Scotland holds a lot of meaning to the Prince and Princess of Wales. The couple met when they were both students at the University of St. Andrews in the country. Prince William fell for his future wife when she was walking in a fashion show wearing a sheer outfit. They became flatmates and pursued a relationship where Prince William proposed in 2009. They two married in Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011.
The news comes after William made the shocking move to transition to his late-mother Diana's lawyers. The Prince of Wales has been regularly using his father's lawyers Harbottle & Lewis and its partner, Gerrard Tyrrell. Harbottle & Lewis has also represented the Royal family for decades. William made the move to Mishcon de Reya, which represented Princess Diana in her divorce from Charles a year before her accidental death. 'William wanted to strike out on his own,' a source tells the Daily Mail, who broke this news. 'He did not want to continue using his father's lawyers. It's as simple as that. He wants to be his own man.' While the law firm did represent Diana in her divorce, the company also specializes in dispute resolution, private client & family law, real estate, reputation protection, and innovation & technology.
However, there isn't a thing to be worried about for the state of Prince William and Kate Middleton's marriage. Kate Middleton returned to public duties after she announced her remission after her cancer diagnosis and thanked her husband for his continuous support. The Scotland trip marks Kate Middleton's first overnight trip after her cancer diagnosis.

Where Is Trooping the Colour, One of the Royal Family's Biggest Annual Events?

Trooping the Colour is one of the British royal family's most prominent traditions—and it's happening this Sunday. Also known as the King's Birthday Parade, the celebration will be held in London and most of the royals are expected to be in attendance. Last year, King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Catherine participated, as well as all of William's children: George, Charlotte, and Louis. The celebration takes place in the form of a parade, capped off with a fly-by from the Royal Air Force. Here's everything you need to know about the route and how to watch it live—from London or anywhere else. Trooping the Colour begins at Horses Guard Parade, the ceremonial parade ground in London's St. James Park. It's the official entrance to St. James's—the high end commercial area—and Buckingham Palace, dating back to the 18th century. Per the Royal Parks, the area was designed by William Kent, the then-Chief Architect to George II. The parade includes 1,400 officers and soldiers, plus two hundred horses and over four hundred musicians from ten bands, according to the U.K. Household Division. Prince William, who is honorary Colonel of the Welsh Guards, is expected to ride horseback in the parade, alongside his aunt, Princess Anne, and uncle, Prince Edward. Traditionally, after leaving Horses Guard Parade, the procession continues down the mall, where the King rides his horse to Buckingham Palace, leading all of his troops. Charles led the procession on horseback in 2023 but last year, after his cancer diagnosis, opted to ride in the parade and review the troops from a carriage, alongside Queen Camilla. This year, he will do the same, riding in the parade in a coach. This change has precedent. According to People, Queen Elizabeth switched from horseback to a carriage back in 1987, when she was 60. Princess Kate, plus her children, usually ride in a coach, as well. The parade will run alongside St. James Park and end at Buckingham Palace. From there, the troops will return to the barracks and the King will join his family members on the palace balcony, where they will all watch a fly-past from the Royal Air Force. If you're in London, the public can watch the parade from the stands at Horses Guard Parade by applying for tickets online. Otherwise, the BBC usually livestreams the event on YouTube. And the skipper of his boat, Eric Haagh, 36, said: "William was a good sailor but Kate pushed us around into a bad position. She did very well. Kate Middleton Steps Out in Heels Despite Museum's Dress Code Advice: 'She Is a Pro'

Kate Middleton wore a pair of heels at the new V&A East Storehouse in East London despite the museum's recommendation that guests wear "flat shoes" while visiting Known for her signature style, Kate has never shied away from stilettos 'She is a pro! She dealt with that!' Tristram Hunt, director of the V&A tells PEOPLEKate Middleton preferred to keep it chic with her go-to stilettos on her latest royal outing. The Princess of Wales, 43, visited the new V&A East Storehouse in East London on Tuesday, June 10, where she arrived dressed in a royal blue suit and a pair of sleek black heels. While Kate looked elegant in her outfit, her footwear didn't technically fit the dress code at the storehouse, which is a branch of the Victoria and Albert Museum. "We recommend wearing practical clothing and flat shoes," the V&A East Storehouse's website reads. "The metal grid flooring is not suitable for stilettos or kitten heels." Kate confidently navigated the visit in her sleek heels, which marked her first public royal engagement since returning from a half-term break with children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7. Speaking to PEOPLE following Kate's outing, Tristram Hunt, the director of the V&A, said of Kate's chosen footwear: 'She is a pro! She dealt with that!' The visit also aligned with Kate's personal interest in art; she graduated from the University of St Andrews with a degree in art history in 2005. 'It went really well. She was really really focused on the objects, it is really impressive," Hunt continued. 'She had a super energy. She was very energetic and focussed. We last saw her about two years ago," he added." She retains this great passion and interest in creativity and making and design. It was wonderful to be able to host her.' While Kate's trip to the V&A East Storehouse went off without a hitch on Tuesday, she wasn't so lucky while wearing heels during a visit to a new addiction treatment center in Wickford back in 2018. At the time, the princess — who was seven months pregnant — got one of her black heels stuck in a metal drain. Kate kept her sense of humor despite the snafu, and laughed as she pulled her foot out of the grate and greeted staff from the Action on Addiction Community Treatment center. Heels are a staple of Kate's wardrobe. She's bravely worn them while walking on grass at one of Prince William's polo matches, and took workout style to new heights when she wore heels to the gym while visiting the Coach Core program in Essex. Can't get enough of PEOPLE's Royals coverage? to get the latest updates on Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and more! As much as the princess loves a good heel, she admitted she was relieved to take a brief break from her go-to shoe style while attending an outing with the Scouts at their headquarters outside of London in 2019. While she planted a sapling oak at Gilwell Park during her visit, she remarked, "Normally I have to do this in high heels, this is much easier!" Read the original article on People
