Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Eyes of Wakanda , a interesting new animated series that dives deep into the ancient history of the Black Panther universe.
Arriving on Disney+ August 1, this four-episode limited series is executive produced by Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and expands the mythology of Wakanda through an entirely new lens.
Set long before the events of T'Challa's reign, the series follows a group of elite Wakandan warriors known as the Hatut Zeraze as they travel the globe retrieving Vibranium artifacts stolen by enemies of the nation.
According to Marvel, 'In this globe-trotting adventure, the heroes must carry out dangerous missions to retrieve Vibranium artifacts from the enemies of Wakanda. They are the Hatut Zaraze and this is their story.'
The voice cast includes Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Anika Noni Rose, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, and more.
This new series marks the latest return to Wakanda since Black Panther: Wakanda Forever , which introduced the underwater civilization of Talokan and revisited familiar faces like Shuri, Nakia, and Okoye. Wakandan characters have continued to play a role across the MCU, most recently in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier with Florence Kasumba's Ayo.
Todd Harris directs the series, stepping up from his previous work as a storyboard artist on both Black Panther films. He's joined by executive producers Coogler, Kevin Feige, Brad Winderbaum, Louis D'Esposito, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt.
The series will deliver a blend action, world-building, and cultural depth in a way that fans of Wakanda have come to expect. You can watch the trailer below and get ready to uncover the legacy that shaped the world's most secretive and powerful nation.

Magic: The Gathering Unveils Spider-Man Cards — GeekTyrant

Over the weekend, at San Diego Comic-Con, Magic: The Gathering showed off a bunch of cards from the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man set. The set, titled Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man , will release globally on September 26 and is sure to bring a lot of joy to players everywhere. Looking at the new cards and art with my limited knowledge of Magic (I just played and won my first ever Commander game over the weekend), I think the art for the five basic lands is really cool, I like the classic comic art cards for collection purposes (but hate them for actual play due to readability), think it's absolute madness the number of variant arts for the same card (Amazing Spider-Man has four artworks, Ultimate Spider-Man has three artworks, etc.) instead of just using those artworks for different cards, and just think this sounds like fun for some players and collectors. Which of the revealed cards are you most hyped for? If you are hyped for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man , you can look forward to more previews and details that will start swinging out the first week of September. What are you hoping to see from the upcoming set?

The long-awaited 14th season of the animated series will have a huge time jump, wherein a now-retired Hank and Peggy return to Arden, Texas, from Saudi Arabia. Despite Dale, Boomhauer and Bill welcoming them home, the pair seems to be struggling with some of the changes in Arden since they left, including fancier beer, all-gender restrooms and rideshare apps. Bobby seems to be thriving in Dallas as a chef for a Japanese and German fusion restaurant. Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Stephen Root, Pamela Adlon, and Lauren Tom are all reprising their roles in the King of the Hill reboot. Original series co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels both serve as executive producers on the show. All 10 episodes of the new King of the Hill season will drop on Hulu this Monday, August 4. YAHOO POLL: Has Fantastic Four revived the MCU for you?

The Fantastic Four: The First Steps had its world premiere on Monday (21 July) night and the first reactions to the film were generally positive. The film was under immense pressure and expectations, no doubt due to its troubled cinematic history. Its first iteration under 20th Century Fox in 2005 was a flop. A reboot in 2015, also under 20th Century Fox, reimagined Marvel's First Family as a dark, gritty comic book film but it didn't fare better either. However, Marvel can finally breathe a sigh of relief as, despite a steep drop at the box office in its second weekend, the film is sitting well with critics. If anything, the fact that it retained the top position in the second weekend is a testament to the strength of the film. Fantastic Four has garnered an 86 per cent rating with critics and a 92 per cent rating with audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. If it matters, Fantastic Four scored higher than James Gunn's Superman – which was released earlier in July. So, we want to hear from you – Has Fantastic Four revived the MCU for you?
