Jurors heard the Miss Universe finalist was pinned down by Lawrence, who punched and bit her on her legs, arm and shoulder.
Lawrence, 33, is also accused of threatening to stab Chloe and her new boyfriend Bora Guccuk, who had called the model during the alleged attack in October 2022.
Prosecutor Sheilagh Davies said: "He threatened to stab Chloe and Bora. He threatened that he would assault them and threatened all sorts of things.
"That made Bora concerned not only for his own safety but for Chloe's as well."
The Old Bailey was told Bora could hear the model screaming "help me, help me" before he managed to contact police.
Chloe then managed to escape to the Berkeley Hotel to meet her friend, Alexandra Ivanovic.
During her evidence, the influencer said: "I genuinely thought I'm going to die."
Chloe later went to hospital where it was found one of the bite marks on her neck had "turned septic", it was said.
Jurors heard a slew of messages were recovered from Lawrence's phone that were sent just before the alleged assault.
He told her: 'I'll do everything in my power to f**k you up.
"You're a lying little whore, you said you were coming to me an hour-and-a-half ago."
The court was told the pair had been in a relationship for around six months between December 2021 and May 2022 but remained "on and off" after it ended.
Giving evidence, Chloe described their relationship as "narcissistic" adding: "You are addicted to the highs and lows. It is euphoric."
She told the court she was left with six bite marks and as a result she needed a tetanus shot and antibiotics.
Chloe also described Lawrence as "crazy" and claimed he pursued her while she was at the Cannes film festival and in Mykonos with friends.
Whisky merchant Lawrence denies one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The trial continues.

Teacher boasted to pupil about her love life and encouraged him to take cannabis

Charlotte Doman, a history teacher, also sent the boy, who can't be named, sexual messages and personal pictures on Instagram - including a photo of a tattoo on her thigh A history teacher who sent messages about her sexual encounters to a pupil on Instagram and encouraged him to drink alcohol and smoke cannabis with her has been struck off. Charlotte Doman, 34, has been banned from the classroom after a Teaching Regulation Agency panel heard she called the boy - referred to as Pupil A - her "little duck" and told him she loved him. The watchdog claimed Ms Doman wanted the lad to become her "sexual partner," allegations she denied. Ms Doman was employed at a secondary school in Grays, Essex, when she sent dozens of messages to Pupil A between April and May 2023. In one, she said: "You're not even legal or an adult or anything. Like, am I taking advantage of you? Some days it feels like you're taking advantage of me lol." In messages seen by the panel, she told him: "YOU have all the control in this relationship" and also said: "Love that you're still ignoring me. I'm gonna go get f***** up". She also told Pupil A details about her sexual relationships, the panel found, saying in an Instagram message: "One night I ended up with three different guys". The 34-year-old woman admitted she encouraged Pupil A to drink alcohol and smoke cannabis with her, and said in a statement: "I am unsure why any of this occurred. I certainly don't behave like this myself. I drink alcohol less than once a month and never to excess, and I've never taken drugs." She made comments about the pupil's appearance and messaged him saying: "I literally go get waxed every eight weeks for no one to appreciate it", the hearing was told. The panel heard Ms Doman encouraged Pupil A and his friends to "pull sickies" on a day she was off school, and at least once invited Pupil A to spend time alone with her. "Are you and the boys going to be okay if I have to be off sick? You could always pull sickies and we'll all just game at mine all day," she said in an Instagram message to Pupil A. The teacher admitted she had sent Pupil A messages outside of school hours and sometimes in the early hours of the morning, and acknowledged she told the pupil to "remove all trace" of her from his phone on May 22 that year. Ms Doman denied that her conduct was sexually motivated and said she saw Pupil A as "like her child", but the panel ruled on the contrary. The panel said it did not see any other reason as to why Ms Doman discussed her past sexual experiences, problems in her relationship and a graphic sexual extract from a book "other than if it were in pursuit of sexual gratification or in pursuit of a future sexual relationship". "The context of the majority of not imply that Ms Doman just simply saw Pupil A like her child", the panel said. The panel ruled Ms Doman's behaviour had a "seriously damaging" impact on Pupil A, his parents, the school and its wider community, and that her conduct "had the potential to influence Pupil A in a harmful way". Ms Doman was facing "difficulties" in her personal life at the time, the hearing was told, but the panel ruled that she "did not show sufficient insight in respect of the impact her conduct had on others". In a written conclusion published on Wednesday, Marc Cavey, on behalf of the Secretary of State, decided Ms Doman should be banned from teaching indefinitely, subject to a five-year review period.

We told how Monaghan, 43, was key in helping to cement the Glasgow-based Lyons' ties with the Kinahans, who have a £4million bounty on their heads in the US. Last night, the relative said: 'Ross was very, very close with the Irish guys and he had a very close relationship with them. 'The family have had a few phone calls from them to say, 'sorry for your loss'. 'The words they used were: 'We'll get it sorted'. 'Top Kinahan members who have already asked about the funeral and have asked about the dates. 'The bodies will be repatriated and there is talk about a joint funeral, although that's not certain.' American and Irish crimefighters are hunting Kinahan, 47, his godfather dad Christy, 67, and brother Christy Jnr, 43. Spanish cops are understood to potentially know the identity of the shooter but have not yet established which crew he was hired by. The hitman stormed Monaghan's rish pub in Fuengirola before blasting Lyons, 46, and close pal Monaghan in front of terrified holidaymakers who had just watched the Champions League final. Mobs from around the world - including from Morocco, Italy and the Balkans - are known to have bases in Spain and Dubai where key Lyons figures split their time. The FULL story of Scotland's biggest gangster Jamie 'The Iceman' Stevenson Coming This Sunday Scots cops have insisted the killings were not linked to the gang war in Glasgow and Edinburgh. But the Lyons family last night scotched false theories that the murders could have been a revenge attack by their long-term Glasgow rivals. But the Lyons have now scotched speculation that the double murder could have been a revenge attack by their long-term enemies. They believe another mob has used the turf feud raging here as a smokescreen for the killings. In a rare move aimed at preventing a further escalation in violence, the relative said: 'The family believe there are possibilities it is linked to trouble Ross had in Spain. 'Ross obviously has a lot of business out there and could be the people who ordered the hit have taken advantage of the situation in Scotland. We know Ross had lots of dealing with people out there and it could be something that's been bubbling under for a while. 5 Caged cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson Credit: Michael Schofield - The Sun Glasgow 5 Dubai-based ex-Rangers ultra Ross McGill, 31, nicknamed Miami Credit: Supplied 'But they have picked this time to act because there is an ongoing feud. 'They have seen an opportunity to use what's being going on here as a kind of camouflage, a tactical plan to act while these attacks in Edinburgh and Glasgow have been ongoing.' It is understood Spanish authorities have told the victims' families they have a strong idea who carried out the attacks. It now seems certain that Monaghan was the primary target when the assassin burst in to the pub at 11.30am after leaping from a car driven by an accomplice. Harrowing CCTV footage aired on Spanish TV showed him crawling for his life with blood soaking through his T-shirt while being pursued by the mystery gunman, who had just killed Lyons. Jail safety move for Daniel 2 Exclusive by Graham Mann TWO caged gunmen have been placed in isolation amid rising gangland tensions. Daniel clan hitman Raymond Anderson and Lyons shooter Billy 'Buff' Paterson have been shifted in a precautionary move by chiefs at HMP Shotts, Lanarkshire. The move follows the unconnected executions of Lyons kingpins Ross Monaghan, 43, and Eddie Lyons Jnr, 46, in Spain on Saturday. Anderson, 62, gunned down Michael Lyons, 21, in the notorious Lambhill garage shooting in Glasgow in 2006. Meanwhile Paterson, 45, was jailed for the murder of Daniel enforcer Kevin 'Gerbil' Carroll, 29, four years later. Last night, a jail source said: 'Anderson and Paterson are now both in isolation at HMP Shotts. 'The risk of attacks on them has never been higher. 'Even though it has been made clear the Daniels had nothing to do with what happened in Spain, there remains a risk.' Anderson was caged for at least 30 years with fellow gunman James McDonald. Paterson is said to be a powerful enforcer inside the tough nick. The Scottish Prison Service said: 'We manage people in our care in a way which best meets individual risks and needs, and supports safety, security and good order.' Lyons was shot in the chest at point-blank range and died instantly. At least four bullets were fired at cornered Monaghan inside. It is believed relatives were dismayed by a seeming lack of forensic activity at the scene following the bloodbath. The family member explained: 'The Spanish police said the reason for that is because they know who did it - although they have not told the family who they think it is.' Last night Spanish officials vowed the killer seen fleeing in a getaway car will be caught. Government representative Javier Salas said: 'I've no doubt that the person who caused the murders, who arrived and left the pub on foot with his face covered, will be identified and located, as happens in 90 per cent of cases in Malaga. 'Only one person entered and shot the two UK citizens who died practically on the spot.' Ex-Union Bears leader McGill is said to be out for revenge after being paid for £500,000 of cocaine with fake banknotes. A Police Scotland said previously: 'The investigation into the fatal shootings in Fuengirola is being carried out by Spanish police. We have no officers deployed within Spain. 'There is currently no intelligence to suggest the deaths of these two men in Spain are linked to recent criminal attacks in Scotland.' Monaghan was cleared over the 2010 execution of Daniel enforcer Kevin 'Gerbil' Carroll, who was gunned down in a car outside Asda in Robroyston, Glasgow. He moved to Spain after surviving a previous murder bid when he was shot outside a primary school in Penilee, Glasgow, in 2017.

Death of woman crushed by a hotel wardrobe remains under investigation after three years

The death of "kind and caring" Chloe Haynes remains under investigation three years after she was crushed to death by a wardrobe at a hotel. Chloe Haynes was pronounced dead in her hotel room following the incident on September 10, 2022. Despite initially arresting three men on suspicion of murder, authorities released them without charges, deeming the fatality an unfortunate accident. Chloe had travelled from the Welsh holiday park where she was working to stay at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool city centre. Liverpool Council's Environmental Health subsequently initiated an investigation. Yet it remains under investigation with the council offered no fixed timeline for its completion, merely confirming the ongoing nature of the probe. The need for answers has further been delayed as a pre-inquest review into Ms Haynes' mysterious demise has been put off, despite originally being scheduled with Liverpool Coroner's Office for Thursday, June 5, reports the Liverpool Echo. Chloe's mother, Nicola Williams, remains desperate to know the full circumstances behind the loss of her "petite and beautiful" daughter, whom she affectionately termed "birdy". Chloe, who had a twin brother and four siblings, had travelled to Liverpool for a night out from the Hafan y Mor Haven Holiday Park in Pwllheli, North Wales, where she was employed. Sharing a city centre hotel room with a workmate who later discovered her body, Chloe's tragic incident led to an alarm being raised. Miss Williams from Wrexham said : "Chloe left Pwllheli around 7.40pm and they went to the Adelphi, there was some sort of engagement party or something. By midnight, she had been drinking shots and so on and she was a bit drunk, so her friend has taken her back to the hotel to sleep it off and then he's gone back out. "It seems she has got up out of the bed confused, not knowing where she is, and she's opened the door of the wardrobe maybe thinking it is the toilet or the door to go back out of the room. It was a big, old, heavy wardrobe and it's fallen on her and crushed her windpipe." Miss Williams detailed that Chloe's colleague returned to find a distressing scene in the early hours, crying out for aid. Two fellow guests rushed to assist in lifting the wardrobe from Chloe, yet it was too late to revive her. It was these three individuals who were questioned by the police concerning Chloe's death. Wayne Kenny, a Bootle resident, described his shock at being arrested on suspicion of murder to the ECHO after he attempted to give Chloe CPR. Following Chloe's death, Mr Kenny said: "I was thinking could I get accused for something I haven't done, could they make a mistake? To be thinking that for 10 hours was hard work. " Miss Williams, speaking about her loss, said: "She loved animals. She had a little dog called Archie she was obsessed with. There are so many photos of them together. My little nickname for her was birdy. She was so petite and little and when she ate she was like a little bird. She was quiet, she was somebody who didn't speak unless it needed saying. "But in the last 12 months she was coming out of her shell. She was gaining her confidence and she had a wide circle of friends. She was kind and caring and she seemed to connect with gay men and that was how she met the friend she went to Liverpool with." In the wake of Chloe's death, Liverpool Council conducted spot checks on the premises and on September 22, issued prohibition notices to Britannia Hotels regarding the safety of the wardrobes found in Chloe's room. The spot checks also discovered issues concerning the windows at the hotel. Although not legally required, where window restrictors are installed to prevent falls, they must be kept in good condition. Britannia contested the notices regarding the safety of wardrobes and the council agreed to withdraw them after seeing evidence that work had been undertaken to ensure their safety. The company withdrew its appeal against the notice regarding windows and that was affirmed.
