Aaron Rodgers will work out in Malibu with Steelers players
Aaron Rodgers didn't have much time to practice with the Steelers before they wrapped up their offseason program, but the quarterback will get some more reps in with his teammates before training camp.
Rodgers, who signed with the Steelers just before their three-day mandatory minicamp closed out their offseason, said on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday that he will have some Steelers players out to Malibu to work out with him next week.

"We have some guys coming out next week, so it'll be fun to spend a little time with them. . . . Some of these guys might wanna get dressed up because of the f-ing paparazzi," Rodgers said.
There was never much harmony between Rodgers and the rest of the Jets offense during the 2024 season, so the Steelers will be hoping that this summer's workouts will put everyone on the same page ahead of the start of the regular season.

If Aaron Rodgers doesn't want attention, why is he doing Pat McAfee's show in June?
Always be leery of people who voluntarily appear on a very public platform and declare, 'I don't want attention.' That's what Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers did on Tuesday. There was no reason for him to appear on Pat McAfee's show. But Rodgers nevertheless became the center of attention in order to again make the case that he doesn't want to be the center of attention. He made the comments specifically in the context of his plan to disappear once he's done playing. 'I don't want the attention — I know that's a narrative out there,' Rodgers said. 'When this is all done, it's Keyser Söze. You won't see me. I won't be in the public. I don't want to live a public life. That's why it's so strange, what's going on right now in my private life, because I don't want to live a life in the public eye. I'm not gonna be in the public eye. When this is done, I'm done. You won't see me, and I'm looking forward to that.' Then why are we seeing you now? Why are you doing a late June video interview on ESPN? And why do you plan to continue to do them each and every Tuesday during the season, even though everything you say can and potentially will become a distraction for the Steelers? At one point, former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger did a weekly interview on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh. He said plenty of things. Those things from time to time created issues for the team. Eventually, he stopped. If Rodgers truly doesn't want attention, he shouldn't do McAfee's show. He shouldn't do any media other than his mandatory press conferences. So, no, we don't believe Rodgers will disappear. He might believe it when he says it. We won't believe it until he does it. And there's no problem if he wants to have a podcast or otherwise be visible after he's done playing. He just shouldn't act like he's not going to do it then, when he continues to do it now.

Aaron Rodgers defends his wife amid increased interest in their personal life
Aaron Rodgers wants his personal life to stay private. The 41-year-old NFL star appeared on the June 24 episode of the 'Pat McAfee Show' where he slammed the media for their lack of 'common decency' in their coverage of his and his wife's personal life. The appearance comes two weeks after he confirmed that he secretly wed his wife, Brittani, earlier this year. 'I know that I've chosen to be in the public eye for one more season, but my private life is staying private,' he said, referring to the one-year contract he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on June 7. He called the 'entitlement to information' about his private life is 'ridiculous and embarrassing.' Rodgers went on to describe today's society as 'sick' and questioned when it became a 'norm' to release an athlete's personal information to the public. 'What happened to common decency about security and a personal life?' Rodgers asked. 'It's a norm to be able to have athletes' addresses?' The future Hall of Famer, who revealed that he's likely to retire from the NFL after this season, said that his privacy has been invaded on multiple occasions throughout the offseason. He slammed members of the media (and fans) for calling the paparazzi on him, stalking him on the beach, leaking the address of his newly-purchased Pittsburgh property and asking about his 'private' wife. 'I didn't want any of that, didn't like any of that,' he said of the lack of privacy. 'And now I'm with somebody who's private.' The invasion of privacy has him certain that this will be his final year in the spotlight. 'I told you, when this is all done, I'm out. You won't see me,' he said of the upcoming NFL season, which kicks off on Sept. 7 when the Steelers play Rodgers' former team, the New York Jets. Rodgers says his new wife 'didn't sign up to be a celebrity' Rodgers confirmed that he's a married man in a press conference with reporters following his first practice as a Steeler. 'Yeah, it's a wedding ring,' the quarterback replied after being asked about a ring on that finger — further clarifying that the two got married 'a couple of months' ago. During his June 24 interview, Rodgers clarified that his vie for privacy was as much for his wife as it was for him. He described Brittani as a 'private person' who 'doesn't have social media' and 'didn't sign up to be a celebrity' and has no interest in being in the public eye. For that reason, Rodgers said the public will only see her when she wants to be seen. 'If and when she wants to be out, and there's a picture, she'll choose that and she deserves the right to that,' he explained. Rodgers then referenced his past relationships, including Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley, and asked, 'How did that work out?' — referring to the end of those two relationships. The monologue came more than five months after Rodgers first revealed that he was seeing someone. During a Dec. 23 appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show,' Rodgers was discussing how his Christmas shopping tactics have evolved from mall shopping to online shopping. 'There was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn't showed up yet,' he said of some gifts he ordered at the time — which caught host Pat McAfee off guard as it was his first mention of Brittani. Rodgers went on to clarify that Brittani doesn't watch the show and doesn't have social media. The crew joked that Rodgers was 'in love,' to which the quarterback replied, 'It's a good feeling, boys.'
