The regional stops of the Rivals Camp Series are in the books with the Rivals Five-Star at the Indianapolis Colts' practice facility coming up later this month.
Today, we continue our look at the best players at each position through the regional events with the defensive linemen.

JALEN BREWSTER - Dallas
Brewster was explosive playing multiple positions on the interior defensive line in Dallas. He was just as effective on the interior as out wide. The four-star prospect plays downhill with strong hands and a high motor. Brewster is bendy and versatile plus provides major pass rush juice from the interior defensive line.

He's one of the top prospects in the country in the 2027 class with more than 30 scholarship offers.
ASHARRI CHARLES - Miami
The Venice (Fla.) High School standout has built up his resume as a combo rusher over the years because he's savvy against the pass and stout against the run with a good motor.
The ceiling has never looked better for the four-star, especially as he carries more bulk on his 6-foot-3 frame without any signs of slowing down. He won in Miami against fellow Power Four prospects with quickness, including a pretty inside spin move and a smooth dip on the outside, so as the power becomes permanent a full package could soon be at his disposal.
JAKE KREUL - Miami
Kreul can beat blockers in such a variety of ways. He gets easy early leverage off of the snap because of his elite first-step. That edge bending ability and elite first step has most offensive tackles bailing upon the snap of the ball.

But Kreul has really progressed with his counter game, overall strength and hand technique. He's the complete package as a pass rusher.
JAREYLAN MCCOY - Atlanta
McCoy gave opposing tackles in Atlanta fits all day rushing from a two-point stance and also with a hand in the dirt. The Mississippi blue-chipper has length and can win with either speed or power, and continues to build up an array of pass-rush moves to keep tackles off-balance.
McCoy had some of the best reps of anyone in the Rivals Camp Series at the DL position.
KHARY WILDER - Los Angeles
Wilder not only was super impressive in Los Angeles during one-on-one reps using speed and power to his advantage but his measurables were incredible with an 81-inch wingspan. You'll certainly hear about his measurables again once it's his time for the NFL Draft.

The Gardena (Calif.) Serra product got a major rankings bump after his performance where he displayed speed, power and toughness along with great measurables. And at 6-foot-4 and 256 pounds, Wilder also has a frame where he could easily add 20 more pounds and keep his dominant speed.
Ohio State nabbed one of the country's best with him.

With offseason programs now behind us, let's take a position-by-position look at where things stand for the Indianapolis Colts, starting with quarterbacks. The Colts brought in Daniel Jones during free agency to compete with Anthony Richardson for the starting role. As Shane Steichen had said earlier this offseason, the plan was for the two to split the starting reps, and ultimately, the most consistent performer throughout the summer would be named the Week 1 starter. To help find more consistency after completing just 47% of his passes last season, Richardson has prioritized working on his footwork this offseason. For a quarterback, this is where accuracy often begins. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury for Richardson early on in OTAs stopped that competition from happening for the time being. He would miss most of OTAs and minicamp, which allowed Jones to take all of the first-team reps. It's been reported that rest is what Richardson's shoulder needs, and the good news is that multiple NFL insiders have said that he should be ready to go for training camp. However, even if Richardson is ready to go on Day 1, that doesn't mean he will be a full-go, with Steichen mentioning that there will have to be a ramp-up period for him upon his return. Indianapolis Colts "very pleased" with Daniel Jones' performance Jones, meanwhile, is adjusting to a new team and offensive system. But helping to expedite that learning curve is his NFL experience, having made 69 career starts, and the opportunity to get quite a few more reps with the starters over the last few weeks. "Very pleased with what we got right now," Steichen said of Jones' play after Thursday's practice, via Locked on Colts. "He's been doing a hell of a job. Really smart football player. Learned the offense very quickly. Making really good decisions out there through OTAs. Obviously want to carry that over to training camp, but he's done a really good job. Great command of the huddle, ultimate pro." Jones' performance during offseason programs and Richardson having missed time aren't going to determine who wins the starting quarterback job. However, Richardson is playing from behind a bit, simply due to the fact that he's missed out on quite a few reps, and when he's back, he'll have to make up ground quickly. What about rookie quarterback Riley Leonard? With Richardson sidelined, it's not only Jones who has gotten more reps, but Leonard has as well. As should be expected with a rookie quarterback who was taken on Day 3, Leoanrd's results have been "mixed," as the Indy Star's Joel Erickson put it. Erickson specifically noted that underthrown balls have been an issue for Leonard. With Jones and Richardson ahead of Leonard on the depth chart, the rookie will have the opportunity to grow and develop this season as the likely third quarterback on the 53-man roster. The Colts had shown a lot of interest in Leonard during the pre-draft process, and one aspect of his game that stood out to them, as area scout Mike Lacy recalled after the draft, was that he had some of his best games during Notre Dame's run through the College Football Playoffs. 'He's got the physical ability to be much more than a No. 3," Lacy said after the draft via the Indy Star. "I think that's kind of what he's going to be coming in as. He's going to find his way. He's going to learn, be a sponge, soak things up and be ready to go. We're excited about what he can be, that's for sure.' Second-year player Jason Bean seems to be slotted in as the clear fourth quarterback option on the depth chart this spring. The Colts also had Desmond Ridder in for a tryout during minicamp, but no signing seems imminent.

Lakers insider chimes in on huge three-way trade idea suggested by fan The Los Angeles Lakers need two main additional pieces this summer: a starting-level center and a two-way wing who is at least a 3-and-D player. They have limited trade assets and very little salary cap flexibility, and therefore, addressing both needs will be difficult. But perhaps where there is a will, there is a way. If the Lakers get creative enough in trade discussions, and if at least one other team is willing to do them a solid, perhaps they will significantly buttress their roster. On a recent episode of "Buha's Block," Lakers beat writer Jovan Buha invited insider Anthony Irwin from ClutchPoints. Buha explored a three-team trade a fan proposed that would give Los Angeles not only the center it badly needs but also an athletic two-way wing who was an All-Star starter just three years ago. In this trade idea, it would land Nic Claxton from the Brooklyn Nets and Andrew Wiggins from the Miami Heat while giving up forwards Rui Hachimura and Jarred Vanderbilt, big man Maxi Kleber, wing Dalton Knecht, guard Gabe Vincent, a 2031 first-round draft, this year's No. 55 pick and 2028 and 2030 pick swaps. While this trade looks good on paper for L.A., Irwin sounded skeptical that it would work in real life. "If there's a team that I would say might not be as interested, it would be Brooklyn, because Jarred Vanderbilt's contract is one of the more negative assets out there," Irwin responded. "I don't think the Nets would be interested in taking on Vando… Basically, the Lakers would have to throw another pick swap out there, or they would not be able to protect the first that they sent to Brooklyn in that case." "Claxton is someone who is going to have a lot of value around the league," he added. "If you're gonna send out Claxton and you bring back one of the worst contracts in the sport, then you really have to get paid for it." While Claxton would be the athletic, rim-protecting big man who is also a lob threat and a good rebounder that the Lakers need, Wiggins would also be a big get. He averaged 18.0 points a game and shot 37.4% from 3-point range this season, and he's also an excellent defender. At 6-foot-7, he can play at and defend multiple positions, and his experience winning an NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors certainly doesn't hurt. At age 30, he could provide at least two or three more productive years. But in this trade idea, Los Angeles would have to replenish its depth at the power forward and guard positions. If it has a plan to do so, perhaps this would be the can't-miss deal it would want to make.
