Paul Robertson, Chairman of the Alloa Saints, expressed his gratitude to Allanwater Homes, by saying: 'Having a regular committed sponsor and board takes away the uncertainty of not knowing how new kit will be provided. Allanwater Homes continuing support has gone above and beyond what we could ever have hoped for.'
'We had a great season last year, our 22nd successful year since the club was founded. We continue to grow and attract more local youngsters to play football, keep fit and have fun.'
Paul finished by saying that the Saints had raised funds for themselves by carrying out a series of fundraising walks throughout May, raising in excess of £4000, and were now looking forward to the Alan McGillivray Memorial Football Festival, taking place on the 21st and 22nd of June and 9/10 August.
In all, the Club expect to see in excess of 140 teams descend on West End Park during the four day festival which is sponsored by local company, Sports Markings Scotland, who will be marking out all the pitches for the event. The Club are looking forward to raising funds over the four days for two great charities, Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, and Forth Valley First responders.
Lauren McNair, Development Sales Manager at Oaktree Gardens, said: 'It was our pleasure to welcome Paul and the Alloa Saints to Oaktree Gardens. The strips look fantastic, with the children wearing them with pride. The sponsorship of the Alloa Saints is one of our longest running initiatives, and we are delighted to see the club flourish and grow.'
'We're looking forward to a very busy summer, with plans afoot to hold a Community Event at Oaktree Gardens in August. We want to celebrate our twenty years here, and continue to attract many more local families to settle here.'
'We're proud of the community that's taken root at Oaktree Gardens over the past 20 years. With our latest phase now under way, we look forward to welcoming even more families to this vibrant part of Alloa.'

Jake Paul breaks silence on controversial Gervonta Davis fight
The YouTuber-turned-boxer's second fight in 2025 has been confirmed and social media sensation was quick to have his say online following the announcement Jake Paul has made his feelings clear after his showdown with lightweight champion Gervonta Davis was announced. The pair are expected to go head-to-head on November 15 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The news was posted on the official Netflix Turkiye X account before it was quickly taken down. Ring Magazine reporter Mike Coppinger later confirmed the news. In a post uploaded to X - formerly known as Twitter - he wrote: "Jake Paul will face Gervonta Davis on Nov. 15 at Atlanta's State Farm Arena in an exhibition on Netflix, sources confirm to @ringmagazine. Talks for Paul to face Anthony Joshua collapsed over network issues. Paul's last fight took place at 200 pounds while Davis is a champion at 135." The news quickly sent boxing fans into frenzy. And now, Paul has had his say. "Gervonta who has been disrespecting my name for too long," he wrote. "His nickname might be Tank, but I'm an FPV drone and I'm about to disable tiny boy. Yes, he's one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds. First, I am going to kill David, then I will go on to slaughter Goliath." Paul's last fight took place back in June when he took on former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Despite failing to get the knock, the YouTuber-turned-boxer scored an impressive win on points despite a late flurry from the Mexican. The 28-year-old's return came seven months after beating Mike Tyson. After a very stop-start 2025, the 'Problem Child' is hoping to stay active in the ring. It seemed likely that Anthony Joshua and Paul were set to fight next year. The American has continuously called for a clash with 'AJ.' Earlier this month, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn revealed there was a "very real" chance of the fight happening. As well as that, Paul's business partner Nakisa Bidarian confirmed that a fight looked set to take place in early 2026. "I think we're looking at it happening at the start of 2026. It's public that AJ was taking a little time away, I think he had a little surgery. So once he's ready, and once Jake is ready, we're going to squarely focus on that," he said. "It's a fight that Jake wants to do, and that's a discussion we've had at length, and he feels very confident about where he is in his career and his chances of upsetting Anthony Joshua." However, a fight between the pair fell through. Paul's opponent, Davis, was expected to rematch Lamont Roach after their controversial draw earlier this year, but the two teams have now seemingly moved on. Roach even took a swipe at his rival after posting a couple of duck emojis online after Tank's clash with the 'Problem Child' was made official. The social media sensation revealed back in May, Paul claimed that he was close to securing a fight with Davis at 195lbs before negotiations fell through. Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Paul remarked: "That was on the one yard as well, but he has to rematch Lamont Roach. "He wants to get that back. Then we will be back in discussions with Mr. Gervonta. But this is the nature of boxing, you have massive fights on the one-yard line and then they fall through." While Davis is a whopping five stone lighter than his foe, Paul revealed in May that it would be sanctioned as an exhibition bout. Paul competes at cruiserweight (200lbs) - despite his heavyweight clash with Tyson - and he even offered to slim down to 195lbs to take on Davis - who is naturally a super lightweight (140lbs). The 28-year-old stated that the fight would be contested over 10 three-minute rounds with no restrictions on the rules. "I never really thought Tank was that good, it just took the right fighter to pick him apart to be honest," Paul added. "Someone who had high activity and wasn't afraid of his power. So, I always saw so many holes in his game, to me it wasn't that surprising that someone finally gave him some good work."

Jake Paul has already revealed rules for Gervonta Davis fight
The 'Problem Child' is set to take on the lightweight king in an exhibition showdown later this year and Paul has already revealed the rules for the clash Jake Paul previously revealed the rules for a potential showdown with Gervonta Davis - with his comments now resurfacing after their fight was confirmed. The YouTuber-turned-boxer had been tipped to fight Anthony Joshua next year and even revealed that the clash would take place at Wembley Stadium. Joshua was handed a real blow on Wednesday afternoon after the official Netflix Turkiye account revealed that Paul will be taking on 'Tank' Davis on November 15 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. That said, the post was quickly deleted before it was later confirmed by Ring Magazine. Earlier this year, Paul claimed that a fight between him and Davis was close to being made official. Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Paul remarked: "That was on the one yard as well, but he has to rematch Lamont Roach. "He wants to get that back. Then we will be back in discussions with Mr. Gervonta. But this is the nature of boxing, you have massive fights on the one-yard line and then they fall through." Many are scratching their heads as to how the fight could possibly go ahead seeing that Davis is five stone lighter than his rival. Paul revealed back in May that it would be sanctioned as an exhibition bout. The 28-year-old - primarily a cruiserweight - moved back down from heavyweight in his last fight - a decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Davis, meanwhile, is naturally a super lightweight (140lbs), and would have to bulk up as much as possible. The 28-year-old social media sensation confirmed the rules, stating: 'It would be an exhibition, 10 three-minute rounds. No restrictions, just the fact we couldn't actually get it professionally sanctioned.' When asked what weight the clash would be contested at, the 'Problem Child' replied: "195." Paul added: "I never really thought Tank was that good, it just took the right fighter to pick him apart to be honest. Someone who had high activity and wasn't afraid of his power. So, I always saw so many holes in his game, to me it wasn't that surprising that someone finally gave him some good work." Paul's older brother Logan famously fought Floyd Mayweather back in 2021, and reporter Mike Coppinger believes fans could see something similar in November in terms of the rules. In a post uploaded to X - formerly known as Twitter - he wrote: "When Floyd Mayweather faced Jake's brother Logan in an exhibition, Mayweather couldn't weigh more than 160 while Logan was capped at 190. Would expect some similar exhibition rules for weigh in here." In a separate tweet, he recapped the huge breaking news, posting: "Gervonta Davis was slated for a title fight rematch with Lamont Roach in August while Jake Paul was in talks for a major step-up against Anthony Joshua, the former heavyweight champion. Instead, they will meet each other in what amounts to a show that will no doubt do big business, but is less fighting than it is entertainment given the weight disparity and exhibition rules."

Jake Paul's next fight announced in deleted tweet - and it's not Anthony Joshua
Jake Paul seemingly looks set to return to the boxing ring in November against a world class fighter - but it won't be against Anthony Joshua Jake Paul 's next fight was accidentally leaked by Netflix before the streaming service quickly deleted the post. The YouTuber-turned-boxer returned to the ring back in June for his first fight since defeating Mike Tyson last November. Paul took on former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr - and cruised to a decision victory. The 28-year-old is now hoping to stay busy and it seems as if his next fight is set. Following his win over Chavez Jr, the American called out several fighters in his post-fight interview, including cruiserweight world champions Gilberto Ramirez and Badou Jack as well as Tommy Fury, Anthony Joshua and Gervonta Davis. It looked likely that a showdown between Paul and Joshua would take place after boxing promoter Eddie Hearn revealed there is a "very real" chance of the dust-up happening early next year. However, Joshua has been handed a major blow after the official Netflix Turkiye account revealed that Paul will be taking on 'Tank' Davis on November 15 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The social media post was live for merely minutes before it was quickly taken down. That said, many fans were quick to spot and screenshot the post. Davis was expected to rematch Lamont Roach later this year. The pair went head-to-head back in March and fought to a majority draw, but many believed as if Roach did enough to emerged victorious after he was wrongfully denied a knockdown in round nine. Promoter PBC were hoping to stage the sequel on August 16 in Las Vegas. It was then expected to to be pushed back by one to two weeks. However, it seems as if both teams have moved on - with Roach himself refusing to wait any longer as he looks to get back into the ring soon. He told BoxingScene: "The rematch don't look like it's happening, just put it out there and be transparent with everyone — it's the only question I get asked 10 times a day, maybe more. As far as my future, we moving on, can't just sit around and drag our feet. There has been some recent news, his charges got dismissed in Florida."
