Jennifer Lopez: This is the perfect summer to celebrate being free
Jennifer Lopez will "celebrate being free and being happy" this summer.
The 55-year-old star is headlining WorldPride during June's Pride Month in Washington, D.C, and Jennifer can't wait to "make people sing and dance" over the coming weeks.
The 'Jenny from the Block' hitmaker told People: "I'm excited to tour. I'm excited first to go do Pride. I'm super excited about that. I'm working on that show right now too as we speak, and crafting the tour as well. I'm excited to get back out there."
Jennifer wants to ensure that her fans "have a good time" this summer.
She said: "It seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy.
"Just everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good, and I'm ready to get out there and make people sing and dance and have a good time. That's always my goal."
The chart-topping star is also planning to spend some quality time with her 17-year-old twins, Emme and Max.
Jennifer shared: "I think my kids are going to come to Pride because I'm doing more of a concert [at WorldPride], so I'm excited about that. They're sweet. They're the best."
Meanwhile, Jennifer recently revealed that she feels "proud" of her career.
The singer reflected on her career arc ahead of hosting the American Music Awards.
She told People: "Everything feels like I just did it.
"I remember the moments. I remember getting dressed for them. I remember things people said when we were walking to the stage afterwards.
"So it's all these amazing core memories of my life that when you look back on them … I don't know that I get emotional, but I definitely get like, 'Wow.' Happy. I've been doing this and I'm proud of that."
Jennifer recently sat down to watch some of her old performances, and she was struck by how much she's developed as an artist.
The singer is relishing the challenge of hosting the American Music Awards, too.
She said: "We were just looking at it to see the progression of the stuff that we've done.
"I don't know, it's just a very important part of my musical career and life."

Before her big Pride gig, Ora caught up on her squad of famous Aussie collaborators, from the sizzling (northern hemisphere) summer anthem's co-writer Troye Sivan to tour buddy Kylie Minogue. The Heat video is rather steamy. You shot it on Miami beach? 'It was shot while I was on the Kylie tour in April and we had about four hours in that day to shoot it because we were seriously back-to-back with the shows. So I'm happy we were in Miami, and it was all about the beach.' You have very strong creative connections with Australia, particularly since you did the Voice (2021-2023). How did you and Troye Sivan and his songwriting partner Leland all get together to write Heat? 'Leland, I've known for a long time, we have a lot of mutual friends. And I've constantly had their support. When we were writing together, they suggested this concept of the sexuality and the intensity of heat. And that's what I love about Troye - he's so good at writing really sexy, cheeky songs. Rush was one of my favorite songs of last year and working with him has been on a bucket list. He just happens to be another Australian that wanted to work with me. It was just amazing, and the song fit exactly what my mood of the album was.' And what's the mood? 'My last record was all about finding love and feeling super inspired by my relationship (with film-maker husband Taika Waititi). Whereas this one is just really inspired by having fun and being a sexy bitch. I wanted to go back to how I started in my early career of feeling really comfortable in my skin and, and celebrating being a woman. And summer is such a big part of my life, since I was a kid going around to the Eastern European beaches and seeing how they operate with plastic bags on their heads, very different to a Hawaii beach. Or Sydney.' Is it possible you were born in a bikini? 'Everyone's been asking me that! When I first got there to do The Voice, my health life changed drastically so I feel like I found my bikini bod in Australia, genuinely. I started exercising, sitting in the sun, seeing how fit everyone else is in Australia when they're walking down the beach. So it's your fault, Australia, you've made me just wear a bikini.' You soft-launched Heat while you were doing a leg of the Tension shows with Kylie in America in April and May. 'It was everything to me. Kylie has been such an incredible inspiration to me for my whole life. And also having her as a supporter, I couldn't ask for anything more. I haven't toured like that for about three years and opening up for her was the best way to just get back into live shows. Her audience are just so accepting and they really showed up for me. I just never wanted it to end ... I'm just so grateful for that tour.' Lostboy, who co-wrote Kylie's smash Padam Padam, has said you were going to cut the song at one stage. Any regrets about him not leaving the song with you? 'I've always grown up with this saying, 'What's for you won't pass you.' And that's always how I've lived my life. And it's Kylie Minogue - she's the queen of the world, in my opinion. So, of course, Kylie's going to get it and kill it and do a great job. And in the pop industry, that happens every day to a lot of big artists, you don't just know about it. Lostboy lives in my studio here in Los Angeles, we're very close friends.' Is there a Whatsapp group for The Voice Australia coaches? Keith Urban featured on the track Shape of Me from your last album You & I and you are touring Australia with Ricky Martin in November. 'During that show, I made an incredible friendship with Keith and I love him to death. He's a big, big part of my music-making process, I ask for his advice. And I can't wait to do this Ricky tour. It's another reason to come to Australia. I mean, as soon as they asked me, I just said yes because it's in Australia and it's Ricky.'

Nicky Hilton opens up on 'painful' breastfeeding experience
Nicky Hilton had a "painful" experience with breastfeeding. The 41-year-old socialite has Lily-Grace, eight, Teddy, seven, as well as three-year-old Chasen with her husband James Rothschild and while she opted to feed them all naturally when they were first born, she admitted that it was all something of a "challenge" to her. As part of her campaign with The 2AM Club: Feeding Unfiltered, she wrote on Instagram alongside a throwback of herself breastfeeding one of her children: "I breastfed all three of my children, but it wasn't without its challenges. While I enjoyed the moments of bonding, the latching was often painful. I didn't find breastfeeding as effortless as I'd hoped. " Nicky also explained that she found "so much pressure" to persevere with the breastfeeding despite her struggles because of a societal expectation that is in place, but insisted to her followers that no mother should feel any "guilt" over their decision on how to feed their child. She said: "Plus there was so much pressure to keep going because it's what society tells us we should do. The expectations placed on mothers can be overwhelming. We're just trying our best, and feeding our children - whether through breastfeeding or bottle feeding - shouldn't come with guilt or judgment. You have to listen to your body and do what feels right for you." Despite her struggles with breastfeeding, Nicky - who is known for her work in the fashion industry away from her famous family - previously explained that the actual childbirth wasn't as "scary" as she initially thought, but the idea of it used to be one of the things that "scared [her]" most in life. She told People: "It's not that scary! Childbirth and the dentist are the two things that scare me the most in life, and I was so scared, but it was really not scary. "It's a beautiful thing, and then it's over like that, and then you have this beautiful child in your arms."

Jennifer Lopez has left fans stunned after debuting a striking new look – and many are saying they barely recognised her. The 55-year-old singer and actress shared a first look at her most theatrical role yet, starring as Ingrid Luna in Kiss of the Spider Woman, a new film adaptation of the 1993 Broadway classic. In the just-released trailer, Lopez is seen in two contrasting, era-defining looks – first appearing as a near-platinum blonde paired with a bold red lip and later with a sharply cut bob and spiky fringe. Hailed as, 'The role Jennifer Lopez was born to play,' the Jenny From the Block singer's looks are a far cry from her usual red carpet aesthetic. While the storyline is set against a backdrop of dictatorship and oppression, it unfolds largely through stylised fantasy – giving Lopez the chance to fully embody her love of glitz and glamour. Naturally, fans couldn't contain themselves over the star's bold transformation. 'OMG. I didn't even recognise her, she looks amazing!,' said one eager viewer. 'JLo deserves her Oscar,' said another. 'They could never make me hate you, JLo,' praised a third. Lopez and her ex-husband Ben Affleck made headlines earlier this year while finalising their highly-publicised divorce after less than two years of marriage. In an interview with Nikki Glaser last October, the singer revealed she was looking to find happiness within herself now. 'Being in a relationship doesn't define me. I can't be looking for happiness in other people. I used to say I'm a happy person, but was still looking for something for somebody else to fill.'
