Zendaya popped into Miele's Gelateria in Inverness and was seemingly impressed with the flavours.
Zendaya has been spotted in a local ice cream shop in Inverness while she and boyfriend Tom Holland are in Scotland for the filming of Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, The Odyssey. The 28-year-old actress paid a visit to Miele's Gelateria in Inverness for an ice cream in the hot weather on Monday evening and posed for a sweet selfie with one of the staff members.

Miele's Gelateria uploaded a post to Facebook which read: "Our very own Superstar Joss with Zendaya last night down at Miele's Inverness. Any guesses what 3 flavours Zendaya went for? Seemingly she wants to come back for a few more testers with Tom.....

"Team Miele's have done so well this weekend with it being so hot and busy, we are super proud of each and every one of them for providing excellent service under lots of pressure. Also thanks to our customers too for their patience! So it was a great buzz to welcome the Hollywood star to our team of superstars here at Miele's!

"P.s Joss definitely wasn't star struck AT ALL! #mielesgelato #inverness #hollywood #stars #zendaya #tomholland #odyssey #spiderman #team #gelato #filming #scotland
Zendaya and Spider Man star Tom Holland are currently in Scotland while they film Nolan's upcoming movie, The Odyssey, which is set to be released in July 2026.

Excited fans rushed to the comment section of Miele's post as one wrote: "So cool!!!"

Another replied: "No way! We should have went to Inverness" and tagged a fellow Facebook user.
Someone else asked: "What ice cream did she get?"
While a fourth disappointed fan wrote: "They were in XoKo the other day and I missed them by like 5 minutes."

Zendaya and Tom were spotted strolling along Church street at the weekend as they popped into a local coffee shop amid their busy schedules.
The owners of XOKO also shared the moment on their social media page: "Spider-Man marvels at his XOKO Flat White, whilst in Inverness".
Tristan Aitchison, owner of XOKO, confirmed they had been in on Sunday, telling the Press and Journal: 'Tom Holland and Zendaya came in in the late afternoon, around 3pm, for a round of coffee for themselves and the people they were with.
'We don't do selfies with our customers, and we treat everyone the same — so we were delighted to see someone had taken their photo on Church Street, and our cup is in the frame.'

Glasgow brewery bar set to host new festival that will bring country music to Scotland

Country Fest will take place on August 16 and 17 with live music, dancing and themed fun for country fans. One of Glasgow's best-known brewery bars is getting ready to turn the east end into the Wild West, as Drygate Brewing Co. prepares to launch a brand new country music festival this summer. ‌ Country Fest will take place on the weekend of August 16 and 17, transforming the city centre venue into a haven for country fans, complete with live music, line dancing and themed entertainment. ‌ Organisers are promising two days packed with energy and fun, with a line-up of 12 live acts and a mix of entertainment that includes a bucking bronco, southern-style food, and group dancing led by line-dancing favourite Maggie, who has been dubbed the 'queen of the rodeo', Glasgow Live reports. ‌ Among the confirmed performers is alt-pop and country crossover artist Roisin McCarney, who will headline the event. She'll be joined by a variety of emerging and established acts set to bring a blend of classic country, folk and Americana to Glasgow. Drygate's team said: 'Whether you're a die-hard country fan or just love a great live show, this is a festival not to be missed. Dust off those boots, grab your hat, and join us for a day of non-stop music, dancing, and good ol' country fun.' Festivalgoers are being encouraged to embrace the dress code, with cowboy boots, hats and western-themed outfits all welcome. The venue will be decorated to match the mood, giving fans a taste of Nashville in the heart of Scotland's biggest city. ‌ The event is being organised by Drygate's general manager Jamie McCann, who said the team are excited to unveil something a little different this summer. 'We've been counting down the days, this event is going to be something special,' Jamie said. ‌ 'Our team is ready, and we can't wait to share the energy with everyone who walks through the door. It's going to be something you don't wanna miss.' Drygate Brewing Co., located near Glasgow Cathedral and the Tennent's Wellpark Brewery, has long been a fixture of the city's craft beer and live entertainment scene. Tickets are now on sale via the Drygate website, with day passes priced at £18 for Saturday and £12 for Sunday. Availability is limited, and organisers expect a strong turnout given the popularity of themed music events in the city. With the recent rise in popularity of country music in the UK, boosted by acts like Luke Combs and Kelsea Ballerini selling out major venues, Drygate's Country Fest is set to be a welcome addition to the Glasgow festival calendar.

Netflix's Wednesday confirmed for season three but fans all have same complaint

Netflix's Wednesday is set to return for its second season next month with show bosses confirming a third season with Jenna Ortega will also be on its way. Netflix's hit show Wednesday starring Jenna Ortega has been confirmed for a third season just weeks before season two is set to debut next month. Wednesday is returning for its second season on August 6 after the global success of the first season of Wednesday in 2022 saw it claim the title for the most-viewed English-language series on Netflix of all time. ‌ The announcement of the third season was made on the show's official Instagram page on Wednesday evening, of course. The poster cover shows Ortega, who plays Wednesday Addams, staring out into the distance with an ominous look on her face. Below her is Uncle Fester's hand holding a crystal ball with the number 3 on it. ‌ The words on the image read: "Bad things come in threes." The Wednesday account captioned the announcement: "Season 2 awakens in two weeks. Season 3 is the next omen, already in motion, already inevitable." ‌ Part one of season two is set to drop in less than two weeks time on August 6 while part two will arrive later in the year on September 3. Season three has not been given a release date as of yet. ‌ Fans of the show were left delighted with the update as they raced to the comment section. An update One excited follower exclaimed: "WEDNESDAY SEASON 3 CONFIRMED?? I'm breathing black glitter right now." Another chimed in: "This has made my day. I can't express how freakin' happy I am right now. Every day is Wednesday!" ‌ A third joked: "I'm rising from my grave after seeing this." A fourth added: "And season 2 hasn't even come out yet this is amazing!" Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! I hope so." However, elsewhere on X, formerly known as Twitter, other viewers appeared to not get too excited about the announcement as they all made the same remark about how long it will take to be released. Replying to the tweet posted by Netflix which announced the news, one wrote: "Too long of a gap between each season, half of the audience is already gone." ‌ A third made a similar remark as they wrote: "So we can expect it around 2030..." Another echoed: "I hope we don't have to wait 12 years for season 3 like we have for season 2." ‌ Somebody else joked: "Airing 2040 with 8 episodes." The first season of Wednesday aired in November 2022 and was a colossal hit on the streaming platform. ‌ However, fans have now been waiting almost three years for season two, which appears to have left many viewers disgruntled by the long period between seasons. Hopefully the wait will be worth it though as Season 2 of Wednesday is set to explore darker, more complex stories, while also retaining the show's signature macabre humour. Co-creator and showrunner Alfred Gough said: 'We think Season 2 is funnier as well!' ‌ The second season will also see the Addams Family and Nevermore lore being expanded with mysterious new characters being introduced. Familiar faces including Morticia, played by Catherine Zeta-Jones, Gomez, played by Luis Guzmán, and Pugsley, portrayed by Isaac Ordonez are all set to return in expanded roles. Viewers will want to stick around for season 3 too, which promises to go even further, on every level. Gough said: 'Our goal for Season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can. We want to continue digging deeper into our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday.' Co-creator and show runner Miles Millar added: 'We will be seeing more Addams Family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!'
