Reynolds' purchase comes amid an ongoing legal battle between his wife Blake Lively and Justin BaldoniRyan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have gone sailing!
The longtime friends and actors have teamed up to buy BONDS Flying Roos SailGP Team, an Australian professional sailing club, according to a news release.
'We're incredibly excited to set sail together in this new adventure,' Reynolds, 48, said in a joint statement. 'Hugh brings a deep love for and pride in his home country as well as being an avid fan of sailing. He will also be bringing his overly clingy emotional support human along for the ride. Apologies in advance to Australia.'
Founded in 2019 by Sir Russell Coutts and Larry Ellison, SailGP pits 12 national crews in identical 50-foot foiling catamarans.

The club is led by driver and CEO Tom Slingsby, the Australian 2012 Olympic gold medalist, who shared his enthusiasm for adding Jackman and Reynolds to the crew.
'This is an incredible milestone for us and for our sport, having global icons Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds come on board as co-owners of our team,' he said. 'They bring unmatched star power, a love for storytelling, and a sharp sense of humour that fits perfectly with our team. With BONDS joining as our Title Partner and the launch of the BONDS Flying Roos, we're building something distinctly Australian; a team driven by spirit, resilience, and national pride.'
The BONDS Flying Roos SailGP Team will make its official debut under the new ownership at the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix from June 7-8.
For Reynolds — who is also the part-owner of two soccer teams — the new endeavor comes amid an ongoing legal battle between his wife Blake Lively and her former co-star Justin Baldoni.
In December 2024, Lively filed a sexual-harassment complaint against Baldoni and alleged that he engaged in misconduct during the filming of It Ends with Us.
The actress also accused Baldoni and his associates of launching a retaliatory smear campaign meant to "destroy" her reputation, which he has denied.
Baldoni countered Lively's initial claim in January with a $400 million lawsuit against her, Reynolds and their publicist Leslie Sloane, alleging extortion, defamation and more.

Meghan Markle Shares Photos from Disneyland with Prince Harry and Kids Archie, 6, and Lili, 4: ‘Pure Joy'
Princess Lilibet celebrated her fourth birthday at Disneyland Meghan Markle shared an Instagram video of Prince Harry along with Lili and son Archie smiling during their family trip 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!' she captioned the postMeghan Markle and Prince Harry are celebrating their daughter Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor's fourth birthday at the happiest place on earth! On Friday, June 6, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a sweet video of herself, the Duke of Sussex, 40, and Prince Archie, 6, exploring Disneyland. 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!,' Meghan captioned the Instagram post, set to Peggy Lee's 'It's a Good Day.' The video began with Lili wearing a sparkly blue baseball cap and a colorful sleeveless dress while holding her mom's hand as she led the way through the California theme park. Next was dad Harry following closely behind as the princess met a Disney Princess, before the family of four was photographed going up a log ride at Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Meghan looked back, flashing a huge smile while wearing Minnie Mouse ears as they prepared for the drop that faced them on the water ride. Other stops on their outing included a ride on Dumbo the Flying Elephant and a trip to see Star Wars troopers. Meghan posted photos of their food, which included corn dogs and pickle slices, but, of course, no birthday can be complete without a birthday cake! As the video continued, there was a photo of a Little Mermaid-themed cake with Princess Ariel and her undersea friend Sebastian. Additional highlights included a carousel ride with the siblings sitting together, roller coasters and walks throughout the park, which is currently celebrating its 70th anniversary. Meghan added hearts over Lilibet and Archie's faces, as the mother of two has been adamant about keeping their faces out of the public eye for privacy reasons. "Our kids are young,' Meghan told CBS News Sunday Morning in August 2024. 'They're 3 and 5. They're amazing. But all you want to do as parents is protect them. And so, as we can see what's happening in the online space, we know that there's a lot of work to be done there, and we're just happy to be able to be a part of change for good." Jason Biggs Recalls Climbing Into Trash Can at 4 A.M. to Snort Cocaine amid Addiction: ‘Absolutely Insane'
Jason Biggs opened up about his struggle with drugs and alcohol during the height of his career while living in Los Angeles The American Pie star recalled climbing into the trash can to retrieve cocaine he had already thrown away He said he was able to get his health on track after moving to New York, and has been sober since 2017Jason Biggs is sharing one of his 'craziest stories' with addiction, and the moment he climbed into a trash can to snort cocaine. The 47-year-old actor appeared on the June 4 episode of the Well with Arielle Lorre podcast and opened up about the height of his drug and alcohol addiction. Following the success of American Pie early in his career, Biggs said that with fame, he 'learned very quickly' how rare it was for people to say no to him while he was living in Los Angeles, which escalated his substance abuse. 'Being 22 with money in the bank and coke in my pocket and no one saying no to me,' he said. Biggs told Lorre that when he met and married his wife Jenny Mollen, he was using drugs and drinking alcohol much more than she knew. He was 'blocking everything out with drugs and alcohol… and it just got worse and worse.' The Orange Is the New Black actor then recalled one of the lowest points of his addiction. 'I lived in the gray area, but I have 'snorting dust off the floor' stories or similar to that,' he began. 'One of my craziest stories was, I was doing cocaine by myself in my house, and I did what I said was the last line.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Biggs said it was 4 a.m. and Mollen was asleep. In an attempt to stop himself and go back to bed, he threw the drugs into the trash can. 'Within 15 minutes, as soon as my last bump is wearing off, I'm like, what am I doing? I go into my trash, and I take it out and I do a line,' he said. In another attempt to stop, Biggs said he went outside and put the rest of the cocaine into the trash can in front of their house. 'OK, I'm done,' he told himself before going back inside and grabbing an Ambien to help him sleep. 'Before I took the Ambien, I was like, 'One more,'' he said. 'I went outside and I climbed into the trash bin and got the bag of coke and went upstairs and did another line. I was like, 'What the f— am I doing? This is absolutely insane.'' is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now for the most binge-worthy celeb content, exclusive video clips, astrology updates and more! Biggs said that he constantly struggled with sobriety while living in Los Angeles. 'I would find myself alone and isolating and I would find myself breaking whatever sobriety I had. It was incredibly fragile, obviously, in those early days,' he said. Biggs explained that despite having met some great people in L.A., living there wasn't good for his health, and the environment made his drinking worse. He said moving to New York was life-changing and a 'healthier place' for him to get his life on track. 'There's something about the energy of New York that gives me something, that fills me in a way that Los Angeles couldn't. But I do believe coming to New York helped me. So, I did fall off the wagon here, but that was seven and a half years ago and it's been going well." Biggs has been sober since 2017 and shared his first anniversary of sobriety on Instagram in October 2018. 'I first tried to get sober over 5 years ago, when the weight of my obsession with booze and drugs became too heavy for me to handle,' he wrote alongside a photo of a silver coin that read, 'To thine own self be true' and has the engraved words 'unity, service, recovery.' 'Turns out this s--- is hard,' he said at the time. 'After some fits and starts, I've managed to put together one year of sobriety. I'm as proud of it as anything in my life.' Biggs concluded by encouraging those who are also battling addiction not to give up. 'If you're struggling, know there's help,' the star wrote. 'Don't be ashamed. We can do this. 💪🙏.' Baltimore Ravens' Zay Flowers Focused on 'Real Football' - Not Olympic Flag Football
Baltimore Ravens' Zay Flowers Focused on 'Real Football' - Not Olympic Flag Football originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Last month, the NFL owners' meetings approved a motion to allow NFL players to participate in the 2028 Olympics in flag football. The motion passed overwhelmingly, as any opportunity to grow the game globally was seen as a "win" for the NFL and it's owners. Advertisement "It's an incredible honor for any athlete to represent their country in the Olympics, which is the pinnacle of global sport," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated. "I know first-hand that the inclusion of flag football in the Olympics has sparked a tremendous amount of excitement among NFL players interested in the chance to compete for their country on the world stage. We are thrilled that they will now have that chance." For one Baltimore Ravens star, the premise does not excite him. Ravens' receiver Zay Flowers joined in his quarterback Lamar Jackson in dismissing the idea of exchanging his pads for flags. Flowers is worried about repping the purple and black, not the stars and stripes, instead preferring to focus on "real football". 'I play real football. I ain't really worried about going to the Olympics." Flowers told reporters. "I'm trying to win a Super Bowl.' Advertisement Jackson, who many pencilled in as the best option under center for flag football, gave a similar response last month. ""I doubt it. I'm a professional NFL player." Jackson said on The Lounge podcast. "So I'm just going to stay over here and let those guys have fun." Jackson did have faith that the U.S. would take home the gold if he were to participate. "No doubt about it, it would go down," he said. "But I salute those guys because they're performing for our country at the end of the day." Flowers and Jackson's comments must come as a relief to Ravens' head coach John Harbaugh, who gave a lighthearted response in March when asked about the possibility of Jackson having to miss training camp in 2028 to play Olympic flag football. Advertisement "I'm afraid I have a quarterback that'd probably be pretty good at it, so no, I'm not that excited about that in all honesty," Harbaugh said before smiling. "I believe in America. I want gold medals, but …" It seems as though the Ravens' locker room is fully committed to Lombardi trophies over gold medals.
