Josh Hutcherson Hints That Mike's Nightmare Isn't Over Yet In Five Nights At Freddy's 2
Following the trailer launch of Five Nights at Freddy's 2 at San Diego Comic Con 2025, Josh Hutcherson mentioned that there will be many more animatronic characters this time.
The makers of Five Nights at Freddy's 2 have just dropped the first full trailer, packed with even more creepy fun and terrifying animatronics. Based on the hit video game series, the sequel sees Josh Hutcherson returning as Mike Schmidt, the former night security guard. Following the trailer's debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Hutcherson teased what's to come, revealing that fans can expect a lot more animatronic characters this time around. When asked which animatronic he'd choose to inhabit, he jokingly picked Cupcake because, as he put it, 'it sounds fun to be carried around."
As per People, Hutcherson said, 'Mike and Abby went through a lot in the first movie. Mike is just trying to find a stable life. He wants to have a nice, calm, normal life. And that just can't happen, Poor Mike. He's going through it. But the bond between Mike and Abby is super strong. And they get to a place where it's even stronger."
Josh Hutcherson shared that Five Nights at Freddy's 2 will have 'a lot more animatronics" and 'bigger set pieces." Even though these robot-like figures look scary, he said there's one that he actually wouldn't mind pretending to be at Comic Con. The actor said, 'I'm gonna go with Cupcake, because then I get carried around, it just sounds nice. There's a lot of walking here."
Director Emma Tammi shared that she feels very connected to the characters in the movie and was happy to explore their stories even more in the second part. She said working on the sequel gave her a chance to dig deeper into their world. She also pointed out that this time, there are more animatronics and much more action.
As per the official synopsis, 'The first film, which opened to a record-shattering $80 million and went on to earn almost $300 million worldwide, followed Mike, a troubled young man who reluctantly takes a job as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, hoping it will help him retain custody of his young sister. That fateful decision instead drags him into the black heart of a supernatural nightmare."
Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is scheduled to release on December 5.

Kapil Sharma's Weight Loss Journey Wasn't Easy: ‘He Was Sleep-Deprived,' Says Trainer
In a recent interview, Kapil Sharma's fitness trainer - Yogesh Bhateja opened up about how he trained the actor and comedian. He mentioned that the transformation was not easy. Kapil Sharma has surprised many with his recent weight loss, and now his fitness trainer, Yogesh Bhateja, is opening up about how it all happened. The transformation wasn't easy; the actor and comedian had trouble sleeping and followed an irregular diet, making the journey quite challenging. In a YouTube interview on Mad Over Growth with Nitin Bajaj, Yogesh, who has also trained celebrities like Farah Khan, Kangana Ranaut, and Sonu Sood, talked about how the journey began. He shared that Sonu Sood introduced him to Kapil Sharma during the promotions of Happy New Year. Soon after, Kapil's manager contacted Yogesh, saying that the comedian was ready to start his fitness journey. Yogesh started training Kapil at his home, using basic tools like a yoga mat, resistance bands, and Kapil's treadmill. More gym equipment was added later. Watch the video here. Recalling the first day of training, Yogesh said, 'The story of Day 1 is actually pretty funny. I asked him to do stretches, and because he hadn't moved his body in a long time, even simple movements like arm rotations, body twists, and toe touches caused him discomfort. His expressions were so exaggerated and comic… From the very next day, he was back on schedule, and we began with basic movements. That's when I realised how stiff his body had become; there was no food discipline, and a lot of inflammation in his body." He also shared that Kapil's busy work life made things worse. 'Since Kapil was the main guy, the responsibility on him was even greater. He was sleep-deprived, his diet had no set pattern, and he would eat at odd times. There was no discipline. It took me a long time, along with his manager and team, to bring some alignment into his lifestyle. But by God's grace, when his film came out, everyone saw the difference on screen," Yogesh added. As for his meals, Yogesh made changes by adding more fish, calling it 'a great source of protein that helps manage calories." He also included a good amount of vegetables in Kapil's diet. Fans first noticed Kapil's slimmer look in April this year, when he was seen at the airport looking much fitter. While his weight has gone up and down in the past, he's now in great shape and regularly posts stylish photos on social media. On the work front, Kapil is currently hosting Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show on Netflix.
