Apple iPhone 17 processor leaked again; the phone is now tipped to come with A19

Apple iPhone 17 may come powered by A19 chipset , according to an investor note shared by Apple analyst Jeff Pu (via MacRumlours). "We now expect the iPhone 17 model to be equipped with A19 (vs. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now earlier expectation of A18)," Pu said in the note. The analyst further states that the rumoured slim model – iPhone 17 Air will also run the same processor. While the Pro models – iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will likely be powered by 19 Pro chipset. Apple is likely to unveil the iPhone 17 series at a September event later this year. According to reports, Apple may bring some key display changes across all models. A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo claims Apple is planning thinner bezels, a redesigned Dynamic Island, and ProMotion support for all models in the lineup. Apple may unveil slimmer iPhone 17 Air This year, the Cupertino-based company is rumoured to replace the Plus variant with an all-new Air model. Likely to be called Apple iPhone 17 Air, the smartphone is said to come in the lightest shade of blue Apple has ever introduced. According to fresh Weibo tipster Fixed Focus Digital, iPhone 17 Air may be offered in super-pale colour that could look nearly white in certain lighting. The colour is expected to be part of four new colourways for the ultra-thin model. The tipster claims that the light blue iPhone 17 Air will be even paler than the blue found on the iPhone 15 series. It's so subtle, it might appear completely white under normal lighting conditions — similar to Samsung's Silverblue shade seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The iPhone 17 Air could feature a 120Hz refresh rate display — a first for Apple's non-Pro iPhones. However, unlike the ProMotion display tech seen in the Pro lineup, this version may not support variable refresh rate, possibly to preserve battery life. The handset may come powered by A19 chipset and run on the latest iOS 26 operating system.
