A 'mature,' 18+ circus is setting up shop in St. Cloud
Anything circus-related has an element of horror to it, even if you're not coulrophobic. However, Cirque Italia is ratcheting up the horror angle with "Paranormal Cirque," a new production heading to St. Cloud in May. The group says the "mature" performance combines theater, (animal-free) circus, and cabaret "with a new European-style flare." Cirque Italia says its paranormal showcase features innovative horror performances geared toward a "mature audience," with spectacles that include the Wheel of Death, magic, acrobatics, and monstrous creatures. The run in St. Cloud begins May 23 and runs through May 26 under a white and black big top tent in the parking lot of the Crossroads Mall at 4101 West Division St. Tickets start at $10. Any attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
