Pittsburgh Steelers Rookie Quarterback Will Howard Reveals Help from Ben Roethlisberger
The Pittsburgh Steelers still have a quarterback conundrum. That will be the case until Aaron Rodgers signs with the team or they move on and roll with Will Howard to see if he can play.
If it's going to be Will Howard's turn under center in Pittsburgh, he could be pretty well prepared, as he's getting some additional help this offseason.

Howard revealed that legendary Pittsburgh quarterback and two-time Super Bowl champion Ben Roethlisberger has been helping him this offseason.
"We actually have the same agent, so we got connected through that," Howard said on Up & Adams. "He's been really good. He's been super supportive of me through this whole process. Throughout now being a Steeler, getting to know him, he's been really helpful for me. He texted me checking last week, you know, just been a really good mentor. I can see him being a good mentor for me going forward. He's been super nice to me so far."
Howard admitted that he admired Roethlisberger growing up.
"Growing up for me, watching Pittsburgh, it was Big Ben," Howard said. "Big Ben was that guy. He was Pittsburgh. He was the Steel City, the blue collar, the gritty guy. And I want to be that too. I want to bring that edge, that energy. I think I did a pretty good job of it Ohio State. I like to kind of pride myself on that, and I'm going to try and bring it to the Steel City."

While we still don't know what will happen under center for the Steelers in 2025, it's good to know that if it's Howard, he's got major support from a Pittsburgh legend.

"With the 'Phins sitting on just $14 million in available cap space — the sixth-lowest in the league — a breakup makes plenty of fiscal sense." Advertisement Kay likes the Cardinals as an ideal trade destination for Hill because it would provide them with a one-two punch at a position the team has not pursued aggressively in the draft or trade market so far this offseason. "The team is on the rise under head coach Jonathan Gannon, going from 4-13 in his first season to 8-9 last year. The receiving corps still needs a jolt, however, as Arizona avoided making any major splashes in free agency or the draft at the position," Kay wrote. "While the Cardinals have a foundational pass-catcher in Marvin Harrison Jr. to build around for the long haul, adding Hill would give quarterback Kyler Murray the weapons he needs to contend in wide-open NFC West races this coming year and over the next few seasons." Hill, who was named to the NFL's 2010s All-Decade Team, has put together a laundry list of accomplishments since his rookie season in 2016.
