'Love Island couple tipped for the final are DUMPED by ex-islanders' in dramatic twist - and miss out on £50k cash prize
According to The Sun, the dramatic moment unfolded at the fire pit when several former contestants returned to the villa and voted out the pair, in scenes set to air during Sunday evening's episode.
Ex-Islanders, including Harry Cooksley's ex Emma Munro, Billykiss Azeez, and loved-up duo Harrison Solomon and Lauren Wood, were among those said to have cast their votes to send the couple packing.
While the identities of the 'dumped Islanders' haven't been revealed, a source told The Sun that the returning castmates were left stunned after watching footage that allegedly exposed cracks in the couple's romance.
They told the publication: 'This couple have been a big part of this series, so this is a shocking moment.
'But having watched it back, ex-Islanders have become privy to action they weren't fully aware of, and it left them more than questioning the integrity of this connection.

'The couple were sent packing on Friday afternoon, and the scenes will air on Sunday.'
Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment.
It comes after Love Island fans were left in shock when fan favourites Megan Moore and Conor Phillips were brutally dumped from the villa on Friday.
The couple became the latest Islanders to get axed just days ahead of the final on Monday, as the last days in the villa get well and truly underway.
Their exit was announced while the remaining couples were still on their final dates in a savage twist, and viewers were left stunned by the verdict.
Megan and Conor's relationship was cut short when she was dumped; however, the couple got a second chance when she re-entered the villa last week.
But as the Islanders were enjoying their dates, an unexpected text saw the atmosphere shift.
Toni read: 'Islanders. The public have been voting for the most compatible couple. The couple with the fewest votes and therefore dumped from the island tonight is…'

British TV legend Ray Brooks, best known as voice of Mr Benn, dies aged 86
Ray Brooks, whose TV career spanned five decades, has died aged 86. The actor was best known for narrating the 1970's children's show Mr Benn, but also had notable roles in Cathy Comes Home, Big Deal and Running Wild. He also was one of just a handful of actors to appear in both Coronation Street and EastEnders. In the 1960s he played Norman Philips on the ITV soap, then 40 years later arrived in Albert Square, in which he played Joe Macer, who infamously murdered his wife Pauline Fowler. Brooks died on Saturday after a short illness, his family told the BBC. More Trending The animated series followed the character who, after dressing up in a magical costume shop, would find himself experiencing a new adventure every episode. 'Although only 13 episodes were made, they were repeated twice a year for 21 years,' his sons added. Maya Jama 'offered millions for Love Island as Netflix tries to poach her
Love Island host Maya Jama could reportedly secure a lucrative deal for ITV's longtime reality show hit to prevent losing her to rivals like Netflix. The twist-filled, sunny dating show just wrapped up for another year, and the show seems to be on the up and up with some fans hailing it 'the best season ever' and their viewing figures hitting 2.5 million – higher than it has been in years. A large part of this recent success coincides with the 30-year-old host taking over as the presenter in 2023 (after it experienced all-time lows of 1.3m viewers), not only revitalising the format but also gaining 3.2m followers along the way. As such, a source told The Sun's Biz on Sunday column that ITV has paid out to make sure she sticks around. The insider said: 'Maya is a huge hit with fans and the bosses. ITV are desperate not to lose her. They're acutely aware that she's being offered lucrative work with other companies, such as Netflix. She's hugely in demand. 'Maya is proud to be part of Love Island, and bosses want her to continue with the series for the All Stars and summer format. 'It is still early days but bosses are preparing an extremely good package for Maya that she would find hard to turn down.' The package is reportedly set to include a pay cheque of £800,000 to host the main summer series plus another £800k to host the All stars. That's a told of £1.6million. On top of this, she would be paid extra for hosting After Sun. The star clearly still has a lot of love for the show as she took to social media to celebrate Toni and Cach's victory in last week's live final. 'We are one of the few shows to do our finals live and I'm so grateful for the trust because it gives so much room for silliness and iconic moments, you truly never know what will happen and I had so much fun,' she wrote in a heartfelt post. More Trending Outside of her professional life, romance is also blossoming for the TV personality as she firmly put her relationship with Stormzy, and a high-profile break-up, in the past. In June, she was seen on a very lovey-dovey holiday with her boyfriend, Portuguese footballer Ruben Dias whom she was first linked in November. View More » Love Island is available to stream on ITVX. Jimmy Bullard returning to I'm A Celebrity... for All Stars
Jimmy Bullard returning to I'm A Celebrity... for All Stars The ex-Soccer AM host will be hoping to do better than his original stint in 2014 Jimmy Bullard and Carl Fogarty (Image: Mirrorpix) Jimmy Bullard is to take part in I'm A Celebrity... All Stars. The 46-year-old former footballer is said to be returning to the jungle alongside a number of other former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants from previous years and the ex-Soccer AM host will be hoping to do better than his original stint in 2014, when he was the first campmate to be voted off. A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Jimmy had a brilliant time in the original series he took part in and it really opened the door to his broadcasting career. "He was voted off first last time and he felt he had a lot more to give. "Now he's got the chance to get stuck in again, although he's a bit older so he is worried he might find it harder to rough it. "His banter is still on top form though. Producers are hopeful he'll have a bromance with Harry Redknapp, who is also taking part." As well as Jimmy and 2018 King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp, The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins - who lasted only three days in the jungle when she took part in the 2014 edition of the programme - and 2016's third-placed Adam Thomas are also set to take part. Adam memorably took part in a record 12 Bushtucker Trials during his time in the Australian jungle and returned to present the companion series I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp with Joel Dommett and Emily Atack in 2019. A source told The Sun newspaper of his decision to sign up for All Stars: "This will be a glorious return for Adam as he established himself as a true fan favourite through his series in camp and then on the spin-off show. "He's stayed in the limelight, too, with Waterloo Road and then on ITV alongside brother Ryan with challenge show 99 To Beat. "It's the perfect time for him to head back into the jungle and affirm his position as Mr Bushtucker Trial." The first legends series aired in 2023 and saw the returns of former campmates Myleene Klass, Helen Flanagan and Jordan Banjo. Article continues below A source said: "That was one of the biggest entertainment shows of the year averaging 5.2million views across its consecutive weeknight run. "We're very excited about bringing back campmates from over the years in a brand-new setting in South Africa."
