Bob Dylan ticket prices as three Swansea shows go on sale

Tickets are now on sale for Bob Dylan's UK tour, including three shows in Swansea. The Mr. Tambourine Man singer confirmed he will grace Swansea with three performances this November, as part of his "phone free" 2025 UK and Ireland tour.
The legend's 'Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour' is set to sweep into the Building Society Arena on November 9, 10, and 11 after already clocking up four years on the tarmac. Presale tickets went on sale at 10am on Wednesday, July 10, while general admission tickets hit the market at 10am on Friday, July 18.
Pre-registration for the venue presale has now closed, but alternatively, tickets can be sought at Ticketmaster.
Prices for the sought-after tickets start from £82.77, as well as the additional booking fee of £3.95 booking fee.
However, a look at the Event Travel site via Ticketmaster shows that tickets are now ranging from as much as £300- £400.
On November 9, 10 and 11, the 'front row experience' for the Swansea shows are now sold out, according to the site. These tickets started from £400.
Meanwhile, the 'gold hot ticket package' is still available, with prices starting from £300.
The folk music icon's visit to Swansea comes four years into his global jaunt, which has already included a revered performance at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena.
Dylan's choice to play Swansea might be seen as a tribute to Welsh bard Dylan Thomas, whose surname the American singer-songwriter adopted.
Those who wish to buy a ticket and attend the shows should bear in mind that they will have to say goodbye to their mobiles during the event, as phones are to be securely stowed away in lockable pouches provided at the venue.
While they can hold onto their phones (within these pouches) throughout the evening, use of the devices will be off limits, a measure installed by Dylan himself, who remarked that this move ensures "it creates better times for everyone in attendance".
Fans have been reassured they will be able to use their phones in an emergency, but only by visiting a dedicated area intended for phone use.

Scared team-mate found Lions star sat on toilet thinking he was going to die

Scared team-mate found Lions star sat on toilet thinking he was going to die 'I can tell this story, because spoiler alert, he's not dead,' explained Ugo Monye. Andy Powell had a little too much caffeine. (Image: (Photo by)) Former England international Ugo Monye has revealed Andy Powell once "thought he was going to die" after a night out on a British and Irish Lions tour. The former Harlequins flyer told the tale on talkSPORT, with hosts Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein cracking up. ‌ Powell and Monye were teammates on the 2009 Lions tour to South Africa, where the touring side lost 2-1 to the Springboks. Despite going 2-0 down, Sir Ian McGeechan's side were victorious in the third and final match, winning 28-9. Two tries from Shane Williams and one from Monye himself helped seal the win. ‌ A plethora of Welsh players were on that tour, much different to the 2025 edition, which featured only two Welshmen in the initial squad. ‌ Speaking to talkSPORT, Monye revealed that ex-Cardiff star Powell got himself into a right pickle during their celebrations. "I shared a room with a guy called Andy Powell," began Monye, before telling the tale of Powell's golf buggy trip down the M4 to the hosts. "Were you nervous about going to sleep?," asked Goldstein. "100%," replied Monye. Article continues below "I remember on the night of the third Test, we'd just won and it was a brilliant night. "He was just as committed on the pitch as he was to the social side. Everyone knows that Super Sunday is better than Super Saturday. "Generally, before a game you would have a caffeine tablet to get yourself revved up and motivated. He took four of these after the game because he wanted to go through the night. ‌ "So, he had had four caffeine tablets, a bucket load of Red Bulls, and then we got into bed at around three or four. "0.3 seconds later he sat bolt upright, because shock horror, he is having heart palpitations. "I can tell this story, because spoiler alert, he's not dead. ‌ "So, he woke up, having heart palpitations, I'm not in a fit state to manage him and I'm also not a doctor. So I've left the room to try and find our team doctor who was, funnily enough, asleep. There was no one around. I was frightened. "I go back into the room to not even consider what state he might be in. He's sat on the toilet with his phone in his hand, and his screensaver of his dog. And I was like: 'What are you doing?' "He was saying goodbye to his dog because he thought he was going to die." Article continues below "I just wonder what the stories you can't tell are," joked Goldstein, before all three cracked up. In the game itself, it was Monye who crossed for a try, with Wales legend Shane Williams grabbing a brace. Other Welsh internationals in the squad that day were Stephen Jones, Mike Phillips, Matthew Rees, Martyn Williams, Alun Wyn Jones and James Hook, although the latter did not come off the bench.

Netflix adds 'outstanding' crime series with 96% Rotten Tomatoes score as fans beg for fourth season

Netflix has recently added a new three-season long crime drama which is so good it has viewers skipping sleep to "binge it all night". Netflix has quietly added a brilliant crime thriller series which fans "can't turn off" as they've been left begging for a fourth season of the show. Sneaky Pete, starring Giovanni Ribisi in the leading role, follows the story of con man Marius, who steals the identity of his former cellmate Pete, after being released from prison to escape a dangerous gangster. ‌ Marius tricks Pete's family into believing he is their long-lost loved one but he quickly realises that their own secrets and lies could end up making his life as dangerous as the world he was desperately trying to escape. Other stars in the show include Margo Martindale, Bryan Cranston, Libe Barer and Marin Ireland. ‌ The American crime drama, co-created by Breaking Bad star Cranston first aired in 2015 but viewers are hooked after it was recently uploaded to Netflix. Sneaky Pete concluded in 2019 after its third season but fans are now begging for a fourth season after complaining the show came to an end too soon. ‌ The show, which originally aired on Amazon Prime Video, has been showered with praise as viewers rushed to X to express their surprise at just how good it was. One fan was left questioning how they missed the initial release of the show as they wrote: "Sneaky Pete on Netflix. Watch it. Holy s***. So so good. Don't know how I missed it the first time around." A second exclaimed: "Binge worthy series if you enjoy comedic heists and cons - 'Sneaky Pete' (Amazon Prime and Netflix)." A third chimed in: "Just got thru season 1 of Sneaky Pete and I'm mad no one told me ever hyped this show up????" Somebody else added: "I should be sleep. Up watching Sneaky Pete. Never heard of this show until the other day." ‌ Yet another agreed: "All I wanna do is watch Sneaky Pete." Someone else gushed: "Sneaky Pete has all my attention!!!" ‌ Another wrote: "Sneaky Pete on Netflix is a great show if you like unexpected turns and being on the edge of your seat." Fans are now begging for a fourth season to be released after many felt the show came to an abrupt end. One wrote: "Just binged watched #sneakypete. I need another series @netflix. Loved every episode." ‌ A second echoed: "Sneaky Pete is now on Netflix. Underrated show that ended too soon." The show was renewed for a second season in 2018, three years after its first season debuted so there may be hope for fans yet if enough of a fuss is kicked up about it. Sneaky Pete's release on Netflix came just weeks before actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner's death, who plays the recurring character of Marius' parole officer, James Bagwell, in the show. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! The 54-year-old star tragically passed away on July 20 after an accidental drowning while learning how to surf in Costa Rica. Fans were quick to point out his presence in the show as they took to X to say: "I'm literally finishing season 3 of 'Sneaky Pete', I was so happy to see Malcolm Jamal Warner in it, still looking youthful and vibrant." Another wrote: "I literally threw on Sneaky Pete, never even heard of it, and in comes Malcolm-Jamal Warner", alongside a sad face emoji.

Kids playground dubbed 'largest' of its kind coming to Welsh city

Kids playground dubbed 'largest' of its kind coming to Welsh city The indoor adventure playground also comes with a surprising feature Newport finally has new play centre for kids of all ages to enjoy (Image: Matt Sheppard) After years of public demand for better children's facilities, Newport is set to open the largest indoor adventure playground of its kind in the area - and it comes with a distinctly local twist. ‌ Located in the Kingsway Centre, Little Kingdom will officially open its doors on Saturday, August 16. Housed in the former Wilko store, which closed in 2023, the site has been completely transformed into an 11,000 square foot adventure space - with 5,000 square feet dedicated to a three-level play structure that can accommodate more than 300 children at any one time. ‌ "Families in Newport have been crying out for activities for children for years and we're so happy to finally give that to them," said Karrie Brewer, manager of Little Kingdom. "Not only do they get fun for all ages, but they get it at such a large scale, we can't wait for everyone to come and see!" ‌ There has been outcry for facilities that offer more activities for children (Image: Matt Sheppard) What sets Little Kingdom apart isn't just its size, but the way it pays homage to the city itself. The playground features scaled-down replicas of well-known Newport landmarks, including Newport Market, the Transporter Bridge, and Rodney Parade. The goal, according to organisers, is to offer children a sense of place as they play and ability to connect recreation with local identity. Article continues below As children navigate through the imaginative landscape, they'll encounter a range of play experiences suited to different age groups. Toddlers have access to soft play and role-playing areas aimed at encouraging creativity and social interaction. Meanwhile, older children can enjoy more challenging zones, including puzzle rooms, slides, trampolines, and climbing features. With high-level workspaces and five soundproofed office booths available, Little Kingdom offers parents the ability to stay connected while their children play nearby; a rare feature in a venue of this kind. ‌ The unique area is one of the biggest of its kind (Image: Matt Sheppard) "Not only do they get fun for all ages, but they get it at such a large scale," Karrie emphasised. "We can't wait for everyone to come and see!" More than just a business venture, Little Kingdom appears to be a direct response to what many residents have felt was a gap in the city's offerings. For years, parents in Newport have called for safer, weatherproof spaces where children can play, learn, and socialise. Article continues below "Families in Newport have been crying out for activities for children for years," Brewer added. "And we're so happy to finally give that to them." Little Kingdom officially opens on Saturday, August 16, in the Kingsway Centre, Newport. To book or find out more, click here or follow @ on social media.
