DEVILS' DEALS Benjamin Sesko just Man Utd's EIGHTH top earner and on under half Casemiro's wages as stars' salaries revealed
BENJAMIN SESKO will join Manchester United as their EIGHTH highest-paid player, despite being bought to lead the line for the Red Devils.
Sesko, 22, has arrived in Manchester for his medical ahead of completing a deal worth up to £73.8MILLION with RB Leipzig.

The striker will join Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in Ruben Amorim's new-look attack for the upcoming season as the United boss tries to improve on last term's turgid campaign.
It will be a coup for United, who weren't expected to be able to attract such a sought-after star following their failure to secure European football last season.
And it appears they haven't just thrown money at the situation in a bid to convince Sesko to snub transfer rivals Newcastle United and head to Old Trafford.
According to reports, Sesko will be earning £160,000-per-week at United - a relatively modest sum in the context of the Red Devils' cash-flowing dressing room.

Make no mistake about it, bagging £160,000 every week is still mega money, but at Man Utd that would mean Sesko is just the eighth highest earner.
However, the Slovenian's wage is thought to be in line to increase to £200,000 if Man Utd reach the Champions League, a figure that would make him the fifth top earner at the club.
According to Spotrac, Casemiro currently takes home the biggest cheque at the end of the week.
The 33-year-old Brazilian is earning an eye-watering £350,000-PER-WEEK for United.

Wantaway winger Jadon Sancho and injury-troubled Mason Mount, who made just eight league starts last season, both trail right behind the pair on £250,000-a-week too.

Making up the top five earners is Matthijs de Ligt, who takes home a package worth £195,000-per-week.
New arrivals Mbeumo and Cunha are on £150,000-a-week and £180,000-a-week respectively after tying their future to the Theatre of Dreams this summer.
Other notable salaries include Antony's £105,000 pay packet despite being surplus to requirements and Luke Shaw's £150,000-per-week wages despite his own injury issues.

Some players are earning far less than may be expected for their impact on the team, such as Kobbie Mainoo's affordable £25,000-per-week contract and Patrick Dorgu's £40,000-a-week earnings.
Alejandro Garnacho's relatively small £50,000-per-week wages could be one reason that he is seen as an attractive prospect to potential buyers this summer.
Garnacho has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Chelsea over a move this summer, with the winger ready to jump ship from United after a frustrating year.

Rangers head coach Russell Martin has named his starting XI for the Scottish Premiership clash against Dundee at Ibrox this evening (kick-off: 5.45pm) as his side look to take their first three points of the season. The Gers were denied an opening day win for the third season in succession last week when Motherwell's Emmanuel Longelo's 87th strike cancelled out James Tavernier's early header at Fir Park, though an impressive 3-0 win over Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League qualifiers on Tuesday helped lift some of the gloom in Govan. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Nicolas Raskin was left out of Rangers Champions League qualifier against Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday night. | SNS Group As for the evening's visitors, Dundee, it has been a tough start to the campaign under new head coach Steven Pressley. Crashing out of the Premier Sports Cup at the group stage, they lost 2-1 in their opening game of the season against Hibs at Dens Park last weekend. In further bad news, talisman and captain Simon Murray has been ruled out of the game at Ibrox with a knee injury. Cesar Garza (head) and Charlie Reilly (shoulder) are also out of the clash at Ibrox. After being left out of the starting XI in the midweek game against Viktoria Plzen, Rangers captain Tavernier and Nicolas Raskin remain on the substitutes bench. Thelo Aasgaard and Hamza Igamane are still missing with knocks, while long-term absentee Dujon Sterling will be ruled out until at least the new year with a ruptured Achilles tendon. Martin keeps faith with Cyriel Dessers in the forward position after his goal-scoring return in midweek, new signing Oliver Antman begins on the right-hand side of midfield, while Lyall Cameron is handed his first league start against his former club.

‘Pack your bags, buddy' – Fans fear for Man Utd star as he is completely snubbed in Fiorentina clash

The Red Devils took on the Italian side at Old Trafford on Saturday. The game came too soon for new arrival Benjamin Sesko. Sesko, 22, completed his £74million switch from RB Leipzig on the morning of the match. But even with the striker unavailable, it was bad news for Rasmus Hojlund. READ MORE ON MAN UTD UNITED RATINGS Mbeumo eases pressure on Fernandes but Cunha lacks sharpness vs Fiorentina Mason Mount started in a false No9 role in between Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, who were unveiled on the pitch alongside Sesko and Diego Leon. But even when Mount was subbed off, he was replaced by Manuel Ugarte. That meant Hojlund, 22, remained an unused sub on the bench as Rubem Amorim overlooked the £72m Danish man. And United supporters took to social media to react to the fact that the manager ignored his most senior available striker in their last pre-season clash ahead of next weekend's opener against Arsenal. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS One said: "He's not subbing Hojlund on - pack your bags buddy." Another wrote: "Rip the No9 off him and stick it on Sesko." Benjamin Sesko is paraded around Old Trafford after completing £74million transfer A third added: "Hojlund not even getting sympathy minutes off the bench now, he's being shipped to bomb squad." A fourth commented: "Hojlund didn't get any minute. Sure he's leaving aye?" And a fifth typed: "Has Ruben decided to sell Rasmus Hojlund?" Hojlund, who arrived from Atalanta in 2023, managed four Premier League goals last season. But he looks set to play second-fiddle to Sesko if he sticks around at Old Trafford this term. The luckless forward, though, could leave before the transfer window closed. United are willing to cut their losses and want around £40m - and could get close to that if a deal can be struck with AC Milan. MAN UTD PLAYER RATINGS: Bryan Mbeumo eases pressure on Bruno Fernandes but Matheus Cunha lacks sharpness vs Fiorentina BRYAN MBEUMO showed fans what they've been missing as Manchester United beat Fiorentina 5-4 on penalties in their final pre-season friendly. United were a mixed bag in their final summer warm-up game- and the only one at Old Trafford - before the start of the new season next Sunday. United unveiled their four new signings but it was Benjamin Sesko - who was announced from RB Leipzig before kick-off - that got the loudest roar from fans. And this match proved how much they needed him... Here's how SunSport's Man Utd reporter Katherine Walsh rated the players... The San Siro giants are reportedly keen to take Hojlund on loan with a £35m option to buy him next summer. But the ex-Copenhagen man insists he is ready to battle for minutes under Amorim this term. Speaking during the trip to USA, Hojlund said: 'The club has told me nothing so far. 'The most important thing for me is just to keep working hard and stay focused and then obviously we'll see what happens. 'My plan is very clear and that is for me to stay and fight for my spot, whatever happens. 'Last season was a bit rough and I've tried to sharpen myself over the course of the holidays. 'It was a tough season on us all. I should have done better, everybody knows."
