orders, documents in the case said. She was arrested, and her bond revoked. 'Defendant has shown no remorse for her criminal conduct, and has continued to challenge and defy this Court's authority, and she should face a significant punishment as a result,' prosecutors wrote. Her lawyer, Justin Gelfand, asked for mercy in court filings, saying she suffered abuse as a child and then endured several rocky marriages as an adult. 'This life taught her a clear lesson: humans are unpredictable and are not frequently safe or trustworthy," Gelfand wrote. "In the face of these harsh realities threaded throughout her life, Haddix came to form secure attachments with animals.' PETA praised the sentence in a news release, saying that Haddix now 'can't hurt another chimpanzee.'

Hulk Hogan's daughter posts humiliating U-turn after sharing shock conspiracy theories about wrestling icon's death

Hulk Hogan 's estranged daughter Brooke has made a dramatic U-turn over her 'foul play' claims - after sharing conspiracy theories about the WWE icon's death. Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, died on July 24 from a cardiac arrest, according to a Florida medical examiner's office. The 71-year-old previously had leukemia and atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm, the report from the District Six Medical Examiner also said. However, despite his previous health issues, Hogan's daughter Brooke took to social media in the days that followed to seemingly accuse the authorities of foul play. She shared an article by Hogan's friend Bubba the Love Sponge, which read: 'Quick cremation without autopsy raises questions about Hulk Hogan's death.' In response, Hogan's ex-wife Sky Daily hit back at her estranged stepchild's claims - and now Brooke has taken to social media to backtrack from them herself. Brooke then backtracked from her previous claims amid hopes of an autopsy on her late father She wrote: 'Everyone stop trying to say Sky 'shaded me'. I don't feel like she did at all. I thought post was respectful and classy and I have said in EVERY interview that she was always nice to me. 'Me and her don't have beef as far as I know. I was told he was cremated without an autopsy which of course freaked me out - but he has not been cremated and she's doing the research. 'I don't think anyone thinks theres foul play suspected but the man had a very complicated medical history. 'Hearing what was coming out was shocking to me, given that I've seen MULTIPLE near-perfect blood panels of my father's and then all of a sudden everything's different? Anyone would want answers. And she's doing just that. Stop twisting stuff, people'. In the wake of Brooke's wild claims, Daily had spoken out about the conspiracy theories and urged those outside of the family not to take them seriously. Referring to 'misleading media stories created by faceless AI accounts' and 'people not close enough to truly know what was happening,' Daily urged followers to be 'patient' as news continues to trickle out about Hogan's fatal heart attack. However, Brooke did reveal that Hogan's body is yet to be cremated and credited Daily with the delay - amid hopes of a potential autopsy on the WWE icon. 'I'm glad to see that my dad has not been cremated and that Sky is waiting because of family questions,' Brooke wrote on her Instagram story Thursday morning. 'With all of the speculation and uncertainty of my dad's death, I want to personally offer to pay for an autopsy if that's what it takes to get it done. My dad's dignity and legacy deserves it.' However, according to TMZ, officials have been given no indication that Daily is seeking an autopsy report at this moment in time. Earlier this week, Brooke shared an article by radio personality and Hogan friend Bubba the Love Sponge, which read: 'Quick cremation without autopsy raises questions about Hulk Hogan's death.' Brooke added a caption: 'Exactly.' The Clearwater Police Department attempted to squash any outlandish theory about Hogan's death as they said: 'As previously stated, there are no signs of foul play or anything suspicious about the death'. Hogan was pronounced dead at a hospital less than 90 minutes after medics arrived at his home in Clearwater to answer a call about a cardiac arrest on the morning of July 24, police said. The report said the cause of death was 'natural.' Bubba's allegations include that Hogan's body has already been cremated, somebody could have injected something into the wrestler's dialysis port while he slept to induce a heart attack and questions around why an autopsy wasn't carried out. Bubba, whose real name is Todd Clem, did not offer facts to substantiate his stunning claims, which stem from a report in the Tampa Bay Times from July 31 that says Hogan was 'doing therapy' when he collapsed at his home in Clearwater Beach on July 24. The report says paramedics told staff at Morton Plant Hospital that Hogan had just returned home from surgery and was 'currently waiting to start dialysis'. Clem claims nobody knew the wrestling icon was due to begin dialysis. In a bid to revive him, medics reportedly gave Hogan drugs that can treat excessive levels of potassium, a sign of kidney failure. These can lead to cardiac arrest. Hogan was also given two milligrams of Narcan, the drug that can quickly reverse opioid overdoses. There is no indication that Hogan had overdosed. However, The Tampa Bay Times also revealed the Pinellas County Medical Examiner did not perform an autopsy on Hogan because his death was not deemed to be suspicious. According to his death certificate, Hogan is going to be cremated at the Bay Area Crematory in Clearwater. A specific date for that has not yet been announced. Yet, it appears his widow has now halted plans to move forward with the cremation in order to allow Brooke to have an autopsy conducted amid the speculation shrouding Hogan's passing.
