Klea Pineda releases statement after confirming breakup with Katrice Kierulf
Sharing black-and-white photos of the two of them, the Kapuso actress wrote the time they had together might be short, but she was happy during those three years together.
'Yes, Kat and I decided to end our relationship," Klea said. "Masakit, mahirap.
Klea thanked her followers for supporting her and Kat throughout their relationship. She also thanked her family, who was likewise hurt by the breakup, for accepting Katrice as their own child.
Both she and Katrice fought for and tried to fix their relationship, Klea said.
To conclude her statement, Klea left a message for Katrice.
'To Katrice, naging masaya naman tayo diba?
Klea said she has a lot to thank Katrice for and that she will always support her no matter what.
Klea confirmed that she and Katrice have split on Friday's episode of 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.'
The breakup happened a month ago and was a mutual decision, Klea said, adding that she and Katrice needed to focus on themselves.
Klea came out as gay in March 2023 during her 24th birthday.
She met Katrice through TikTok and publicly introduced her on 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.'
In January, Klea and Katrice marked their third anniversary. Kartice also threw Klea a surprise birthday party in March.
