OIC: Israeli Occupation Burn Agricultural Land in 11 West Bank villages
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against Palestinians recorded 998 Palestinian murdered between July 1 and 7, 2025, including (992) murdered in the Gaza Strip alone.
During this period, 762 Palestinians were murdered, and civil defense personnel recovered 7 additional Palestinians from under the rubble. Data on 223 Palestinians who fell earlier in the aggression were also documented, adding this number to the total number of murdered since October 7, 2023, which has reached 59,033. The number of injured over the past seven days has reached 2,991, and 145,226 over the period from October 7, 2023, to July 7, 2025.
According to the OIC Observatory, the occupation forces continued to kill numerous Palestinians among those waiting for aids over the past week. They also bombed a water desalination plant in the al-Rimal neighborhood as part of their deliberate attacks targeting the basic needs of Gaza residents.
They also targeted the Abu Asi School, run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), in the Shati refugee camp, and a school in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood. Meanwhile, the United Nations office in Gaza announced that five school buildings housing displaced persons in the northern Gaza Strip were subjected to Israeli bombing on July 1 and 2, which also killed the director of the Indonesian Hospital and his family.
During that period, fuel ran out at al-Shifa Medical Complex, threatening the lives of 350 kidney failure patients. Nasser Hospital also announced a fuel shortage, threatening the lives of infants due to the incubators' failure. These developments came as Gaza residents live on only 25% of the remaining inhabited land due to the 'Gideon Vehicles' plan, which aims to seize Palestinian land.
In the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds, the occupation army carried out 299 raids on Palestinian areas between July 1 and 7, 2025. These raids included numerous crimes, the most notorious of which was the arrest of 198 Palestinians, including six children, in Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Nablus. The raids also included the storming of a kindergarten in Al-Khalil and the government hospital in Tulkarm.
The demolition of 100 buildings in Jenin camp brought the total number of buildings demolished in the past seven days to 132, including 48 in Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm and 58 in Tulkarm camp. The demolition also included a lathe in Nablus, four agricultural facilities, numerous sheep pens, greenhouses, and mobile homes in Nablus, Tulkarm, and Al-Quds, and retaining walls and a well in Ramallah.

H-Tayea The African Union Commission (AUC) is set to host the 2nd Africa-CARICOM Summit from September 6–7, 2025, at its headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Red Cross condemns Israel 'evacuation' orders in north Gaza as army pounds Gaza City - War on Gaza
The Red Cross condemned the Israeli evacuation order to hospitals and aid groups in north Gaza, calling it "intolerable" as the Israeli army sped up plans to seize Gaza City as part of its plan to reoccupy the strip. Israeli military officials this week informed "medical officials and international organizations in the northern Gaza Strip... to prepare for the evacuation of the population to the southern Gaza Strip," read the statement released by the military. In a statement, the Red Cross warned: "The civilian population in Gaza is living in abhorrent conditions. Further displacement and an intensification in hostilities risk worsening an already catastrophic situation." "With more than 80 percent of Gaza already impacted by evacuation orders, it is unimaginable that civilians could be compelled to move to an even smaller area. Additionally, a large-scale evacuation would create additional risks for civilians, given the prevailing conditions on the ground." "After months of relentless hostilities and repeated displacement, the people in Gaza are utterly exhausted. What they need is not more pressure, but relief. Not more fear, but a chance to breathe. They must have access to the essentials to live in dignity: food, medical and hygiene supplies, clean water, and safe shelter." "Any further intensification of military operations will only deepen the suffering, tear more families apart, and threaten an irreversible humanitarian crisis. The lives of hostages may also be put at risk." "The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reiterates its urgent call for a cessation of hostilities. Under international humanitarian law, the rapid and unimpeded passage of humanitarian assistance must be allowed and facilitated across the Gaza Strip," added the statement. The Israeli move comes amid regional and international condemnation of the Israeli plan to seize Gaza City and ethnically cleanse more than one million Palestinians to the south before occupying the entire strip. The "evacuation" announcement comes after the Israeli military this week approved an offensive to capture Gaza City and ordered the call-up of roughly 60,000 reservists to expand its 22-month-old genocidal war on the strip. Overnight, Israel hammered Gaza City and its outskirts, residents said Thursday. "We are not waiting. We have begun the preliminary actions, and already now, IDF (army) troops are holding the outskirts of Gaza City," said the Israeli military. Ahead of the offensive, the Israeli military said the call-up of the reservists would begin in early September, adding the second phase of operation "Gideon's Chariots" had begun. Gaza City residents described relentless bombardments overnight. "The house shakes with us all night long -- the sound of explosions, artillery, warplanes, ambulances, and cries for help is killing us," one of them, Ahmad al-Shanti, told AFP. "The sound is getting closer, but where would we go?" Another resident, Amal Abdel-Aal, said she watched the heavy strikes on the area, a week after being displaced from her home in Gaza City's Al-Sabra neighbourhood. "No one in Gaza has slept -- not last night, not for a week. The artillery and air strikes in the east never stop. The sky flashes all night long," she added. Gaza civil defence agency spokesman Mahmud Bassal said air strikes and artillery fire overnight targeted areas to the northwest and southeast of Gaza City. Earlier on Thursday, Egypt voiced grave concern over Israel's insistence on pressing ahead with its offensives to seize cities in the Gaza Strip, urging an international act to end the Israeli crimes against Palestinians. 'Egypt is following with deep concern the Israeli government's progress in implementing an offensive plan by the Israeli occupation forces aimed at controlling cities in the Gaza Strip,' read a statement by the Egyptian foreign ministry. Egypt described the Israeli move as an unlawful attempt to consolidate its occupation of Palestinian land and a flagrant violation of international law and humanitarian norms. The statement strongly deplored Israel's escalatory policies and its expansion of occupation over Palestinian lands, whether in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Hamas said that the Israeli army's announcement of the start of 'Operation Gideon's Chariots 2' represents 'a continuation of the genocide that has been ongoing for more than 22 months' in the Gaza Strip. In a statement, the group added that 'the new Israeli aggression shows disregard for the efforts of mediators seeking a ceasefire and prisoner exchange.' The statement stressed that 'Netanyahu is ignoring the mediators' proposal,' proving that 'he is the one obstructing any agreement and is not serious about recovering his captives.' Hamas affirmed that the Israeli assault 'will fail as previous ones have failed and will not achieve its objectives,' adding that 'the occupation of Gaza will not be a picnic.' The group also held Israel and the U.S. administration fully responsible for the consequences of the assault and the destruction of essential infrastructure in Gaza.
