Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott romance confirmed with gushing tribute
Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott have been rumoured to be dating for several months and now the former One Direction singer has made their relationship official on social media
Louis Tomlinson confirmed his relationship with new flame Zara McDermott on Instagram this week. This comes a few months after Zara's break up from her boyfriend of five years, Sam Thompson, who is also reportedly dipping his toes back into the dating pool.
Sam and Zara began their romance in May 2019, with Sam revealing to OK! magazine that Zara made the first move. However, their relationship hit rocky waters early on when it was disclosed that Zara had cheated on Sam during The X Factor: Celebrity, leading to a temporary split.
Zara was captured pleading for Sam's forgiveness in viral Made In Chelsea scenes – initially, he declined but eventually chose to overlook Zara's infidelity and the couple got back together. After their reconciliation, the pair seemed stronger than ever, with Zara moving into Sam's luxurious Chelsea apartment, reports the Mirror.
They frequently created entertaining social media videos together along with TOWIE star Pete Wicks. Unfortunately, their love story came to an end in December as it was announced they had parted ways.
One Direction favourite Louis, 33, and the Love Island star, 28, ignited relationship speculation at the beginning of this year after they were spotted having dinner and spending the night together at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh, following reports of Zara's growing closeness with the singer's half-siblings.
The couple flew to the US together earlier this month, following a cosy dinner at a Suffolk hotel. During their trip, they posted identical photos from a Stereophonics concert, and Zara subtly hinted at their relationship by including Louis' arm in a breakfast photo.
Zara and Louis have yet to publicly confirm their relationship, but they've been spotted engaging in public displays of affection, including holding hands during their American outing.
Louis recently stirred up fan excitement by leaving a heartfelt comment on one of Zara's social media posts.
Zara posted a photo of herself editing her new documentary series, expressing increased confidence in front of the camera and her excitement for fans to see the final product. She captioned the post: "In the edit for my new series all about Thailand I'm so unbelievably excited about this one.
"I can't believe I've been making documentaries for 5 years now... every year that goes by I feel my confidence in front of the camera, in my producing (and in myself!!) growing so much.
"I feel really proud of this, of our amazing team for creating such a special series with so much depth to it, exploring some pretty serious topics but also capturing the fun too.
"I learnt SO much making this programme. I cannot wait @bbcthree (Thailand will be out later this year after my stalking documentary which will be out this summer)."
Louis promptly responded in the comments, writing: 'Proud of you x'. His comment has already garnered over 7,000 likes and more than 700 replies.
While neither Louis nor Zara have shared pictures together on their social media accounts, eagle-eyed fans have spotted their interactions through likes and comments on each other's posts.

The stunning influencer, originally from Galicia in northwest Spain, has almost 400,000 followers on Instagram and more than 320,000 on TikTok. Following the jigsaw identification of the photos, fans speculated over a possible romance between the pair. Another influencer, Javi De Hoyos, reported these claims were false after allegedly speaking to the footballer himself. He said "there is no relationship" between them and the trip had more than just them there. However, Fati - a graduate in flight attendance - took to social media to address sickening death threats she claims to have received in the days since the speculation came to light. I sold Lamine Yamal trading card for life changing amount - my wife doesn't think it's a silly hobby now She said: "It's sad to see people who have such darkness inside that they wish death on someone they don't even know. "What others project, speaks more about them than me. "I choose to live with the purpose of continuing to grow and surrounding myself with light. "To those who wish me ill, I wish them healing, because nobody who is well in themselves wishes the destruction of another." In his post on the matter, De Hoyos added: "Lamine would not have gone alone to this holiday place but with other Barça team-mates. "Fati probably does have something with another Barça person or is a friend of another team-mate." In the meantime, Yamal has headed to Italy to enjoy some well-earned downtime after a long campaign with Barcelona and the Spanish national team, which put him at the forefront of the Ballon d'Or race. 9 But Fati revealed she has received sickening death threats Credit: INSTAGRAM @fativazquezd 9 Another influencer has claimed Yamal told him there is no romantic relationship Credit: INSTAGRAM @fativazquezd 9 Yamal is now in Italy enjoying the off-season Credit: INSTAGRAM @lamineyamal

Young Thug's SP5DER steps in the Thai boxing ring for new collection
Young Thug's recent release to the free world creates an almost surreal backdrop to his clothing brand's latest drop. SP5DER, the American streetwear brand established in 2019 operating from Los Angeles with Atlanta roots, has always embodied freedom and controversy in both his personal narrative and fashion story arc. But today we're dissecting the fashion move that dropped just days ago. The new collection comes with a lookbook video titled 'CAMPERS THAILAND' positioned literally inside a Thai boxing ring. The visual surely hits hard: no studio gloss, no sanitised aesthetics, with Muay Thai fighters, skin inked in sacred sak yant tattoos, every line whispering stories of power and protection in sweaty gyms, battered pads, cracked tiles under bare feet – a move that inevitably can be read as either respectful contextualisation or calculated exoticism. The aesthetic punch is undeniable, though the cultural calculus is way murkier in today's climate where authenticity and appropriation exist in increasingly narrow margins. Many applause, many raised eyebrows. Beyond Thailand's fight culture, the lookbook also incorporated traditional Kayan neck coils and ceremonial elements heavily inspired by the heritage of Myanmar and the Karenni ethnic group. Given that in 2025 fashion moments demand transparency around cultural engagement, the operative questions are not aesthetic but operational. Did SP5DER establish partnerships with Thai culture and Southeast Asian community representatives? Are there revenue streams flowing back to the community whose heritage drives this campaign? These details separate cultural celebration from cultural extraction. SP5DER's approach either demonstrates how streetwear can engage respectfully with global traditions or becomes another case study in the fashion industry's cultural borrowing patterns. SP5DER's established success means the stakes are higher when they venture into cultural territory. Whether this represents genuine cultural bridge-building or another 'exotic' trend wave remains to be seen. It's not the lookbook's visuals under fire – those land incredibly fine. It's the business behind the campaign that's got people talking. The stakes go way beyond one brand's campaign. Fashion's relationship with non-Western cultures faces intensified scrutiny as heritage symbols increasingly become commercial assets. The brand inevitably forces the industry conversation: can fashion meaningfully celebrate diverse heritage within commercial frameworks, or does profit motive inevitably reduce cultural traditions to aesthetic trends?
