The Walker Art Center is ready for the move to outdoor events.
In addition to unveiling dates for its Skyline Mini Golf late last month, it has revealed its slate of free summertime events, which includes the return of Sound for Silents.

Other events throughout the summer include events for the Walker's Free Thursday Nights, which opens the museum to all visitors every Thursday from 5–9 p.m.

'With Love, Meghan' Season 2 trailer pokes fun at Prince Harry

Duchess Meghan is cooking up something new. Season 2 of the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle show "With Love, Meghan" will hit Netflix on Aug. 26, the streamer has announced. A trailer for the new season released on Tuesday, Aug. 12, teased the next batch of guests set to join Duchess Meghan on her cooking and interview series. The season will feature Chrissy Teigen, Christina Tosi, Clare Smyth, Daniel Martin, David Chang, Heather Dorak, Jamie Kern Lima, Jay Shetty, José Andrés, Radhi Devlukia, Samin Nosrat and Tan France. "Meghan returns with a fun and heartwarming new season, welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists, and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery," Netflix's synopsis said. While the Season 2 trailer doesn't feature Prince Harry, he does get a mention when Duchess Meghan remarks that her husband doesn't like lobster. "And you married him?" José Andrés quips, getting a big laugh from Meghan. The first season of "With Love, Meghan" debuted in March to largely negative reviews from critics, who panned the show as "boring" and "vacuous." Inside Netflix's new major deal with Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan "So much of 'With Love, Meghan' is devoted to trying to gin up capital-M Meaning that Meghan seems to forget that the only reason anyone would do any of this — whether that's bake a cookie dappled with edible flowers or watch a lifestyle show — would be because it's fun," Daniel D'Addario wrote in a negative review for Variety, adding that "there isn't enough here to justify the running time, nor its star's belief we'll keep watching." But just days after the first season debuted in March, Netflix confirmed Season 2, which had already wrapped filming, was on the way. "With Love, Meghan" was released amid a partnership between Netflix and Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry. On Monday, Aug. 11, the couple's joint media venture, Archewell Productions, announced a multi-year extension for film and television projects with the streaming giant. The deal includes a new season of "With Love, Meghan" plus a holiday special for the show and a movie based on the romance book "Meet Me at the Lake." Duchess Meghan, authenticity and why she just can't win with new Netflix show "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision," Duchess Meghan said. Queen Elizabeth II's press secretary rips Prince Harry in scathing documentary: ‘Stop being the victim'

Prince Harry needs to stop portraying himself as 'the victim' because the public has had enough of hearing 'how awful his life is,' according to a former palace staffer. Ailsa Anderson, who had worked as the late Queen Elizabeth II's press secretary for 12 years, slammed the Duke of Sussex for his 'woe is me' antics in a scathing new documentary about the exiled royal. Speaking in Channel 5's documentary, titled 'Prince Harry: My Terrible Year,' Anderson — who had worked 'very closely' with the 'Spare' author before his royal exit — said the duke is 'too impulsive.' BBC News 'Stop being the victim and start being the hero of the piece, start writing your own script. I think people are just getting a little bit tired of how Prince Harry thinks the world is against him and how awful his life is,' said Anderon, who had worked for the late monarch from 2001 to 2013. 'I think trust is paramount in every walk of life, if you can't trust your family, who can you trust?' Advertisement Anderson further asserted that if King Charles and Prince William, who have both been totally estranged from the Sussexes for years, were to welcome Harry back, 'private information would then be leaked.' Still, the former royal staffer added that the Invictus Games founder was a 'very warm, engaging and kind person' who has simply lost his way. 4 Ailsa Anderson, who had worked for the late queen for 12 years, slammed the Duke of Sussex for his 'woe is me' antics. There needs to be forgiveness on both sides.' The Post has reached out to Harry's reps for comment. The duke sensationally left his role as patron at the African charity, which he had co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006, back in March following an internal dispute that sparked an investigation by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. 'I'm sure [the Sussexes] are not always easy to work with. She [Chandauka] weaponized Prince Harry's own words used against him, suggesting Harry has been a malevolent influence on the direction of the charity.' 4 Experts suggested that while the duke does want to reconcile with his loved ones, his 'ego' remains in the way. Maybe he can find a new mission,' she added. The Post has since confirmed that Harry is considering starting a new charity in the wake of the high-profile fiasco.

Some call the Sussexes' Netflix deal a demotion - but the company still sees them as a power couple

While we're all desperate to know what this new deal is really worth in dollars and pounds, one thing I can tell you for certain is that Prince Harry and Meghan want us to know they're delighted that Netflix again wanted to get a deal done. "Absolutely over the moon" is how it was described to me. But they'll also be aware of the attention it'll attract as we all try to pick apart what it means. Firstly because of that ongoing fascination in how they're making money since stepping away from royal life and losing financial support from the King, but also because of the recent reports that Netflix were intending to cut ties. Yes this is a different type of deal from their original one in 2020. Some have argued that a "first look deal" looks like a demotion from what they previously signed up to. With no real clarity on how much their original deal was worth, and no numbers being publicly thrown around this time, that is hard to judge. But talking to those who know something about these kinds of deals you do get a sense it could potentially be more lucrative than it looks on face value. With first look deals, yes there is often financial commitments from the likes of Netflix to get that first exclusive look at projects and first refusal. But there could be other significant monetary incentives for the Sussexes to sign. For example, when the Obamas signed a first look deal with Netflix, the streaming service agreed to pay the operational costs for their production company "Higher Ground". Could it be that Netflix are also now covering the costs of Archewell Productions? It's stating the obvious to say that Harry and Meghan continue to divide opinions, some wanting to watch their programmes from a place of respect and fondness, others as a reason to grumble about them. But signing on this latest dotted line shows Netflix still sees them as a power couple, who attract significant attention and are worthy of investment, whatever that really adds up to.
