Eiza González Goes Sheer With Gilded Gold Accents in Harris Reed for the 2025 Serpentine Gallery Summer Party
Eiza González joined a bevy of high-profile guests for the 2025 Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London on Tuesday. The event, cohosted by actress Cate Blanchett, celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Serpentine Pavilion in Kensington Gardens, designed by Bangladeshi architect Marina Tabassum this year.
For the special summertime fete, González opted for a sheer dress courtesy of Harris Reed's fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The bias silk gown featured a high neckline and angular short sleeves with sheer black fabric on the bodice and skirt. The silhouette featured a formfitting style, with the skirt flowing slightly from the knees. Running down the bodice and skirt of the dress in sinuous style were hand-painted pieces of gilded gold, adding color contrast and a provocative element to the ensemble.

Reed took to Instagram to share photos from the event, thanking stylist Elizabeth Saltzman 'for the support and love from day one.' Saltzman regularly collaborates with González on her red carpet and special occasion attire. The stylist has also worked with Elizabeth Debicki, Saoirse Ronan and Julia Garner, among others. González's hair was styled by Dayaruci with makeup by Francesca Abrahamovitch.
Reed's fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection made its debut as part of London Fashion Week in February 2025. 'The British American designer toned down his usual palette of jewel tones to focus on black and gold with flecks of red, green or blue in the embroidery details of some pieces,' Hikmat Mohammed wrote in WWD's review of the collection.
'The world is in a tough spot right now and especially the creative [spaces]. So for me, I really used that as fuel to come out with pieces that were really about putting the internal on the external,' Reed said of his designs for the fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection.
Highlights from the collection included moments of minimalism contrasted by 'points of exaggeration — a gigantic wrap-around hoop skirt with a bralette that had antennas; a tailored bomber jacket with cutouts at the breast revealing little embroidered flowers, and a perfectly constructed cage dress that was a highlight of an uneven collection.'
The 2025 Serpentine Gallery Summer Party was held on Tuesday at the Serpentine Pavilion in London, cohosted by Cate Blanchett. Lily Allen, Georgia May Jagger, Rebecca Vallance, Kelly Osbourne, Harris Reed, Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer were among the attendees.

Global ticket touting operations exposed ahead of major UK gigs such as Oasis
As Cardiff gears up for a summer filled with top music acts, an investigation by BBC Cymru Wales has uncovered major ticket touting operations across the world. Reporter Steffan Powell delves into the shadowy realm of ticket touts in the upcoming programme 'The Great Ticket Rip-Off', which aired on BBC One Wales tonight (Thursday, June 26). The show uncovers how ticket touts are utilising vast networks of individuals abroad, dubbed "ticket pullers", to mass-purchase tickets for big UK gigs such as Oasis and Taylor Swift the moment they're available, aiming to resell them at hiked up prices. The BBC's investigation claimed that these ticket pullers may employ illegal automated software and multiple identities to acquire tickets, potentially constituting fraud. For our free daily briefing on the biggest issues facing the nation, sign up to the Wales Matters newsletter here. READ MORE: Air India crash investigators reveal new breakthrough theory on cause of tragedy READ MORE: Foreign Office updates travel advice for countries popular with UK tourists including Dubai This revelation comes just as Oasis is about to kick off their reunion tour in Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4. Last summer, many fans of the Gallagher brothers were frustrated as they were left empty-handed after enduring long online queues without securing tickets for the sold-out tour. You can read more about fan struggles here. In an undercover segment for the programme, Steffan Powell impersonated a prospective ticket tout and captured audio of a Pakistani ticket pulling company boss, who claimed he could assemble a team of pullers capable of purchasing hundreds of concert tickets. Identifying himself as Ali, the individual bragged about his team's success in obtaining numerous tickets for Taylor Swift's Eras tour the previous year, among other significant events, and suggested that touts are raking in "millions" through such schemes. Ali boasted: "I think we had 300 Coldplay tickets, 330, something like that. And then we had Oasis in the same week - we did great" Ali further revealed his awareness of a UK tout who earned over £500,000 last year from reselling tickets, with others raking in millions. A separate ticket reseller from India discussed their strategy on bypassing UK laws, indicating: "If I'm sitting in your country and running my operations in your country, then it is completely illegal. We do not participate in illegal things because actually we are outside of the UK." Ticketing industry veteran Reg Walker described to the programme his infiltration of a covert online group that allegedly racks up thousands of tickets using dubious methods. Walker illuminated the tactics used by such groups to amass 100,000 "queue passes", thereby sidestepping the virtual queue systems set up for concert ticket purchases. He elaborated: "The equivalent is 100,000 people all of a sudden turning up and pushing in front of you in the queue," and expounded on how this impedes true fans from acquiring tickets, "So now you've gone from first in the queue to 100,001. This is the perfect example of how touts block genuine fans out from the ability to buy tickets." The UK Government is plotting fresh measures against the operations of touts, with a spokesperson stating: "We have consulted on a range of measures, including a price cap on ticket resales, as we aim to better protect fans and support the growth of the UK's world leading live events and sport sectors." Scams & Scandals: The Great Ticket Rip-Off is now available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

Denis Villeneuve Has Wanted to Direct a James Bond Movie for Years — GeekTyrant
It was recently reported that Denis Villeneuve will officially be stepping into the world of James Bond and direct the next movie. The filmmaker has been chasing this iconic franchise for over a decade. For fans of his meticulous, visually-driven style in Dune , Blade Runner 2049 , and Sicario , this next chapter makes perfect sense. Villeneuve has long dreamed of directing a Bond film, and now, with the torch passed from longtime franchise shepherd Barbara Broccoli to Amazon MGM Studios, he's finally getting his chance. Villeneuve has never been subtle about his Bond ambitions. All the way back in 2015, while promoting Sicario , he told ComingSoon: 'I was raised with James Bond. I love James Bond movies. I would love to do a James Bond movie one day. Action is very cinematic. I'm not someone that loves dialogue – I am someone that loves movement. Action, if it's well done, can be very poetic and meaningful.' In 2017, he revealed he'd already had talks with the Bond camp, but things didn't line up due to his commitment to Dune . He told ThePlaylist: 'I had some contact and the thing is that I'm busy right now.' Even in 2021, as Dune was dominating conversation, he was still vocal about wanting his shot behind the wheel of the Aston Martin. On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he said: 'I would deeply love to one day make a James Bond movie. It's a character that I've been with — like everybody — since my childhood. I have massive affection for Bond. It would be a big challenge for people to try and reboot it.' 'It's true that it would be a dream to do 007. I don't know if such a thing would happen, but it would be a privilege. At the end of the day, that would be pure cinematic joy.' Now that dream is real. Villeneuve will helm the next Bond film, though he won't be working with Daniel Craig, who he once called the 'ultimate James Bond.' Casting is still up in the air, though rumors have swirled around Dune 's Timothée Chalamet, especially following Amazon's announcement. Despite being locked into production on Dune: Messiah , which is set to release December 2026, Villeneuve still found a way to make space for 007. And he's treating it like sacred ground. 'Some of my earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007. I grew up watching James Bond films with my father, ever since Dr. No with Sean Connery. I'm a die-hard Bond fan. To me, he's sacred territory. I intend to honor the tradition and open the path for many new missions to come. This is a massive responsibility, but also, incredibly exciting for me and a huge honor.' Producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman echoed that passion, saying: 'Denis Villeneuve has been in love with James Bond movies since he was a little boy. It was always his dream to make this movie, and now it's ours, too. We are lucky to be in the hands of this extraordinary filmmaker.' Given his eye for scale, atmosphere, and emotional gravitas, Villeneuve might just be the fresh perspective Bond needs.

'Our Mick has passed, my heart just hit the ground. He has left us with exceptional songs and memories,' Rodgers wrote. 'He was my friend, my songwriting partner, an amazing and versatile guitarist who had the greatest sense of humour. Our last conversation a few days ago we shared a laugh but it won't be our last. There are many memories of Mick that will create laughter.' Drummer Simon Kirke shared his own tribute to the band's post, calling Ralph 'a dear friend, a wonderful songwriter, and an exceptional guitarist,' and simply adding, 'We will miss him deeply.' The news of Ralphs' death comes just two months after Bad Company was announced as one of the inductees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Class of 2025, which the band called a 'fitting tribute to the band's enduring influence' in their memorial post for the guitarist. The band will be formally inducted to the Hall of Fame on Nov. 8. Bad Company's debut, self-titled 1974 album earned the band their first and only No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. The band's debut single 'Can't Get Enough' reached a No. 5 peak on the Billboard Hot 100, which remains their highest-charting song on the list to date. Mott the Hoople, meanwhile, earned their highest-ranking track on the Hot 100 in November 1972, when the David Bowie-written 'All the Young Dudes' reached No. 37 on the all-genre chart.
