Jet2 says it ‘does not endorse' White House deportation video featuring viral Jess Glynne clip
Airline Jet2 has said it does not endorse a White House video promoting deportation that features a viral audio clip from its Jet2holiday advert. The hit song Hold My Hand, by Jess Glynne, features in the advert, and the singer said the social media post made her feel 'sick'. The video shows people being handcuffed and escorted on to a plane, alongside the caption: 'When ICE books you a one-way Jet2 holiday to deportation. Nothing beats it!' The caption makes reference to the accompanying voiceover, which says: 'Nothing beats a Jet2holiday, and right now you can save £50 per person…' A spokesperson for and Jet2holidays said: 'Our branding has become something of a viral phenomenon this summer and we are pleased to see how many people have used it in good humour. 'This has put a smile on many people's faces, just like our holidays do. We are of course aware of a post from the White House social media account. 'This is not endorsed by us in any way, and we are very disappointed to see our brand being used to promote government policy such as this.' The audio has become a meme in recent weeks and has been used in more than 1.9 million videos on TikTok. In a post to her Instagram story, Glynne, 35, said: 'This post honestly makes me feel sick. My music is about love, unity, and spreading positivity – never about division or hate.' Earlier this month, Glynne met voiceover star Zoe Lister on Capital Breakfast to recreate the advert live on the radio. Glynne told the station: 'It's mad because I feel like when I do my gigs, I feel like when I go to sing the hook, I feel like they're waiting for me to go 'nothing beats a Jet2 holiday'. It is tempting but I need to take this seriously, it can't be a joke.' The White House has posted memes to its social media pages before, including an image of Donald Trump 's face superimposed on to Superman alongside the caption: 'The symbol of hope. Truth. Justice. The American way. Superman Trump.'

Chiefs star Chris Jones makes emotional confession about his love life after messy split from ex-girlfriend
Chris Jones is on the hunt for love. That's if his recent confession about his love life is anything to go by. The Kansas City Chiefs star split from his girlfriend of nearly a decade earlier this year as she accused him of 'infidelity'. However, it appears Jones is now ready to settle down as he shared a shocking admission about his love life. During Chiefs training camp, the players were asked what was one thing on their bucket list that they haven't completed yet, and Jones's answer raised eyebrows. 'I just wanna be loved. I just wanna be married,' Jones said in a TikTok clip shared by the Chiefs' official account. His confession comes just four months after his former girlfriend accused him of cheating amid a seemingly messy split. Sheawna Weathersby, who has been pictured alongside Taylor Swift at several Kansas City games in recent seasons, was in a relationship with the three-time Super Bowl-winning defensive tackle for nine years before parting 'months ago,' she said in March. Earlier this weeks, fans began to speculate that Jones and Weathersby had split after he shared a loved-up photo with another mystery woman - only identified as Giselle - on his Instagram story before quickly deleting it. Giselle also posted a snap of her and Chris enjoying what looked like a romantic meal before removing the post. The pair both appear to have since deactivated their Instagram accounts. And amid confusion over the state of their relationship, Sheawna has confirmed she and the NFL player - who share two children in Christopher Jones II, six, and Carson Dakota, two - are no longer together after accusing him of cheating in an astonishing statement. She wrote on her Instagram story: 'I'm choosing to focus on the positive as I close this chapter on a 9-year relationship. Unfortunately, Chris' infidelity with the woman he's recently been pictured with, led to my decision to end our relationship months ago. Jones' ex went on to allege that the girl in question has a history of 'harassment, stalking and disrespect' towards her, even claiming she was forced to change her phone number as a result. 'I'm proud to say I chose to prioritize my own wellbeing and healing journey,' she added. 'As I embark on this new chapter, I'm excited for the opportunities and growth that await me. I trust that God will transform the pain into something beautiful.' Back in January, Jones suggested he and Weathersby were no longer together when he shared a meme on X that read: 'I'm like 106% single'. Jones and a mystery woman shared these loved-up photos in March before deleting them When a fan replied telling him he is not single, the 30-year-old bluntly replied: 'I am'. He also shared a cryptic meme on the social-media platform in March, which read: 'It's okay to disappear to find yourself again.' Jones wrote as the caption: 'Sincerely,' along with a snake emoji. Chris and Sheawna had formed a close relationship with his Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce and Swift, who has dated the latter for close to two years, before splitting in recent months. Travis and Taylor even sent the couple some surprise Christmas gifts at the end of last year. Sheawna took to Instagram to gush over multiple wrapped gifts under her Christmas tree along with a card that read 'Merry Christmas from Travis and Taylor.' They appeared to send Kelce's teammate and his partner a Santa gift bag and a rose-print wrapped box, as well as a rare Louis Vuitton 200 bottle of champagne bottled in Anchay, France. 'So blessed & grateful this holiday season,' Sheawna wrote as the caption. 'Thank youuuu, Tay Tay!!!' Sheawna has formed a close-knit friendship with Taylor, who has appeared on her Instagram account multiple times - including on November 29 when the Chiefs faced the Las Vegas Raiders and on October 8 during a match against the Minnesota Vikings.
