Realme's battery monster GT 7 series gets official global launch date
The GT 7 will land in IceSense Black and IceSense Blue, while the GT 7T will come in a bold yellow finish.

One of the standout features is the IceSense Graphene cooling system, which Realme says offers better heat dissipation than traditional copper setups. According to the brand, it can reduce the chipset temperature by up to 6°C with full 360-degree thermal coverage.
Realme has already flipped the switch on the GT 7's official product page – at least in India – but it doesn't show any real specs yet. Still, since these phones are already available in China, we've got a pretty solid idea of what is coming. While there may be a few regional tweaks, the core specs should stay the same.
So, what are we looking at? A 6.78-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a buttery smooth 144Hz refresh rate, for starters. It is powered by a massive 7,200mAh battery, which is way bigger than what you will find in most phones today. You also get IP69 water and dust resistance, which puts it a step above the usual mid-range durability.
On the camera front, expect a 50 MP dual rear setup and a 16 MP front snapper. Under the hood, it will likely be rocking the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, paired with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM, and storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB or even 1 TB.
In China, pricing starts at around $355, but don't be surprised if the global pricing is higher. We will have to wait for the Paris event to know just how much more.

Honor Magic V5 spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version
The Honor Magic V5 has surfaced in the Geekbench database with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, specifically the so-called 'Leading Version'. RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro's launch date officially announced, chipset revealed
RedMagic's Nova tablet launched last year and now the brand is almost ready to introduce a new tablet, which may or may not be the Nova's successor. Its name approximately translates from Chinese as RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro, and it's going to get official on June 11. On the back there's a confirmation of the fact that this tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, as well as the fact that it has a vapor chamber. With it being very much aimed at gamers, neither of those things are surprising. More RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro official images Perhaps more so is its size - while RedMagic hasn't officially made any claims pertaining to this, in the 'robot hand' shots below you can see that it seems to be quite small, at least if those 'robot hands' are the size of a human's. So we may be looking at a small-ish gaming tablet powered by the current king of Android SoCs, and that's going to be a very intriguing offering for sure. The iPhone 17 and 17 Air may have 120Hz displays, but without the ProMotion features
We've been hearing for a while now that the whole iPhone 17 family will have 120Hz displays and everyone assumed this means ProMotion – but that may not be the case. To be fair, every display from Apple with higher than 60Hz refresh rate has been branded 'ProMotion', so it was a reasonable assumption. However, there is more to ProMotion than just the top refresh rate frequency – it has a wide range of frequency options, ranging from 10Hz to 120Hz on the iPhone 13 Pro. The lower limit was dropped to 1Hz with the iPhone 14 Pro generation. ProMotion on the iPhone 13 Pro Some high refresh rate displays only offer a few options, e.g. 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. Presumably, this will be the case for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max should have LTPO panels that can save power on static content by going below 60Hz - this is especially useful in Always-On Display mode. AOD isn't available on non-Pro iPhones and it's not clear whether that will change with the 17-series. LTPO isn't that expensive these days and can even be found on some mid-rangers. Still, we're just glad to see that Apple is ready to leave 60Hz displays in the past where they belong. That may not be entirely true - it's not clear whether the iPhone 17e will be included in the 120Hz upgrade. Remember, the 'e' phones will be yearly releases and a new one is coming in early 2026.
