Woman Is 'Fed Up' with Her 'Boring' Boyfriend of 7 Years: 'We've Got 1 Life, and It Should Be at Least Enjoyed a Little'
A woman is contemplating her relationship with her longtime boyfriend — because she finds him "boring."
"I'll start off by saying, by no means am I adventurous, but we've got 1 life, and it should be at least enjoyed a little," the woman wrote in a post on the U.K.-based forum Mumsnet.
Explaining that her partner "just seems to have no interest in doing anything," the woman further detailed, "He doesn't drink, [which is] fair enough, so ... pubs/clubs [are] out of the equation, he's overweight so hardly ever wants to eat out, as he's on a diet constantly."
"He doesn't enjoy the socializing that comes with us having a 6-year-old, so he doesn't come to the park/library/play dates even when I ask," the woman continued of her boyfriend, adding: "He likes football, but doesn't enjoy watching it in person or at the pub, [and] he won't go to a concert/music event."

According to the woman, she and her boyfriend "actually do nothing together, and I don't know if I am being unreasonable for being fed up or if he should make more effort."
"We have nothing in common, but I'm willing to compromise," she continued. "I'd go to a football match or I'd love him to come to a music event. He doesn't have to love it, it would just be spending that time together."

The woman also said, "There are always reasons why he doesn't want to do something, yet if I do ever do something without ... asking, he sulks as to why he wasn't invited."
"I don't miss out, because I end up doing these things with friends, but honestly, we've been together 7 years, and if I have to endure this forever, what is the point?" added the frustrated woman.
As she questioned if she was in the wrong to "be fed up" with "how boring my partner is," the woman was met with support from fellow Mumsnet users.
"I think you need to put it on the table as a dealbreaker, and that you see his complete lack of interest in doing anything as either a couple or a family as meaning the relationship is reaching the end of the line for you," one commenter wrote. "He's chosen to have a partner and a baby, and that means he needs to nurture both of those relationships, even if he doesn't love every hour of it. He's being selfish."

Others, meanwhile, questioned the woman about why she would have a child with the man in the first place. In a follow-up comment, she revealed, "I fell pregnant unexpectedly after the first time I slept with him. Yes, cliché, I know."
The woman further clarified in another comment: "I did know him beforehand as a friend, he used to go to pubs, as that's where we met. I think he's just outgrown that scene, which is fine, but he doesn't enjoy doing anything else."

THE BATMAN: PART II Production Start Date Confirmed For Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight Return — GeekTyrant
The Batman: Part II has locked in its production start date, and the wait for the next chapter of Matt Reeves' brooding Bat-saga is finally moving forward. Ever since The Batman hit theaters back in 2022 with Robert Pattinson donning the cape and cowl, fans have been waiting to dive back into Reeves' gritty, noir take on Gotham City. The film cleaned up at the global box office, raking in $772.3 million and setting the stage for Reeves' Batman Epic Crime Saga , which expanded with this year's The Penguin starring Colin Farrell. Now we've got a solid update on when cameras will start rolling. According to a listing on via ComicBookMovie, The Batman: Part II is set to begin filming on January 1, 2026, at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in London. The listing reveals that 'pre-production is ramping up in London,' and adds: 'Production leads are organizing departments and hiring for production design, art direction, stunt coordination, costume, makeup, grip, lighting, camera, VFX, and post-production planning. 'Leavesden offers access to high-end soundstages and set-building facilities—ideal for Gotham's gritty transformation and sweeping practical environments.' Plot details are still tightly sealed, but there is a glimpse into what the sequel will explore. According to the listing: 'The sequel explores Gotham's slow recovery from the devastating flood caused by the Riddler in the previous film, tackling themes of societal division, power dynamics, and moral ambiguity. 'Reeves has described Batman's new journey as operating in a more complex and 'greyer' world — raising the stakes for character-driven tension and visual storytelling.' The script, written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, was just recently completed. So while we're still in the dark on specific story beats, it's clear this next chapter will dive deeper into the psychological and political turmoil brewing in Gotham. Of course, Pattinson will return as the Dark Knight. The returning cast also includes Farrell, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon. The site also notes that Barry Keoghan is 'expected' to return as the Joker, though Warner Bros. hasn't officially confirmed that just yet. The Batman: Part II is set to hit theaters on October 1, 2027.

Saturday's Lotto jackpot estimated at £7.3m after no ticket wins top prize
Saturday's lottery jackpot will be an estimated £7.3 million after no players won Wednesday's top prize. The winning Lotto numbers were 17, 31, 47, 05, 58 and 09, while the bonus number was 35. No players matched all six main numbers, meaning the jackpot was missed, while no ticket-holders won £1 million by matching five of the six numbers plus the bonus ball. Set of balls 3 and draw machine Lotto2 were used in the first Lotto draw since the National Lottery paused over the weekend to enable the biggest technology upgrade in the game's 31-year history. In Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, no players matched all five numbers to win the £350,000 top prize. Two ticket-holders won £13,000 each after matching four of the five numbers. The winning Thunderball numbers were 19, 02, 27, 03 and 38, and the Thunderball was 11. No ticket-holders won £500,000 by matching all five numbers plus the Thunderball. One player matched all five regular numbers, which earned them £5,000.
