KSrelief Clinics Provide Healthcare to 2,668 Refugees at Jordan's Zaatari Camp
The general medicine clinics treated 940 patients, while the internal medicine clinic cared for 125 individuals with diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Pediatric clinics attended to 256 children, and the dental clinic provided treatment to 195 patients.
Additionally, the two gynecology clinics served 260 female patients, while the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) clinic treated 71 individuals for sinus, throat, tonsil, and middle ear infections. The eye clinic cared for 63 patients, and the cardiology clinic provided services to 22 patients.
The diagnostic radiology clinic received 20 patients, the dermatology clinic treated 34 individuals, and the rehabilitation medicine clinic attended to 24 patients.
A total of 1,890 laboratory tests were conducted for 262 patients, and 138 X-rays were performed for 104 individuals. The immunization clinic administered vaccines to 91 patients.
Furthermore, health education sessions were provided to 71 individuals and groups, while the physical therapy department conducted 130 rehabilitation sessions.

This innovative tool is designed to improve the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures, the SFDA said in a statement. The device is a hand-worn tool that features a magnetic holder on the back of the hand to secure suture needles during knot-tying. This design allows surgeons to use both hands with ease, significantly reducing the risk of accidental needle injuries during operations. According to SFDA, the device is protected by two registered patents in both Saudi Arabia and the United States. Saudi citizen airlifted from Azerbaijan for treatment
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — A Saudi citizen was airlifted to Saudi Arabia from Azerbaijan after falling ill so as to provide him with better treatment in the Kingdom. The Saudi embassy in Azerbaijan evacuated the citizen on board a medical evacuation plane. The evacuation was supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by the Saudi embassy in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. This was in coordination with relevant authorities in the Kingdom, and that was in implementation of the directives of the Saudi leadership.
