John Cena Reacts To R-Truth's WWE Departure
John Cena pays tribute to R-Truth.
On Sunday, R-Truth made the unfortunate announcement that he was being released by WWE. The move came as a shock to everyone, as Truth had been considered a 'lifer' by many. He had been with WWE for the past 17 years, and also had another run in the company from 1999 to 2001, with a successful run in TNA in-between then.

Many of R-Truth's peers, including Rhea Ripley and Kevin Owens, shared their support for Truth after they heard the news about his WWE departure. Another very important figure in Truth's career, John Cena, also acknowledged Truth's status by posting a message on his Instagram account. Normally, Cena shares 'cryptic' images without captions, which he says is a chance for the fans to interpret themselves. However, it doesn't seem like anything is up for debate here:
John Cena and R-Truth recently worked together
John Cena was R-Truth's final feud in WWE. The pair wrestled each other at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on May 24. Truth had a long-running bit where he referred to Cena as his 'childhood hero.' This was despite being five years older than the current WWE Champion. (An in-character) John Cena acknowledged that this didn't make any sense, either.

Truth was disappointed in his hero's recent heel turn, and said he might not be successful, but wanted to try and bring back the Cena everyone knew and loved. For the match, R-Truth adopted a 'babyface' Cena look, changing his name to 'Ron Cena' for the night.

Huge blow as Chelsea star ruled out of Euro 2025
Chelsea defender Millie Bright has ruled herself out of England's Euro 2025 squad for this summer's tournament. Bright's decision comes ahead of Sarina Wiegman's squad announcement, with the 31-year-old admitting she is not 'able to give 100%' physically or mentally' to the Lionesses. England begin their Euro 2025 campaign against France on July 5th. 'This is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, but after careful thought and discussions with my team, I have decided to withdraw from selection for the England squad ahead of Euro 2025,' Bright said in an Instagram post. Advertisement 'Football has given me so much, and representing my country has always been my greatest honour. My pride and ego tells me to go but I think the team and the fans deserve more. Right now, I'm not able to give 100 per cent mentally or physically.' Bright's announcement follows the decisions of Mary Earps and Fran Kirby to retire from international duty. Earps has called time on her career with the Lionesses after being replaced as number one goalkeeper. Wiegman's squad will now be absent of several leaders from the squad's that won the European Championship in 2022 and reached the World Cup final in 2023. Bright captained the side at that latter tournament in the absence of injured Arsenal star Leah Williamson. The former has won 88 caps for the national team. Is Instagram the New Celebrity Dating App?
As the official start to summer approaches, many singles are on the hunt for a romantic partner to spend the season with. Some may be on the prowl at parties or swiping through dating apps, others may be shooting their shot on Instagram. For celebrities in particular, Instagram has become an unexpectedly successful matchmaker, with a growing number of high-profile couples crediting their love stories to private messages sent on the app. In December 2022, the country singer Kelsea Ballerini sent a direct message on Instagram to the actor Chase Stokes at 1:07 a.m.: 'hiii chase stokes.' A little over two hours later, the actor responded, 'Hey there how u doin.' They've been in a relationship for more than two years. Kyle Kuzma, the stylish N.B.A. player, sent the model Winnie Harlow a message on Instagram in 2019 and reached out again in spring 2020. She hadn't seen his first message, but she saw the second and replied. In December, they became engaged. The actress Vanessa Hudgens sent a message to Cole Tucker, a former baseball player, after spotting him in a virtual meditation session led by Jay Shetty. 'I get on the Zoom, and I'm like, 'Who is that?'' she shared on 'The Drew Barrymore Show.' 'If I want something or someone, I'm going after them. I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, 'Hey, it was nice to meet you.'' They married in November 2023. Natalie Joy DM'd the former 'Bachelor' Nick Viall in September 2019, after one of Mr. Viall's Instagram photos popped up on Ms. Joy's Explore page: 'You're unreal,' she wrote. In April 2024, they married. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.

Her priority was clear — to raise money and awareness for the plight of cancer victims. In just 46 hours, she helped raise more than $1 million for cancer charities here and in London. On her first day, Princess Diana spoke at a breast cancer symposium at Northwestern University in the morning, toured Cook County Hospital's trauma unit, children's emergency room and pediatric intensive care unit in the afternoon, then attended a black-tie fundraising dinner with dancing — her first dance with talk show host Phil Donahue — at the Field Museum. The epic affair rivaled the Bulls' first game in the NBA Finals against the Seattle SuperSonics at the United Center.
