Marcus Rashford is closing in on a loan move to Barcelona and the Manchester United star will have to follow some strict rules if he is to succeed under Hansi Flick. Rashford has been frozen out at Old Trafford and is hoping to get back to his best at Barcelona.

The La Liga giants have agreed to sign him on loan with an option to buy and he could prove an excellent addition to a side that enjoyed great success in Flick's first campaign. Barcelona won a domestic treble last season, lifting the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.

And Barcelona's success came after Flick implemented 10 strict rules that he expects every member of his squad to follow, according to Spanish publication AS. The report states that Flick has demanded that each player arrives for training at least 90 minutes early, with the German often the first person at the training ground.

There is also a daily weigh-in to help keep track of the squad's fitness levels, while the entire squad are required to eat food prepared by nutritionist Silvia Tremoleda at the club's Ciutat Esportiva canteen.
Players are also required to take part in a warm-up session on the morning of a game, something that was reportedly scrapped under previous boss Xavi after complaints from the squad.
Flick also demands that his players meet at the team hotel ahead of every game, with the 60-year-old said to be keen to 'control every detail and avoid unpleasant surprises'. He has also scrapped late-night flights after away games to prioritise player recovery.
Training under Flick is very tough, though, with Barcelona implementing long and intense training sessions that last around an hour and a half. He has also scrapped the fines system that was in place under Xavi, trusting his players to hold themselves to account.
It is noted that Flick typically restricts his players to just one day off a week, with the manager demanding they give him his all. He also tries to maintain a professional relationship with the squad 'based on respect and commitment', believing that there should be a clear line between manager and player.

And Flick has already made it clear that he is a fan of Rashford, having described him as a "fantastic player" when asked about a potential move for the winger back in May. "This is what we have talked about with the club," Flick said.
"In the last matches maybe we did not have a lot of options in that position… so we have to bring more options to the team and more quality. This is the job from Deco, is clear, and I will support him.
"I don't want to speak about players which are not in my team, but of course Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford are fantastic players. I like them and we'll see what happens."
