Lauren Sanchez gets piercing in VERY bizarre place before wedding with Jeff Bezos
On Friday, the former journalist, 55, finally tied the knot with Bezos, 61, in an extravagant, days-long celebration of their love in Italy, which included themed parties and the company of 200 A-list guests like Ivanka Trump and Kim Kardashian.
The happy couple got married in a restored amphitheater on the island, as Sánchez wore a high-neck, long sleeve lace Dolce & Gabbana gown that took over 900 hours of atelier to make, per Vogue.
The gown featured a flared skirt, long veil, and a tight-fitting waist, with tons of buttons going up the middle.
'Very Lauren. Sexy, happy, not too serious, not too drama. Elegant but at the same time sensual,' Domenico Dolce told the outlet about the bride's dress.
But the dress wasn't the only star of the show. The Blue Origin astronaut had many looks for the different occasions, including a pajama-themed party on their last night.
Sánchez chose a strapless, dusty pink bustier Atelier Versace gown for the event, with bejeweled detailing all over the body - but it was her secret accessory that really stood out.
The bride had her nails painted in a classic French manicure, but added a fun touch for her new husband, as the manicurist pierced a diamond-encrusted 'B' charm into the long nail on her ring finger.
Newlywed Lauren Sánchez got a piercing in a very unusual place for her Venetian wedding to Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos last weekend - and let's just say she nailed it
Her nail artist, Iram Shelton, wrote in an Instagram post that they decided to add the sweet piercing for their last day of celebrations.
The charm shined in the Venice sun as she paid homage to her new last name.
'Nothing like diamonds at your fingertips,' Shelton wrote in the caption of her post, which showed a close-up of the charm.
Throughout the weekend, Lauren also wore many custom accessories that were a nod to her new last name, like a black rhinestone-encrusted black clutch bag that read, 'Mrs. Bezos' on it in silver gems.
On the morning of her wedding, Sánchez stepped out in a cream, two-piece skirt suit by Dior, adding a personal touch as she wore a brown braided bracelet with diamond charms that read 'LB,' in honor of becoming Lauren Bezos.
But for Sánchez, it's not about the dress or the accessories - at the end of the day, she's just happy to be married to Bezos, who she describes as the love of her life.
'I'm very happy,' she told the outlet.
'More than the dress, I'm happy that I'm getting married and I get to spend my life with my best friend, someone who sees me, someone who adores me, someone who I adore. I am the luckiest woman on the planet,' she shared.
Stylist Lisa Talbot told Daily Mail last week that Sánchez swapped her elegant daytime looks for 'full-on evening drama' in which she unlocked her 'inner Hollywood siren' on the pajama party night.
She told MailOnline: 'The strapless silhouette hugged her figure to perfection, with intricate beadwork and sheer panelling that added both structure and sensuality.
'The bodice, corset-inspired in its fit, gave a nod to classic lingerie styling, while the soft pleated panels through the skirt introduced graceful movement as she stepped onto the boat.
'The combination of sheer inserts and light-catching embellishments gave the dress an ethereal quality glamorous but never overpowering.'
Lisa said that the look was 'the perfect blend of sensual and sophisticated' and serves as a reminder that she 'understands the impact of fashion storytelling, particularly on the global stage.'
She said she believes that Sánchez would've spent much time constructing this look right down to the very final detail, as seen with her glamorous new bag.
Speaking of the 'Mrs Bezos' bag, the stylist added: 'The playful, romantic touch added a charming twist to her otherwise ultra-glamorous ensemble and couldn't have been more fitting for a bride-to-be celebrating the hours after saying 'I do.'
'Paired with sleek, cascading waves and elegant drop earrings, this look was Lauren Sánchez in her fashion prime: confident, unapologetically glamorous, and fully embracing the spotlight.'

I couldn't be happier for you both! 'The BEST NEWS IN THE WORLD. I love you both with all my heart! The perfect couple and dream engagement.' Earlier this year, Eliza told Hello! Magazine how she and Channing were planning to get married and want to do a destination wedding. She shared: 'We feel drawn to Italy, especially somewhere by the ocean — that feels so romantic to us. Spain has that same coastal charm we adore. 'At the same time, Amelia and Greg's wedding in Cape Town was unforgettable, and South Africa will always be home.' How Princess Diana's secret weapon could end William & Harry's feud & be a 'family backbone' for the Sussexes in the UK Her twin sister wed fitness and nutrition guru Greg Mallett in a lavish 2023 ceremony held in Cape Town, South Africa, making Eliza the last of her sisters to walk down the aisle. Eliza and Amelia's eldest sister, Lady Kitty, had an extravagant wedding to billionaire Michael Lewis in Italy. Her 2021 Italian three-day wedding was attended by the likes of Pixie Lott, and saw Kitty wear five breathtaking Dolce & Gabbana gowns. Their brother Louis Spencer, who is heir apparent to Earl Spencer, is not yet married. 9 9 GLAM FAMILY Earlier this year, Princess Diana's three nieces turned heads posing for their first cover shoot as a dazzling trio. Aristocratic sisters Lady Kitty, Lady Amelia, and Lady Eliza looked sensational, posing in Balenciaga and dripping in diamonds from Bvlgari in the new pictures. In a spread for Tatler's March 2025 issue, the blonde beauties opened up about continuing Princess Diana's legacy, including working alongside Prince William with homeless charity Centrepoint. 9 9 During the rare interview, the sisters - who are all signed onto Storm Model Management and are mostly based in London - opened up about motherhood and mental health. The trio spent most of her childhood in South Africa as part of her father's bid to keep her out of the spotlight following the death of her aunt in 1997. However, their ancestral home is the sprawling 13,000-acre Althorp estate in Northamptonshire where Princess Diana is buried. Who are Kitty, Eliza and Amelia's parents? THE stunning women are daughter of former British model Victoria Aitken. Born Catherine Victoria Aitken, she was formerly Victoria Spencer, Viscountess Althorp, Countess Spencer, and now goes by Victoria Aitken. After Victoria divorced Kitty's father Charles, the former countess married South African businessman Jonathan Aitken. The couple had a son, Samuel, in 2003 but subsequently divorced in 2009. Victoria has spoken about struggling with eating disorders in the past, as well as battling drug and alcohol addiction. However, she did not deter her daughter from following in her footsteps as a model. Kitty's father, Charles Spencer, is the younger brother of Princess Diana. He tried to keep his daughter out of the spotlight following the death of her aunt in 1997, so she spent most of her childhood in South Africa. Charles - officially Earl Spencer - is Prince William and Harry 's maternal uncle, and the Queen is his godmother. Earl Spencer has seven children from three marriages. He first wed Victoria Lockwood in 1989 but the marriage was over in 1997 after four children - Kitty, Eliza, Amelia and Louis. His second marriage was to Caroline Freud from 2001 until 2007, and the couple had two children - Edmund and Lara. He is now married to third wife Karen Gordon and the couple welcomed daughter Charlotte Diana in 2012.

Cosy up with classic crime this month: A Case of Life and Limb by Sally Smith, The Magus of Sicily by Philip Gwynne Jones, The Golden Age of Murder by Martin Edwards
A Case of Life and Limb by Sally Smith (Raven Books £16.99, 320pp) Following up on a successful debut novel is tough for any author. Expectations are high but rarely fulfilled. Smith is one of the exceptions. We are once again in the company of Sir Gabriel Ward KC, a scion of the Inner Temple, an exclusive reserve for the legal elite. When mummified body parts start turning up on the doorsteps of leading residents, causing one occupant to die of shock, Gabriel is asked to lead an investigation and stop scandal spilling out to nearby Fleet Street. Meanwhile, our part-time detective has his work cut out representing a music hall singer in a defamation case against a high-born seducer. A brilliant mystery. The Magus of Sicily by Philip Gwynne Jones (Constable £22, 384pp) A small town in Sicily is in festive spirit until a man's body is fished out of the sea. He was a leading psychic, one of a fraternity of fraudsters. A cub reporter on the local newspaper, Nedda Leonardi believes there is more to the case than an accidental drowning. Her unlikely ally is known as the Magus, a gambler and showman who is well-versed in the tricks of the mystic's trade. While Nedda is on the track of a scoop, the Magus is occupied keeping one step ahead of jealous rivals. Philip Gwynne Jones is on a winning streak with his Italian mysteries. While the action has moved from Venice to Sicily, there is no let-up in the tension that keeps us rooted to the page. The Golden Age of Murder is available now from the Mail Bookshop The Golden Age of Murder by Martin Edwards (Collins Crime Club £14.99, 528pp) Focusing on the inter-war period, Edwards draws on his encyclopaedic knowledge of the Golden Age. We are treated to an intriguing profile of Dorothy L. Sayers, a vicar's daughter whose erratic career started in advertising, from which she took extended leave to give birth to an illegitimate child. For Sayers, as for the followers of her urbane detective, Lord Peter Wimsey, crime fiction was an escape from a dismal present. Edwards delves into the often surprising sources of leading authors' creativity. Much of the inspiration came from the Detection Club, bringing together the top professionals of their day. Still a prestigious gathering, it counts Edwards among its members. It would be hard to imagine a better dip-into book for summer.

Love Island winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan have shared a glimpse of their pre-wedding preparations as they get geared up to marry on Friday. The couple, both 27, announced their engagement in April 2024, a year after meeting and falling in love in the Mallorca villa. And taking to their respective Instagram accounts on Thursday, the pair got themselves spruced up for their big day, with Kai seen getting a fresh trim for the occasion. The P.E teacher shared snaps of himself in a barber's chair as his pal gave him a hair cut, writing in his caption: 'Trim completed. Now time to log off for a few days, enjoy life, be present and marry the love of my life.' Meanwhile, social worker Sanam showed off her gorgeous wedding nails on her stories, with her fingernails adorned with pearl and sequin embellishments. The beauty simply wrote alongside her snap: 'Tomorrow', alongside emojis of a bride and groom. Taking to their respective Instagram accounts on Thursday, the pair got themselves spruced up for their big day, with Kai seen getting a fresh trim for the occasion Last week, both the bride and groom to-be shared snaps of their hen and stag dos as they let their hair down with pals ahead of tying the knot. Sanam jetted off to Ibiza with her pals and mum, where they got into the spirit of things of things with different them days including cowgirl, denim and disco. Meanwhile, Kai and his friends had a grand time on their trip, larking around and drinking during their sporty-themed outing. Kai also paid tribute to his future wife ahead of their wedding day as he got her name tattooed on his arm. Last month, Sanam gave an insight into wedding dress shopping as she prepares to marry her fiancé. Trying on a number of dresses at Lotte Rose Bridal, in Bedford, Sanam shared some of her favourites in an Instagram update. Firstly, she tried on an off-the-shoulder lace gown before changing into an A-line dress with a corset top. She captioned the update: 'Part two of trying to find a wedding dress. 'This shop was absolutely stunninnnggg! Let me know in the comments which style/shape you think suits me best!' The couple met on the hit ITV show in March 2023 in the infamous Casa Amor, and came out as the winning couple. The two lovebirds have been going strong ever since, and in April they announced their engagement as Kai got down on one knee while boating in Cambridge. During the romantic proposal in Cambridge, Sanam was dressed in bridal white while Kai opted for a matching coloured jacket. They passionately kissed one another in another lovely photo before celebrating by popping champagne. They recently revealed why their relationship has lasted longer than other couples' relationships from the programme as they took a swipe at their co-stars. Speaking to OK! magazine, the couple explained the sacrifices they have had to make to maintain their relationship. Kai said: 'The difference between Love Island couples and ordinary couples is that there is a lot of pressure on the relationship when you leave the villa. 'What makes Sanam and I different is that you have to decide what you want more: the fame that comes with the show, or the person you're in a relationship with. 'You get invited to parties but we wanted each other more than that lifestyle. We enjoy every moment together and we do things the other person is interested in, too.' The couple are famously humble, with Sanam going straight back into social work after the show, instead of launching a career as an influencer.
