Dipika Kakar won't return to television anytime soon; focuses on health and family?
Dipika Kakar
will have to wait longer to see her back on screen. The actress, known for her roles in Sasural Simar Ka and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, and as the winner of Bigg Boss 12, is reportedly not making a comeback to television anytime soon.
Rumours had been circulating that Dipika would star opposite
Vivian Dsena
in a new show under Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta's production house, but the news has now been clarified.
A source close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla, 'It is not true. She is only focusing on her health and quality time with her family.'
Dipika's fans had been eagerly waiting for her return after it was speculated she would headline the upcoming show.
The actress, who recently battled cancer, had previously expressed interest in returning to television once she received medical clearance. She underwent a critical 14-hour-long medical procedure in June 2025, which understandably shifted her focus entirely toward recovery.
Earlier reports suggested that producers were keen to cast her alongside Vivian Dsena, adding to the excitement. However, neither Dipika nor Vivian had officially confirmed their involvement in the project.
