Crown Prince Hands Saudi Cup Trophy to ‘Forever Young'
Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the Saudi Cup horse racing ceremony on Saturday evening at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh.
Upon his arrival, the Crown Prince was received by Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Equestrian Authority and the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia (JCSA) Prince Bandar bin Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, and Board Member of the JCSA and technical committees Chairman Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.
The royal anthem was played before the race began. Participating horses then moved from the saddling area to the parade ring, where all the competing jockeys were present.
Following the commencement of the ninth race for the Saudi Cup, the Crown Prince proceeded to the presentation podium and congratulated Susumu Fujita, the representative of the winning horse Forever Young, who lifted the Saudi Cup trophy.
The Crown Prince also extended his congratulations to the horse's trainer, Yoshito Yahagi, and jockey Ryusei Sakai, both of whom received a horse statuette and a jockey's helmet. Commemorative photos were taken to mark the occasion.
Several princes, ministers, and high-ranking officials from the Kingdom and abroad attended the event.

Saudi Arabia's Sports Boulevard to Showcase Transformative Urban Development at MIPIM 2025
Saudi Arabia's Sports Boulevard Foundation announced its participation in MIPIM 2025, the world's leading real estate investment event, taking place in Cannes, France from March 11 to 14. As part of the 'Invest Saudi' delegation, the foundation will present key investment opportunities and urban development insights, reinforcing Riyadh's evolution into a global hub for sports, wellness, and sustainable living. Sports Boulevard—one of Riyadh's mega-projects—is set to become the world's largest urban regeneration linear park, spanning more than 135 km across the capital. The project integrates cutting-edge sports infrastructure, vibrant public spaces, and sustainable mobility solutions, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030's goals of enhancing quality of life and economic diversification. The first phase of Sports Boulevard, opened in February 2025, includes five key destinations along an 83 km stretch, marking a significant milestone in the foundation's commitment to innovative urban development. Mitrovic scores in Al-Hilal's win after returning from injury
Aleksandar Mitrovic marked his return to action following a two-month injury layoff by scoring a late goal in Al-Hilal's 2-0 win at Al-Fayha in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.
