Mamma Mia! This Might Be a Street-Legal Lamborghini Sesto Elemento

Motor 111-07-2025
Remember the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento? How could you forget? Introduced in 2010, the ultra-limited, Gallardo-based hypercar packed a 5.2-liter V-10 tuned to 562 horsepower, and had carbon-fiber-everything—the chassis, the body, the driveshaft, even the wheels.
With all that carbon fiber work, plus no stereo or air conditioning, the Sesto Elemento weighed just 2,202 pounds (or 999 kilograms). Unfortunately, that meant it wasn't street-legal—not that any of the 20 very lucky owners were likely to take their multi-million-dollar hypercar to the grocery store.
But at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, Lanzante—the British tuning shop known for making track cars street legal—may have quietly introduced a street-legal version of the iconic Sesto Elemento. And we're obsessed.
Admittedly, there aren't a lot of details on this car (yet). We've reached out to Lanzante in hopes of securing some official info. But a video from the user jonnys.nb on TikTok shows the Sesto Elemento driving on public roads in the UK with the caption "Road legal Sesto Elemento." And it does have a
real
,
actual
license plate.
The car, admittedly, doesn't look all that different from the track-only version introduced in 2020. But we can imagine there are a few hidden modifications under all that carbon that make this Sesto Elemento road-legal, at least in the UK.
A second video posted to the Goodwood Festival of Speed's social channels confirms that this car, indeed, does come from Lanzante. The Sesto Elemento in question made a run up the Goodwood Hillclimb late yesterday.
As mentioned, we've reached out to Lanzante to confirm that this is indeed the real deal. If this Sesto Elemento is indeed street-legal, it would be a world's first.

Bugatti launches Solitaire program for one-off custom supercars

When you have more money than God, a good place to start spending it is on one-off Bugattis. Meet what could be your first of (probably not that) many: the Bugatti Brouillard. It is, quite simply, the greenest thing we've ever seen. The car features two-tone bodywork, while air ducts behind the glass roof are stamped with "W16" to indicate the engine that lives behind the cabin. Curiously, the word "Chiron" doesn't appear anywhere in the Bugatti press release, but it does say the Brouillard is built on "Bugatti's W16-powered platform featuring the ... legendary quad-turbocharged engine." So, the Chiron. New Range Rover logo: Is this the most boring luxury branding ever? The interior is arguably the pièce de résistance. Pistacchio-hued leather wraps the seats, armrests and dashboard. Olive-toned carbon fiber arcs throughout. Woven tartan fabric is applied to the door cards, steering wheel and seat inserts. Even if green isn't your thing, you have to respect the extensive color-drenching used here. Lamborghini unveils the Temerario GT3: Introducing the successor to its most decorated race car As for equine motif? Bugatti says the unnamed commissioning owner is a huge Bugatti fan and wanted to capture founder Ettore Bugatti's love of horses. Brouillard — for which this one-off car is named — was Ettore's most favoritest horse, and he's the inspiration behind the embroidered patterns on the doors and seats. Furthermore, the machined aluminum gear shifter contains a glass insert with Brouillard's likeness sculpted within. The Bugatti Brouillard is the first creation from Bugatti's newly formed Solitaire program. To you and me, solitaire is a game we play when there's no internet, but to Bugatti, it's a way to deliver an even more personalized experience to its clients. It truly sounds like the sky's the limit here, as Bugatti claims "... there will be no compromise to performance, quality or design. Each ... Solitaire will be unique and peerless, offering a level of attention to detail not found in even the most exclusive automotive creations." We'll take its word for it! The Solitaire program will only produce two cars per year, and these will be based on existing Bugatti chassis and powertrains. The real focus will be on bespoke bodywork and cabin details. EV Company Everrati Unveils New 993-Generation Porsche 911-Based Model

There are more than a few methods of automotive preservation in our current era, and among the most tech-forward is by United Kingdom-based Everrati Automotive Limited. Rather than strictly following the norms and folkways of maintaining originality, this company preserves the core fundamentals in certain iconic cars' driving characteristics, yet with an eco-friendly twist: dropping the internal combustion engine (ICE) in favor of its own tailored EV powertrain. And, wrapped in a ground-up re-engineering of the entire vehicle, complete with bespoke luxury customization. Everrati's made a name for itself with its 964-generation Porsche 911-based creations, one of which I had the privilege of driving for a different publication a few months back. I was pleasantly surprised by how true to the original 911 formula it was, between its beautiful steering, braking, and handling. Plus, more than enough power to walk any one of the 964's original iterations in the quarter mile. Now, the company's unveiled that it's now working with 993-generation-based 911s, the generation that came after the 964 and before the water-cooled 996. Think: Quintessential '90s Porsche styling and driving. And if it follows the same fun-to-drive formula as the 964, it could be the best sports car it's created, yet. The 993 is widely regarded as the pinnacle air-cooled 911, with its compact and lightweight (for its era) construction, improved structural rigidity, and just-modern-enough accouterments. Everrati's 993 will take the form of an initial, nine-unit run dubbed the Founders Edition that pays design homage to the generation's Turbo S, of which only 345 were ever made. It will err on the side of luxury grand touring with a bespoke tailored interior, emphasis on refinement in its driving experience, and harness the latest EV technology derived from motorsports duty. What's particularly appealing to some discerning enthusiasts, is the ability to savor their very own Turbo S without costly maintenance. Or, any other potential trouble keeping it alive for future generations to appreciate. 'The Porsche 911 (993) Founders Edition is for those who missed their chance to own an air-cooled Turbo S or those who want to relive it, responsibly,' says Everrati Founder & CEO, Justin Lunny. 'These cars hold stories. They were never just machines; they were memories in motion. But most classics weren't built for the long haul, not without help at least. With this redefined 993, we're giving people a way to preserve that emotional connection and still enjoy the drive, every day. It's the dream garage car you don't just have to admire, you can use it, pass it down, and keep it alive. That's what truly makes this a timeless classic.' There's no telling what emissions standards, parts availability, etc., will look like down the line. This helps alleviate these concerns, and, at the same time, increases interest from EV-focused circles and reduces enthusiasts' carbon footprint along the way.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS counter-suing Tottenham relating to Harry Kane's Bayern Munich move

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's car company INEOS Automotive is counter-suing Tottenham Hotspur for more than £1million. In legal documents filed to the High Court earlier this month, INEOS' lawyers have disputed Tottenham's claim from June, in which the Premier League club sued the company for £11million ($14.8m). Advertisement The legal dispute centres on the 'Official Partnership Agreement' between Tottenham and INEOS that was signed in December 2022. This agreement was intended to grant INEOS commercial sponsorship rights for almost five years, specifically relating to the 'INEOS Grenadier' brand in exchange for almost £17.5m in sponsorship fees, not including indexation. That sponsorship deal has now collapsed. Tottenham argued in their 'Particulars of Claim', filed to the High Court in June and seen by The Athletic, that they terminated the agreement on March 11 this year. They cited INEOS' failure to pay an indexation payment of almost £480,000, which was due by 16 August 2024, and a sponsorship fee of £5.1m, which was due by 1 December 2024, as well as another interest charge of almost £300,000. Tottenham's claim describes the failure to pay as a 'material breach of the agreement'. Tottenham have also claimed damages of more than £5.2m for breach of contract. INEOS has always maintained their right to terminate the agreement. In INEOS' 'Defence and Counterclaim', also seen by The Athletic, they argue that the company wrote to terminate the agreement in a letter dated December 6 2024, in effect from 30 June 2025. Their argument is that neither the indexation payment of almost £480,000 nor the sponsorship fee of £5.1m are therefore payable. INEOS further argue that Tottenham were 'not entitled to terminate the Agreement'. INEOS' counterclaim argues that Tottenham 'failed to grant' INEOS rights from 11 March 2025, when they wrote to INEOS to terminate the agreement, until 30 June 2025, 'when the Agreement terminated pursuant to the INEOS Termination Letter'. For these 112 days, INEOS has claimed damages of £1,073,972.60. The INEOS' counterclaim also makes reference to discussions between Tottenham and German car giant Audi at the time that Harry Kane was transferred from Tottenham to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023. The 'Defence and Counterclaim' starts by referring to a 'highly significant series of events' in which Tottenham 'started negotiating with a major competitor to INEOS'. The counterclaim argues that the club 'was not entitled to have discussions with a Competitor in connection with any rights which were the same as, or substantially similar to, the Rights granted to INEOS'. Advertisement The document states that, on August 3 2023, Tottenham's then-chief commercial officer Todd Kline told INEOS chairman Ashley Reed he 'had been in discussions' with Audi: 'According to Mr Kline, the discussions and/or negotiations related to a proposed transfer of the Club's player Harry Kane to the German club FC Bayern Munich.' According to the document, this led to discussions which brought about a new agreement between Tottenham and INEOS, under the terms of which INEOS had the right to terminate the agreement after its third year, provided that INEOS provided the Club with no less than six months' written notice.
