TV personality and design guru Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has passed on the ownership of his Cotswolds estate to his sons-in-law, following his struggle with a life-threatening experience.
In January, the 60-year-old design icon opened up about an "end of life crisis" he endured after a chilling encounter while filming for Netflix's Celebrity Bear Hunt, presented by Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls, which saw him lose consciousness during an aquatic stunt.

With his future in mind, the famed Changing Rooms presenter is "no longer lord of the manor" at the Cotswolds home, where he lives in the main house alongside his wife, Jackie, who is also 60, their daughter Hermione, aged 27, and her partner. His older daughter Cecile, 30, resides a stone's throw away within the estate with her husband and two children.

During the process of transferring ownership, Laurence had a humorous time detailing to solicitors the nature of his decision: "One of the most amusing things was having to sit down with a solicitor for them to assess whether Jackie and I were being coerced into this by our bullying sons-in-law. Our friends just can't believe it. They go, 'what happens if you all fall out?'".

Laurence, who boasts a net worth of £8 million, shared in the Sunday Times his disinterest in accumulating wealth for its own sake: "We're not going to be those old people sitting on a great big pile of cash. Terribly unhappy, terribly lonely," reports the Manchester Evening News.

He added: "Owning a lot of stuff but not actually having the benefit of it. We are very, very privileged, but we have made this decision. We have manifested this life."
He went on to disclose a surprising detail about his family's property arrangements, with Hermione saying: "Hilariously, Cecile and I aren't on the deeds, because we inherit it anyway - it's actually the husbands.'"
Discussing a harrowing experience on Bear Grylls' Celebrity Bear Hunt that aired in February, Laurence opened up about the frightening moment he faced during the filming. While participating in a water challenge in Costa Rica, the then-59 year old interior designer got entangled in a bungee line and was dragged beneath the boat, staying submerged for a terrifying length of time until the show's safety crew pulled him out unconscious.

Prior to joining the extreme reality show, he revealed his wife's opinion on the matter: "She feels it's got midlife crisis written all over it, although, as I keep telling her, I'm too old to have a midlife crisis, this is more like an end of life crisis."
Expressing his wife's envy towards his adventure, he said: "She's actually, frankly, incredibly jealous. She would love to do it and has always been mildly irritated that no one's ever asked her to do something like this."
He also mentioned his wife's readiness for emergencies, noting: "Because she literally has always had in her handbag, a SAS Survival Guide, to get herself out of all sorts. I meant to bring it actually and again, how foolishly, I completely forgot."

The Mail reports that Laurence invited his family to stay at his spacious Cotswolds estate after he and wife Jackie realised the house was too large just for the two of them, remarking they "were rattling around the house like dried peas in a luxury tin".
As the house filled with family life, the star reflected on the changes, sharing: "We certainly aren't sliding into our sixtieth year with boredom calling. We want to use our time wisely and valuably. The way you design your world helps the way you feel.
"We have our big manor house filled with children and pieces of brightly coloured plastic and Peppa Pig again." For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter

Laurence then mused about embracing this phase of life, adding: "I think its something that more and more people should be doing, for us boomers generation we're all sort of surprised we've made it to 60.
"I think everyone thought we would live fast and die young rather than live very, very slowly and die really quite old."

She attended both Dublin gigs over the weekend, the first time she has seen her sons back on stage since the Oasis Live 25 tour began. ‌ In an interview in June, Peggy was asked if she had anything to do with the reunion between Noel and Liam. She said: 'I was the instigator, yes. But sure, wasn't it always going to happen at some time or other? 'It was their choice, of course. Look you can't force them to do things they don't want to do'. She confessed she was relieved to see her sons working together again, following a years-long rift between the two. 'It's great, because nobody wants their kids falling out, do they?' she said, although she admitted to being nervous about the shows and would be 'glad when it's all just over because it makes me get too stressed.' I'm generalising dad's there because dads give cuddles as well. but if I needed bringing down a peg or to she could do that, as well as elevate me.' Fans had been spotted on the street and taking snaps outside the home and visit a piece of Oasis history. However, in order to protect their mum Peggy, Noel and Liam have hired security to watch her and her house.

Noel Gallagher's daughter Anais shares Oasis snap after enjoying concert with Peggy

Music fans flocked to Croke Park in Dublin to watch Oasis take to the stage - with lead singer Noel Gallagher's daughter, Anaïs Gallaghe, among the electric crowds Anaïs Gallagher had a marvellous time watching her father performing on stage at one of Oasis's hugely successful reunion tour gigs. The 25-year-old model and photographer is the daughter of 58-year-old Noel Gallagher and his ex-wife Meg Mathews, 59. ‌ And she looked very proud of her old pops as she joined tens of thousands of other music lovers at Croke Park, Dublin, over the weekend. Singing along in the crowd, Anaïs belted out the classic Oasis track, Live Forever, and shared footage of herself via Instagram Stories. ‌ She then uploaded a snap of her dad alongside her 52-year-old uncle Liam Gallagher, as they sang on stage to the delight of Oasis fans. Saturday night marked the first of two nights for the boys performing at the iconic Irish venue. It comes after her cousin Lennon skipped the Dublin shows and headed to Ibiza with his girlfriend. ‌ Noel looked focused as he performed on stage, and with Anaïs adding a heart hand emoji over her snap. Saturday's gig proved to be quite the family affair, as Liam and Noel's mother, Peggy, also travelled to Ireland to see the chart-topping band perform again. Liam even dedicated the performance of Stand By Me to his mum, telling the audience: "This one I want to dedicate to my mum, my mum is here tonight." The singer later dedicated Roll With It to the people of Charlestown, Co Mayo, where his mother hails from. Mid-song, he turned to the upper tiers where she was expected to have been sitting and blew kisses as he mouthed: 'I love you.' Peggy, 92, had previously discussed her plan to attend the Oasis Live'25 tour but avoided the all-standing Manchester shows that took place previously. Heading to Ireland, she could see her sons on stage from the comfort of a box when they played in Dublin. In an interview in June, Peggy was asked if she had anything to do with the reunion between Noel and Liam. She said: "I was the instigator, yes. But sure, wasn't it always going to happen at some time or other? It was their choice, of course. Look, you can't force them to do things they don't want to do." ‌ She confessed she was relieved to see her sons working together again, following a years-long rift between the two. Peggy has been spending time with both Noel and Liam in the run-up to the live tour, and was on holiday with Liam and his partner Debbie in the South of France earlier in the year when Liam was on vocal rest. Speaking in the Sunday Times in 2019, Liam said: "Any good that comes out of me is all from Peggy and all her sisters and brothers Oasis fans were stunned last year when brothers Liam and Noel confirmed they had buried the hatchet and would be touring for the first time since 2009. The brothers spectacularly fell out live on stage at the time and previously vowed never to perform together again. ‌ But the Oasis Live '25 Tour has been a smash hit - with critics and fans alike applauding the band for performing better than ever before. The Dublin gigs have been praised by fans, with Croke Park's doors opening again at 5pm on Sunday night for a second round of hits. First support act, Cast, were due to take to the stage at 6pm, followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm. Oasis, will walk out at 8.15pm on the dot, with the concert finishing at 10:15pm.
