Butlin's is launching a massive summer sale for holidays in 2025 and 2026, offering discounts of up to 40%. The deals include Midweek Showtime breaks at Bognor Regis from just £69 in June, Summer Holidays featuring Stephen Mulhern with three-night stays from £352, and special Justin Fletcher Tots Breaks starting at £79 in September.
The Bognor Regis resort has recently undergone a makeover, with Butlin's going all out to ensure a memorable summer for its guests. The resort now boasts the company's largest-ever indoor Soft Play centre and a brand-new Puppet Theatre.
These new additions are already a hit with families across the country, with thousands more expected to visit during the school holidays. The expansive soft play centre covers over 3,000 square feet across four floors, accommodating up to 200 energetic youngsters at a time - double the capacity of the previous facility.

Access to the play area is included in the price of a family break and day passes. The Skyline Soft Play caters to children of all ages and is divided into three zones, each themed around the colourful characters of the popular Butlin's Skyline Gang.
Each character has their own dedicated section filled with slides, climbing challenges, log ramps, cargo nets and more, along with a spacious multi-sensory area for babies, reports the Mirror.

For parents needing a breather while the kids play, there's a cosy new 100-seat café area where they can unwind with a brew. This latest addition to the soft play centre follows hot on the heels of last year's opening of the £15 million PLAYXPERIENCE - a cutting-edge 50,000 square feet immersive gaming attraction.
The West Sussex resort has also introduced a charming Puppet Theatre alongside its soft play centre. This delightful venue will host engaging string puppet shows suitable for all ages, with new productions such as Under The Sea, Jingle in the Jungle, and Christmouse offering guests a sneak peek into the enchanting experiences lined up for this year.
In an effort to make holidays more budget-friendly, Butlin's is offering these puppet shows free of charge to guests on breaks and day visits. The entertainment team guarantees a memorable experience filled with captivating puppetry, amusing characters and plenty of excitement for younger visitors.
This £1.8 million investment is the latest in a series of exciting developments across Butlin's three seaside resorts. The £15 million indoor activity centre PLAYXPERIENCE at Bognor Regis boasts nine immersive gaming experiences, including laser tag, a VR games arcade, escape rooms, and more.
Additionally, a second £2.5 million SKYPARK has opened in Minehead, offering an inclusive and interactive playground for children of all abilities. Last year also saw a significant £12 million investment in new Premium Lodges at the Maple Walk village in Skegness, featuring 128 contemporary-designed lodges at the heart of the Lincolnshire resort.

39 nostalgic photos capture golden age of Butlin's holiday camps
These nostalgic photos capture half a century of fun at Butlin's holiday camps around the UK, from 1936 to 1985. From glamorous granny contests to square dancing, or simply relaxing by the pool, they show why the camps were so popular back then, pulling in punters from miles around. The first Butlin's in Skegness was officially opened on April 11, 1936, by the famous aviator Amy Johnson, the first woman to fly solo from England to Australia. A second camp followed in Clacton, Essex, in 1938, and construction of a third, in Filey, Yorkshire, got underway in 1939. At its peak in the late 60s, there were 10 Butlin's holiday camps, and the famous firm also ran a number of large hotels. The camps' popularity declined with the rise of cheap overseas holidays in the 1960s, but there are still three Butlin's sites, in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness. This retro photo gallery captures the golden age of Butlin's, from the 1930s to the 1960s. It also shows how, while they may have lost some of their sheen by then, the camps remained popular with many holidaymakers during the 1980s. Fairground rides, limbo competitions and sing-alongs are pictured, as are the famous monorails which opened at Skegness and Minehead in the 60s. You can see celebrity guests over the years too, from a royal visitor to F1 champions and a boxing star. These evocative photos also show families enjoying the boating lake, honeymooning couples relaxing beside the pool, and, of course, the famous Redcoats preparing for duty in their chalet. The pictures depict too how the camps were taken over by the armed forces during the Second World War, when troops could be seen preparing for action with signs advertising bikes and mechanical horses for hire in the background. The Butlin's story began when founder Billy Butlin visited Barry Island and felt sorry for families there staying in 'drab' guest houses with little to do. He set out to make seaside breaks affordable for all, creating a 'place of colour and happiness', with plenty of entertainment for visitors of all ages. Key to that were the famous Redcoats, the team of workers who looked after and entertained guests at Butlin's holiday camps. That role has proved a springboard to success for many stars of light entertainment, from Des O'Connor and Jimmy Tarbuck to Stephen Mulhern. These photos are sure to bring back memories of Butlin's for anyone who grew up during the 60s, 70s and 80s or earlier and was lucky enough to visit with their families. Many of them have probably continued the family tradition by treating their children or grandchildren to a day out or a week away at one of the remaining Butlin's resorts. Evening entertainment includes live shows, character appearances, and the new "Night at Reds" experience. She added: "I'll always have a soft spot for the previous softplay in the Skyline, where I could keep one eye on the stage and the other on the kids playing while enjoying a glass of wine and a show." Book it: A three night stay for a family of four at the resort between 15 - 18 August 2025 is from £443 - which is £36.92 per person per night. Camber Sands Holiday Park Camber Sands in East Sussex is always a popular coastal spot because of its long sandy beach and dunes. It's often described as being one of the best beaches in England by visitors - and was by Sun readers last year too. It's also got a great Parkdean holiday park that looks right over the beach. Other facilities include its four indoor pools and waterslides, splash park, as well as its climbing wall, Laser Quest and high ropes course. Book it: There's availability for seven nights between 25 August - 1 September 2025 in an Hartfield Caravan which sleeps eight. It costs £875 - which is £15.63 per person. The sea might be chilly, but it's a great place to dip your toes and build sandcastles. The Crimdon Dene Holiday Park has plenty of entertainment too from the adventure playground to the indoor heated pool. At the pool, kids can have a go on kayaks, inflatable jet skis and jump about on an inflatable course. For more adventures, you can hop in the car and drive to Hartlepool or Durham. It has a two-mile long beach with sands and lots of rock pools ready to be explored. The South Beach Cafe on Sandy Bay Beach at Haven's Devon Cliffs site as has been described by visitors has having the "feel of an Ibiza chill out bar." The cafe serves lots of seafood dishes and serves breakfast for anyone taking an early morning stroll. The other major attractions at the holiday park include the indoor water complex. Along with a swimming pool, there are also slides and flumes and new this year is their tube slides, where guests sit on inflatable rings. There is also an indoor soft play, outdoor NERF activity camps and 4x4 off roaders, outdoor pools, aerial adventures and nature trails. The Greenacres Holiday Park on Black Rock Sands with two-and-a-half miles of unspoilt beach - and there's a castle there too. From the park you can see Criccieth Castle to the left and Harlech Castle to the right. Other activities include inflatable bounce play, indoor swimming, cycling, archery and dodgeball sessions. Greenacres has plenty of entertainment which is hosted at the Marina Bar and stage. The beautiful spot in Devon is very popular with a big indoor pool, adventure playground, and climbing wall as well as on-site restaurants. One Sun writer visited with her family in July said: "We could hear the waves lapping the shore from our cottage — a literal stone's throw to the beach. "And when we visited Portugal just a few weeks later, I looked out at the coastline, from our accommodation, and realised it didn't look too different at all from that special view back at Ladram." Her other highlights included the "magnificent" indoor pool as well as free family playtimes and exercise classes. She enjoyed a fresh breakfast at the on-site Beach Shack cafe overlooking the sea. And there's even an on-site chippy called Coast Takeaway where you can collect your order and head to the beach. The holiday park is also loved by TV personality Josie Gibson. The This Morning star has been spotted in Ladram Bay multiple times, and even did a segment on paddleboarding there on This Morning. It's next to the Cudmore Grove National Park and has a private beach. The beach is just a few steps away but families can also enjoy the adventure playground, and the conservatory-style indoor pool lined with deck chairs. For the adults, there's a nearby local vineyard where you can sample wines and gins. Plus, the historic city of Colchester is only a short drive away. Book it: A five night stay at Mersea Island Holiday Park between 15-20 August 2025 in a Luxury Caravan that sleeps eight is £1017 - which works out at £25.43 per person. It also has a Parkdean Resorts which has "beautiful golden beaches, castles and country parks ready to explore." The positive feedback by holidaymakers has resulted in Nairn Lochloy being awarded the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award for 2025. From the caravans at Nairn Lochloy holiday park, you can be at the beach in just a few steps. If the summer heat gets too much, spend some time at the heated indoor pool that had a toddler's pool and sauna. There's an adventure playground, crazy golf course, amusement arcade as well as a restaurants and lounge bar. Book it: A four night stay between 25-29 August 2025 in the Skye Caravan that sleeps up to six people costs £292 - which is £12.17 per person. 19 Sandy Bay Holiday Park in Northumberland is right next to the beach Credit: supplied 19 Northumberland has miles of beach to explore Credit: Alamy Sandy Bay, Northumberland For incredible clifftop views with access to a beautiful sandy beach, head to Sandy Bay Holiday Park in Northumberland. From the holiday site, it's a very short walk down to the coast where there's lots of sand, sun, and rock pools - which makes for a very traditional seaside getaway. Around the park you can splash about in the heated indoor pool, run around on the adventure playground or have a game of basketball or netball on the multi-sports court. The beach destinations in Northumberland are some of the most popular in the country from Bamburgh to Alnmouth, and Embleton. You can get to all of these in a short car ride from Sandy Bay Holiday Park. Book it: Up to six people can stay in the Superior Caravan 2 Bedroom for seven nights from 22-29 August 2025 for £719 - which is £17.12 per person per night.
