Coronation Street fans baffled by 'missing' character as they're left in tears amid actor praise
Coronation Street fans shared their confusion over a 'missing' character during an important moment in the show's knife crime storyline.
It was in January that Mason Radcliffe died, having been stabbed in a horrifying attack at the hands of his own brother. But as fans know, a kinfe only became involved after a terrified Dylan pulled out a blade while fearing for both his and Mason's lives.
During the mid-week trip to Weatherfield on Wednesday (February 26), it was a big day for Dylan Wilson as he finally discovered his fate for owning the knife which eventually killed Mason, who was trying to turn his life around after bulling Liam Connor for much of last year.

Dylan was seen being sentenced to six months in the Secure Training Centre (STC), much to his father, Sean Tully's horror. He was already facing charges for possessing a bladed article but during his hearing, he made comments which left the judge reviewing what he was being charged with as he made it sound like he had been threatening with the blade.
Thankfully for Dylan, the CPS declared that there wasn't enough evidence to change the charges against him and began to sentence him.
She explained that his age allowed her to give him a custodial sentence of at least four months, but because of his previous knife-related charges, she was sentencing him to nine months, which were then reduced to six for his guilty plea.
Later, Dylan was seen making his first entrance into the STC and he immediately faced trouble from his fellow inmates, hinting that it won't be an easy ride inside for the teen.
In the meantime, Corrie fans were seemingly confused over the absence of Liam's mother, Violet. @LilMissMystic said: "Where was Dylan mum Violet when her son was sent down for six months? In fact, I don't think she's been mentioned on-screen during this whole storyline. At least, I can't recall if she has been #Corrie."
@ElaineWharton1 commented: "Where is Dylan's mother Violet? Some months ago during his bullying days she was hotfooting it to Weatherfield to take him away from all the trouble! Now she couldn't care less #Corrie." @Chadderbox2018 added: "Last time he was in trouble she was all about dragging him back to that London, but now Dylan has been sentenced to 6 months in the STC, Violet is nowhere to be seen.... #Corrie."
Others, meanwhile, were praising Antony Cotton and Liam McCheyne for their performances as Sean and Dylan. @eraldine.shaw.7161 said: "Sean was amazing, you would believe he was Dylans real father." angela.glackin.7 wrote: "Sean and Dylan are fantastic Actors. Sean nearly had me in tears."
@anthonyspicturepalace shared: "Great scene, exceptional acting from both." @colgan1904 added: "Loved this scene in @coronationstreet. Great actors especially Sean."

Coronation Street reveals first look at Platt house changes as Maria and Lou clash
spoilers follow. Coronation Street has revealed a first look at the changes to the Platt house as the tension between Maria Connor and Lou Michaelis escalates. The iconic house was destroyed back in February as the ITV soap introduced a dramatic storyline, with the property being engulfed in flames after a mystery arsonist pushed a petrol-soaked rag through the letterbox. After a brief whodunnit storyline, it was eventually revealed that Max Turner was the hooded individual who had set fire to the house, with the teenager reasoning that a potential insurance pay-out would alleviate David's financial worries. Months on from the drama, which saw Max imprisoned for six and a half years, the iconic house at No.8 has been steadily rebuilt, with the new-look style set to be unveiled in next week's scenes. Related: In a new teaser clip, viewers can see the renovated house in all its glory, with the interior design boasting darker colours than before. The wall between the living room and the kitchen looks to have been removed, making for a tad more space. The teaser also depicts the growing tension between Maria and Lou, who had previously worked together at the salon before the latter was sacked. Reeling from the loss of her job, Lou later shared a drink with Maria's husband Gary, enraging Maria even further. In Friday's (13 June) scenes, which are shown in the clip, both Maria and Lou are invited to the Platt household to celebrate the rebuilding, with several Weatherfield residents gathering for a barbecue. Related: Lou begins to rummage around in somebody's belongings, briefly considering stealing a wad of cash before coming to her senses. Maria, however, comes in at the wrong time, demanding Lou empty her pockets as she brands her a "thieving cow". "You can't tell me what to do," responds Lou, who promptly tries to leave. Maria isn't having any of it, however, as she remains adamant that her adversary has stolen something. The pair begin to grapple, but what will the consequences be?
