Yuzvendra Chahal
and Dhanashree Verma, the former couple who faced public scrutiny during their divorce, have opened up about their struggles months after bidding goodbye to each other. While the cricketer shared his unfeigned feelings, the choreographer recently revealed her point of view and the experiences she constantly had to face.
As the chaotic perspectives died down on social media, the former couple chose to speak up and keep their feelings ahead in front of fans. However, the 35-year-old and 28-year-old had different experiences with media, career, and narratives. Here's a glimpse into what Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma said about their divorce and current love life.
About separation and divorce proceedings
In an appearance on Raj Shamani's podcast, Chahal revealed that the divorce, which might have seemed sudden, was a result of two failed years.
When the host asked whether the spinner faked their love and relationship to avoid judgment, the cricketer nodded his head in agreement. Opening about the disastrous relationship, Yuzi stated that a relationship requires compromise, but both of them were extremely busy with their individual careers.
'At that point, I was so much into it, I had to give time here, give time there. I was not able to think about the relationship.
Then it happens every day, you think, leave it,' he said.
Meanwhile, Dhanashree Verma opened up about her divorce during an interview with Humans of Bombay. Talking about the experience, Verma discussed how she felt bad for her parents while she was facing negative comments all over social media. During the vulnerable time, Verma's friends, team, and her family built a strong wall, letting her lean on support.

Are Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma interested in giving 'love' another chance?
Chahal claimed to have been loyal towards his partner in the aforementioned podcast, in addition to being scared of loving again.
The 35-year-old cited that he is an overthinker and won't be engaging in love for a while. 'Kyuki mei attached dil se hota hu. Phir aap itna attached hote hoh aur cheeze khatam hoti hai woh ek dar baitha hai (I connect through heart. The things end after being attached to a person, that's the fear I have),' he said, adding that in the end it feels lonely.
Meanwhile, Verma is letting her heart breathe and giving it another try to fall in love. 'I think we all want love in life. Like, who doesn't want to be loved? We all do. Somewhere, we all hope, and we all have that faith,' she said. Moreover, she said that 'self-love' should be prioritised.

When Twinkle Khanna recalled moving to her grandmother's home after Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia's separation: ‘My mother and aunt shared a bed, Rinke and I slept on the floor'

Actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna , daughter of Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna , has never shied away from being candid about her childhood. At her book launch in September 2018, she spoke about how her father's career decline and her parents' separation shaped her view of life. What stood out most for her was the way her mother held the family together. "Everything I write about seems to be about women finding their place in the world, about the chafing between what a woman is and what she is meant to be," Twinkle had said. Moving to her grandmother's house Twinkle painted a vivid picture of those transitional days when they shifted to her grandmother's home. Dimple and her sister shared a bed, while Twinkle and her younger sister Rinke slept on mattresses on the floor. And yet, there was routine, order, and resilience. Every morning at 5 AM, Dimple would quietly roll out a Jane Fonda workout tape and begin exercising on mute, careful not to disturb anyone. For Twinkle, that small detail became a lifelong lesson in discipline and grace under pressure. Strength behind the smile Dimple was working three shifts at the time, but never once let her struggles seep into her children's lives. Twinkle remembered her mother's quiet strength with admiration. "For me, it was very clear at that point that a woman doesn't have to rely on anyone besides herself," Twinkle reflected. "Men were okay, it was enjoyable to have them like a dessert, but they were certainly not the main course." Rajesh Khanna's 10th death anniversary: When Dimple Kapadia spoke fondly about her ex-husband: 'We may have separated…' Dimple on Twinkle's maturity Interestingly, Dimple herself has often spoken about the support she received from her daughter. At an event in Jaipur, she recalled how Twinkle stepped into the role of caretaker even as a child. "She's an amazing child. She must have been all of seven or eight when I got separated," Dimple said. "The kind of maturity... She was only wanting to take care of me, to see if I was okay, if everything was alright with me. There are lots of things I can't say because of you know what... But she was like my friend. Then she turned into a monster mother."
