AP Dhillon's new song Thodi Si Daaru copied from Shinchan theme song? Here's what we know
Thodi Si Daaru marks the collaboration between AP Dhillon and Shreya Ghoshal.
While the catchy tune and the visuals of the tracks have kept fans hooked to the song, a section on the internet was also reminded of the popular cartoon, Shinchan's theme song. They claimed an uncanny resemblance between the two songs over their tune.
Decoding the same, a user on Instagram compared Dhillon's Thodi Si Daaru to the Hindi theme song of Shinchan, Mera Naam Bhi Shin-chan Hai.
In his video, he played both the tracks individually and then combined them using an audio mixing software. Surprisingly, both songs created a smooth mashup with only the vocals differing.
The edited clip also featured a section where Shreya Ghoshal's voice was overlaid on the Shin-chan lyrics, further backing the claims.

Reacting to the video, a user wrote, 'Areee singh Saab, what is this behaviour.'
'This dude's career is built on plagiarism,' added another.
One said, 'I thought it was just me who saw this similarity! Thank god it's evident!'
Someone else also jokingly commented, 'Shinchan Singh Dhillon.'
Yet another poked fun: 'Shinchan must be sitting and watching from somewhere and thinking.' 'Bro got inspired by Shinchan,' wrote one more user.
Many also tagged AP Dhillon in the comment section. However, he is yet to respond to these claims.
AP Dhillon is a Canadian singer. He is best known for his popular tracks, such as Excuses, Dil Nu, True Stories, Old Money, Brown Munde, Summer High, and more.
Previously, AP Dhillon dropped a collaboration with the October actress Banita Sandhu, starring together in his music video With You. Besides the success of the music video, it also sparked dating rumours between the two after the release of the song.

"Maa Ganga At My Doorstep": UP Cop Becomes Internet Sensation For Worshipping Floodwater In Prayagraj
Amid flood-like conditions in parts of Uttar Pradesh, a police officer in Prayagraj has become a viral sensation after sharing videos of himself embracing the Ganga - even as it inundated his home. Sub-inspector Chandradeep Nishad shared multiple videos of himself joyfully embracing the floodwaters invading his home. In one of the videos, the cop is seen standing inside his house, still in uniform, performing puja and offering flowers to the floodwater. "Jai Ganga Maiya ki! Main dhann hogya maa aap mere darwaaze pe dastak dene aayi. (I am blessed that you (Mother Ganga) have arrived on my doorstep)," he says with folded hands. The video has been viewed nearly 38 million times. "Mother Ganga arrived at our house while leaving for duty this morning. Got blessings by worshipping Maa Ganga at my doorstep. Hail Mother Ganga," the cop wrote in the caption of the post. He is currently posted as a personal security officer at the Allahabad High Court. His aquatic antics have divided the internet. While some praised the cop's spirit, others raised valid concerns. "India is the only country which celebrates rivers by creating more water pollution! To respect holy rivers we must clear their pathways, basins, stop dumping waste-water, treat them like rivers...! Jai Hind, Jai Ganga!" wrote one user in the comments. "I understand it's your emotions and immense respect for holy Ganga. But please, please don't be an add-on. It's already polluted enough," commented another. "Aqua Man of Prayagraj," sarcastically wrote a third user. "Ganga ma home delivery kar rahi hai paap dhone ke liye," said another.
