Actor Aaron Paul , who's best known for his roles in ' Breaking Bad ', 'Better Call Saul', and 'Need for Speed', recently signed to star in another possibly hit movie. The actor has joined hands with director James McTeigue for his next film, ' The Midnight Pool '.Aaron Paul has officially signed on to become the lead of McTeigue's latest blockbuster and psychological thriller film 'The Midnight Pool', as reported by Variety.The 2022 script comes from the Black List archives and centres around a journalist named Johnny Black (played by Aaron Paul) whose life turns upside down after a major tragedy hits him. He is then led into an elite and completely exclusive society that sends him on a trip of facing the demons from his past as well as the hellish future that he's become a part of.The actor shared more insights about how he feels about the film and how he got signed for the role of the journalist. The actor shared that as soon as the script came to him, he knew he had to act in it.He shared that 'The world created by Jonathan Easley (writer of the film) stayed with me long after I put the script down. The idea of James holding the reins to tell this story got me extremely excited to tackle this world with him. We sat down in my backyard and spoke for hours about the love of filmmaking. After that meeting, it was very clear we both wanted to lean in. I am such a huge admirer of James, and I feel truly blessed to be on this journey with him and the rest of the team.'

While posing for photos, Hanks found himself the subject of some light teasing from photographers who joked that the official studio photographer was taking too long. According to Page Six, the 68-year-old actor smiled and gestured towards the rest of the photographers, saying, 'I want to be right where [the other photographers are]," making it clear he was ready to move down the line. The moment got even funnier when he turned towards one cameraman and jokingly shouted, 'Shut the f*** up!" The comment made all the photographers burst out laughing. Hanks wasn't the only one having fun. Bryan Cranston, who plays his brother in the film, also joined in.
