Ruby Franke and Kevin Franke are going down separate paths.
More than a year after the disgraced '8 Passengers' YouTuber was sentenced to up to 30 years in prison alongside colleague for child abuse, she and her husband have finalized their divorce, according to KSL-TV Utah.
Per the outlet, District Judge Roger Griffin signed the couple's divorce decree March 20, granting Kevin sole custody of the couple's four children who are still minors. (They are also parents to Shari, 21, and Chad, 20.) Ruby, meanwhile, has been ordered to have no contact with them, per an order from the 4th District Juvenile Court obtained by KSL-TV.
And while typically child support is paid in a full custody agreement, Kevin agreed to 'consider any child support payments owed to him by Ruby Franke already paid,' per KSL-TV. Kevin will also retain ownership of the couple's home Springville Utah, along with a 2.8 acre-property in Scofield, Carbon County.

Ruby will keep $85,000 that she withdrew from accounts after her initial separation from her ex husband in 2022 but all other financial assets in her name will be reallocated to Kevin. Neither party requested any additional alimony.
Although the couple had been living apart since September 2022, Kevin filed for divorce in December 2023, three months after she was arrested.
Ruby and Jodi pleaded guilty to child abuse charges last year after the 43-year-old's two youngest children were found emaciated and abused in their care. Utah state prosecutor Eric Clarke claimed that the women had 'committed horrible acts of child abuse.'
In February, Kevin—who married Ruby in 2000—told People that he and Ruby were close to reaching a divorce settlement, and that he had cut off all contact with her in the last year.
'The last letter that I received from her from prison was maybe in March or April of last year,' he told the outlet. 'And then I requested the Department of Corrections to ask her to stop writing me."
Kevin admitted he was still 'very angry' with his wife.
'I didn't want to hear anymore,' he added. 'I didn't like what she was saying. It just didn't feel right and it didn't feel good.'

Glen Powell's Ex Gigi Paris Details What Led to Breakup

Originally appeared on E! Online Glen Powell's ex is not leaving her side of the story unwritten. Nearly two years after the Top Gun: Maverick actor and Sydney Sweeney's infamous will-they-won't-they flirtationship amid filming their romantic comedy Anyone But You, Gigi Paris—who was dating Glen at the time—shared the moment she realized things were not going to work out for them. 'I got a phone call from him right about when I was going to go to Australia to work,' the model said on the Too Much podcast June 10. 'I had my visa, which took me much longer than I anticipated—meanwhile all this s--t was coming out on the internet.' And while Gigi, who didn't reference her ex or Sydney by name during the interview, felt relieved she was finally going to Australia where he was filming the rom-com, Glen felt differently. As she noted of one of their last phone calls, 'He called and said, 'The producers and I have discussed and I think it's best if you don't come to visit.'' More from E! 'I flew across the world to look at him in the face and say, 'I can't do this anymore,'' the 32-year-old said of ending the three-year romance, 'which was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.' Amid the dating rumors that circulated Glen, 36, and his 27-year-old costar—who was engaged to now ex Jonathan Davino at the time—Gigi admitted she felt like she was 'fed to the dogs.' 'I just wanted respect,' she continued. 'Especially if it's gonna be public like, don't make an ass out of me. Don't make a fool out of someone you've been with over three years, talking about forever with. Have some decency. At the end of the day, it was like, 'Well work comes first.' Power to you, that's your priority. I've got to walk away.' Gigi assured, though, that her April 2023 breakup with Glen was not to gain any fame for herself out of the situation. 'It wasn't make-believe and it got to the point where it seemed as though make-believe was more important than the real thing,' she explained. 'It wasn't a way to monetize the breakup, it wasn't a way to twist the story around. I was shattered.' E! News has reached out to Sydney and Glen about Gigi's comments but has not heard back. For his part, while Glen and Sydney admitted to amping up their chemistry for press, the Hit Man star said it was difficult to balance with a breakup. "The only reason it made things harder for me to lean into that stuff was that I was going through a very real breakup amidst a promotional tour,' he told Business Insider in December 2023. 'I was with someone that I really loved and cared about and was trying to kind of make sense of a lot of stuff.' Protesters rally against ICE in downtown Chicago

*Editor's note: The video above is from a previous report. A new video will be added during WGN Evening News at 6. CHICAGO – ICE protests are underway in downtown Chicago Demonstrators were protesting ICE and other federal agents engaged in the mass deportations happening nationwide. Images of people in Chicago being lured to immigration appointments before being detained are fresh in the minds of many. Comm'r. Jessica Vasquez saw what happened last Wednesday in the South Loop. PREVIOUS COVERAGE: ICE arrests at immigration supervision building in Chicago's South Loop spark protest, advocates speak out 'I have never seen anything like, and I know I have a resident who was detained. She has a daughter at one of our elementary schools. She was the only parent in the city. What's going to happen to what child?' Vasquez said. Those protesting on Tuesday said solidarity is key. 'I feel like ICE is treating the immigrants wrong and they're not giving them the freedom that everybody else should, so I feel like we should stand up and protest it, because that's the right thing to do,' demonstrator Dezirre Harris said. ICE raids: What are your rights when approached by an immigration officer? It wasn't long before this group was on the move, flanked by officers on foot, in SUV and on bicycles. This protest was held ahead of another protest also planned for Tuesday at Federal Plaza. That one is anticipated to be much bigger. Some people who spoke with WGN-TV are hopeful things will remain peaceful. Tensions in Los Angeles also remain high after President Trump sent the National Guard and Marines to the city of angels to assist with immigration raids. U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) spoke Tuesday reflecting on the deployment of National Guardsmen to Los Angeles. Broadview ICE facility faces scrutiny over alleged poor conditions, treatment 'Addressing it effectively means not grandstanding, but giving law enforcement the resources they need to control the situation,' Durbin said. Durbin added on Tuesday what we're seeing in Los Angeles is the first time the National Guard has been deployed for a domestic operation without the request of a governor since the 1960s, when the National Guard was sent to Alabama to protect Civil Rights demonstrations. Federal immigration raid at Omaha meat production plant sparks protests

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Immigration authorities raided an Omaha meat production plant Tuesday morning, inspiring some small protests, but details on exactly how many workers were detained weren't immediately clear. The raid at Glenn Valley Foods in south Omaha, which has a large immigrant population, happened around 9 a.m. Tuesday and left workers and executives at the plant shaken. Chad Hartmann, president of the food packaging company, said the front office was stunned by the aggressive nature of federal officials' raid and bewildered by why the company was targeted. 'My biggest issue is: why us?" Hartmann said. 'We do everything by the book.' The plant uses E-Verify, the federal database used to check the immigration status of employees. When he said as much to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who carried out the raid, they told him the E-Verify system 'is broken.' 'I mean, what am I supposed to do with that?' Hartmann said. 'This is your system, run by the government. And you're raiding me because your system is broken?' Omaha police and the Douglas County sheriff said immigration officials had warned them about their plans, and their departments helped block off traffic around the neighborhood where many food production plants are located while ICE officers worked. Meatpacking plants rely heavily on immigrant workers who are willing to do the physically demanding work. The industry has not yet been the focus of President Donald Trump's immigration enforcement efforts, but the administration has been intensifying its efforts in recent weeks. Trump called out the National Guard this week to respond to ongoing protests in Los Angeles over his immigration policies. In Omaha, a small group of people came out to protest the raids, and some of them even jumped on the front bumper of a vehicle to try to stop officers in one location while others threw rocks at officials' vehicles as a white bus carrying workers pulled away from a plant. CEO and owner Gary Rohwer told WOWT in Omaha he wasn't made aware of the operation ahead of time. He said federal agents entered the plant with a list of 97 people they wanted to screen. 'Of course not. It's a raid,' said Rohwer, whose company makes the Gary's QuickSteak brand of ready-to-grill steak. Estefania Favila, a supervisor at Glenn Valley Foods, said she was in a morning meeting when federal officials began banging on the plant's doors and yelling, 'Homeland Security!' 'They just came in and said that it was a raid and we had to get everybody out of production," Favila said. Employees were separated by those who had documents showing they were U.S. citizens, those who had valid work documents and those who did not have documents, she said. About 70 people were taken away in buses with the windows blacked out, Favila said. Among them were two of her cousins who immigrated from Honduras, she said. ICE officials confirmed in an email the raid at Glenn Valley Foods, saying it was 'based on an ongoing criminal investigation into the large-scale employment of aliens without authorization to work in the United States.' They said it was likely the largest 'worksite enforcement operation" in Nebraska since the start of Trump's second term. Hartmann, the company president, said he planned to contact Republican Rep. Don Bacon, who represents the district, and other Nebraska leaders to try to get answers. By Tuesday afternoon, Bacon had issued a statement saying the ICE raid sought to investigate stolen identities and that 'ICE verified that Glen Valley Foods complied with E-Verify 100% and is a victim in this as well.' Douglas County Commissioner Roger Garcia, who rushed out of a regular meeting Tuesday morning after he learned about the raid, said the community is shaken. 'It clearly instills a lot of fear,' said Garcia, who represents the area. 'People are asking me if this is going to continue for multiple days here in Omaha. People are asking me if this is going to spread to other cities.'
