Doncic signed with the Jordan Brand back in 2019 and has been endorsing the brand since then. The contract was then extended to 2029 in 2023, and the player will be seen in future collaborations as well.
Dallas Mavericks traded their star player Luka Doncic to Los Angeles Lakers in exchange of Anthony Davis. Though the trade met with skeptical remarks, many did find the addition of Doncic to Lakers quite refreshing. However, whether Doncic will find his place in the Lakers for the next season or not is still up for debate. Though his stats are quite remarkable, with an average of 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 7.7 assists, it still remains to be seen whether the Lakers will extend his contract or not.
The Los Angeles Lakers are now having a post-season break after winning 50 games in the season. However, the Lakers need to make some serious amends if they want to win the Championship in the coming years.

Where's Lauren? Fans question Connor McDavid's wife's absence during pivotal Stanley Cup showdown as she skips 2 games in a row

While Connor McDavid battles for the Stanley Cup, his wife, Lauren Kyle, is making headlines of her own (Getty Images) As the Edmonton Oilers fight for the Stanley Cup, not everyone tied to the team is watching from the stands. While Game 2 against the Florida Panthers played out with high stakes on the ice, team captain Connor McDavid's wife, Lauren Kyle, was making her presence felt halfway across the world—in a very different way. Lauren Kyle skips Stanley Cup Final Game 2 to support Leon Draisaitl 's fiancée at her bachelorette getaway Instead of joining the crowd at Rogers Place or the Panthers' arena, Lauren Kyle remained in Mykonos, Greece, where she fulfilled her role as a bridesmaid for Celeste Desjardins , the fiancée of Oilers star Leon Draisaitl. The tropical escape is more than just a getaway—it's part of Desjardins' bachelorette celebration, with other WAGs (wives and girlfriends of players), including Mikayla Nurse, wife of defenseman Darnell Nurse, joining in the festivities. Although she's miles from the Stanley Cup action, Lauren made it clear she's still cheering on her husband and the team. She posted a sleek Instagram Story showing Game 2 streaming on a laptop, with glasses of wine and the glowing city lights of Mykonos in the background. '@ a view with a view,' she captioned it, a nod both to the scenic skyline and the screen showing her team in action. Balancing tradition and team spirit This isn't the first time Lauren has missed playoff action during the Oilers' Cup run—she was also absent for Game 1. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Pinga-Pinga e HBP? Some believe the captain's wife should be by his side during such a critical moment, while others applaud her for standing by her bridesmaid commitments and supporting another member of the Oilers' inner circle. Still, Lauren's remote show of support reflects the modern dynamic between athletes and their partners—balancing personal obligations with unwavering support, even when thousands of miles apart. Additionally, in some of the images, the family of four can be seen wearing Minnie Mouse hats, while a two-tier Little Mermaid-themed cake also features in the birthday celebration. This comes shortly after another personal video was shared by Meghan in honour of Lilibet's birthday, where she posted a throwback clip of herself tweaking in a hospital room while heavily pregnant with Lilibet. The video shows the Duchess taking part in the viral 'Baby Mama Challenge," a social media trend where expectant mothers danced to the song Baby Mama in a playful attempt to induce labour. Prince Harry is also seen dancing alongside her in the video. 'Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do!," Meghan had written in her video post. She also shared several previously unseen images of Lilibet, including one of Meghan cradling her as a newborn and another of the pair near a body of water. First Published: June 07, 2025, 16:36 IST
