Wynne Evans has appeared on This Morning, to explain "his side" of the story behind the Strictly Come Dancing scandals. During the interview with This Morning Wynne did not hold back on his criticism of the BBC.
Since the scandals which included Wynne making an inappropriate comment towards host Janette Manrara, Wynne putting his hand on his professional dance partner Katya Jones's waist and her removing it on Strictly Come Dancing and sending fellow Strictly celebrity EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick a sex toy, while on tour, Wynne has not had his BBC radio show contract renewed.
After the comment incident, which took place during the launch of the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, the BBC issued an apology on Wynne's behalf.
Wynne says he did not give permission for this to happen.
He said: "I said 'oh God, I'm sorry', they took that as an apology, they didn't run it by me, they sent it off to the newspaper, they printed that as my apology and that's the situation I was in.

Wynne also claims he was forced to cut his apology video for the hand incident short.
He said: "We did this apology video and it was 50 seconds long. I remember saying to the people at Strictly oh look, we've done this video... they said you can't put that out, that's too long, just make it 10 seconds.
"It turns into some kind of hostage-style video where I am in the background going 'sorry'..."
Finally, Wynne claims he has been offered no support from the BBC with his mental health following his exit.
He said: "I haven't heard from them since I got suspended, to me, I haven't heard from them, they've only spoken to my lawyers."
After This Morning host Ben Shephard read out a reply from the BBC, saying they had offered Wynne support, Wynne said he wasn't aware of the support.

Wynne said if he could do anything differently he would not do Strictly Come Dancing as it was not a "safe environment" for him.

'There's a deep belief in connecting human beings with communities, with agriculture, with sustainability, management of waste, management of energy, and he has done it for the last 45, 50 years.' Speaking about filming at the King's Scottish retreat, the Castle of Mey, which once belonged to his grandmother the Queen Mother, Blanc added: 'I really believe he got all his values seeing his grandma in this beautiful space. 'So natural, close to the sea, at the tip of Scotland where there was such a reservoir of natural things.' Blanc's words were echoed by Penny Lancaster who praised the monarch for creating the awards and highlighting the needs of the planet throughout his adult life. She added: 'The King may have been accused of hugging trees and people thinking he was mad when he started talking about the environment all that time ago, but he was at the forefront then and now has been proved right with everything he said and now we're all just trying to play catch up. 'I really recognise the beauty in the way he is trying to get us on board with his knowledge and if we can pass that on to the younger generation, and save some of the traditional skills like we've seen with these winners today, we can all be a part of making a difference.' The King's Foundation, previously known as The Prince's Foundation following an amalgamation of Charles' charities which stretch back to 1990, aims to 'advocate for the change His Majesty wants to see in the world'. The Emerging Talent prize was presented by Beckham, the former England football captain rumoured to be knighted soon, to Emily Hurst who has shown exceptional talent and commitment while on a King's Foundation programme. She recently completed the Chanel and King's Foundation Metiers d'Art Fellowship in Millinery, based at Highgrove Gardens after she had become fascinated with the heritage craft of straw braiding and began learning to produce hats from the material. She said: 'Working at Highgrove was absolutely the best place to be, surrounded by so much inspiration from His Majesty's garden and learning from some of the best milliners with country, I'm so incredibly honoured.'

A British influencer and his husband are among those feared dead after an Air India plane heading to London Gatwick smashed into a college with hundreds on board. As reported by the Mirror, Meek, 45, and Greenlaw, 39, co-founded the Wellness Foundry, a company promoting holistic living. The couple, who are based in London, had been on a holiday in India and had previously made appearances on ITV's This Morning to showcase their wellness brand. The final video shared from the airport showed the couple in vibrant floral shirts, smiling and relaxed as they prepared to fly home. In the clip, Fiongal says, 'We are at the airport just boarding. Goodbye India. Ten-hour flight back to England. What was your biggest takeaway Jamie?' to which Jamie replies, 'I don't know,' prompting laughter from Fiongal who responds 'thanks for your contribution.' Fiongal then jokingly says his takeaway was 'don't lose your patience with your partner,' to which Jamie replied 'you snapped at me at the airport for having chai.' Earlier videos captured highlights of their time in Ahmedabad, including scenes from a luxury hotel following a long car journey. Fiongal can be seen in one clip stretched out on a large bed, showcasing a swing in their room, calling the space 'beautiful' and adding he is 'feeling very, very happy.' The couple are believed to have spent two weeks in India, documenting their travels through numerous social media updates. Their shared content included moments such as getting henna tattoos, shopping for textiles, and navigating bustling streets in a tuk-tuk. Fiongal posted a message just one day before the crash marking the end of their trip: 'So, it's our last night in India and we've had a magical experience. Some mind-blowing things have happened. We are going to put all this together and create a vlog. It's my first ever vlog about the whole trip and we want to share it.' Of the 242 people onboard Air India Flight 171, at least 204 bodies have been recovered from the crash site near Ahmedabad Airport, a local police chief said. Part of the jet fell on top of the dining area of B.J. Medical College, killing at least five medical students and injuring almost 50. Miracolously, British national Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, who was onboard the flight says he survived the deadly crash. Tata Sons, which owns Air India, will offer around £86,000 to the families of each person who died in the Ahmedabad plane crash, the company said.
