Orlando Bloom's Viral 2021 Story Resurfaces Amid Speculation That He and Katy Perry Are on the Rocks
As speculation continues to grow that Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are on the rocks, a story involving the actor, 48, that once went viral is making its rounds again.
In 2021, Bloom shared a look into his daily routine for The Sunday Times, revealing he begins each morning checking his smart ring sleep tracker, checking in on daughter Daisy — now 5, and who he shares with Perry — and chanting for 20 minutes.
Next, 'I'll read a bit of Buddhism and then I'll type it up and add it to my [Instagram] Stories,' the Pirates of the Caribbean star — who has practiced the religion since he was 16 years old — shared. 'Other than that, I won't look at my phone yet. I don't want to be sucked into the black hole of social media.'
Admitting that his breakfast routine is 'all quite LA, really,' Bloom shared he likes to 'earn [his] breakfast' which consists of 'green powders that I mix with brain octane oil, a collagen powder for my hair and nails, and some protein.'
Bloom — who follows a 90 percent plant-based diet and admitted sometimes he cooks, but other times 'there's a team of people' preparing his meals — confessed he also eats red meat 'maybe once a month.'
'I sometimes look at a cow and think, that's the most beautiful thing ever,' he explained.
The actor, who also dished on having an exclusive deal with Amazon and admitted he liked to 'make an effort' when it involved his wardrobe and refused to wear 'tracksuit bottoms', shared he liked to keep himself busy with hobbies.
'During Covid I started building Lego again. I dip in and out while I work,' he said, per the publication. 'I build mostly cars and find the methodical nature of creating this little thing makes me feel like I'm achieving something else.'
Though it seems Bloom's story was meant to be a genuine look into his life, it quickly went viral at the time with many mocking his daily tasks.
'Genuinely thought the Orlando Bloom interview in The Sunday Times was a spoof,' one person wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). 'Is it really not?'
'Getting massive American Pyscho [sic] vibes from this,' another wrote.
'I won't accept that this isn't satire. He must be practising for a late night panel show hosting gig,' a third quipped.
Meanwhile, others respected Bloom's healthy regimen. 'Why make fun of a man who just wants to look after himself,' one fan commented. 'Men need role models like this to normalize self care and wellbeing.'
Speculation has mounted in recent weeks that Perry and Bloom have hit a rough patch — however, in photos obtained by Daily Mail, the pair appeared to be together on June 22 in Australia, where the 'Firework' singer performed that night.

Tia Mowry Gets Personal About How to Overcome the 'Gut-Wrenching Feeling of Divorce'
Tia Mowry invited fans to ask her questions in a Q&A on her Instagram Stories One of the questions was about divorce, which she candidly answered Mowry finalized her divorce from Cory Hardrict in April 2023Tia Mowry is opening up about how to overcome the trials and tribulations of divorce. On Wednesday, June 25, the Tia Mowry: My Next Act star, 46, invited fans to ask her open-ended questions on her Instagram Stories. One of the questions came from a fan who asked, "Girl how the hell do I recover from this divorce? Lord help me Chile!" Mowry went through her own divorce when she announced she was splitting from Cory Hardrict after 14 years of marriage in October 2022. The exes finalized their divorce in April 2023 and share daughter Cairo, 7, and son Cree, 13. She gave her honest advice, telling the fan to "dive into doing the work," and "really, truly focus on self-care." "Focus on what makes you happy and what brings you joy. Build a tribe, a community of friends, a support system. Meditate. Try new hobbies. Read books on healing," she said. The Sister, Sister alum advised her fans to "spend time with your kids if you have them, or just surround yourself with people who genuinely love and support you." "Do things that feel fun and fulfilling. Travel, if you can. Traveling really helped me. It's all about creating new experiences," she said. "The more experiences you have, the further away you get from that heavy, gut-wrenching feeling of divorce." Her last piece of advice was something Mowry has previously spoken about. "Also, allow yourself to cry. Allow yourself to feel it all. Just don't let it consume you," she said. "I hope that helps." Last October, Mowry told PEOPLE that she allows herself to be vulnerable in front of her daughter. 'The thing is as a mother, you kind of try to figure out if you should allow them to see your emotions, your ups and your downs," she said. "And I've made the choice to move from an authentic place. And allow [Cairo] to see that there are days when Mommy is sad. And that's okay." She said that she gives both Cairo and Cree "that space to express and just to be authentic." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from juicy celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. "And it's not about covering up, you know, things," continued Mowry. "And I think when you move in authenticity, there's healing, there's growth — and I've allowed my children to do that as well." Sabrina Carpenter hits back with cheeky alternative to provocative album cover
Sabrina Carpenter is barking back at the backlash surrounding her suggestive album cover. The outspoken pop star is set to release her new album "Man's Best Friend" on Aug. 29, but the 26-year-old "Espresso" hitmaker took to social media Wednesday, June 25, to sarcastically slam critics of her provocative album cover. In her caption, Carpenter wrote that she "signed some copies of Man's Best Friend for you guys & here is a new alternate cover approved by God available now on my website" alongside a white heart emoji. The breakout singer's June 11 album announcement garnered criticism with its imagery showing Carpenter, dressed in a black dress and high heels, kneeling on the ground in a dog-like pose while an unidentified man stands off to the side and pulls her by the hair. Sabrina Carpenter sparks controversy with provocative 'Man's Best Friend' album cover In the new photos, Carpenter faces the camera and looks away in two separate shots – one close-up and another full-body photograph – as she stands and holds onto a man, with her hands on his arm and back. "Man's Best Friend," Carpenter's seventh studio effort, follows the release of her breakthrough 2024 album "Short n' Sweet," which catapulted her to superstardom after the former Disney star worked for years in the music industry. The album, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, spawned the hit singles "Espresso," "Please Please Please," "Taste" and "Bed Chem," as well as solidified the singer's playful pin-up girl image.
