One of the biggest moves the Miami Hurricanes made this offseason was landing the Class of 2026 offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, who On3 Industry Rankings has as the No. 1 recruit in the nation.

Though it's clear head coach Mario Cristobal isn't looking to slow down, and on Friday, hosted several talented recruits, including defensive lineman Tyson Bacon, who was committed to the Tennessee Volunteers from Oct. 21, 2024, to April 23, 2025.
After his official visit with the Hurricanes, Bacon posted a photo of himself in a Hurricanes uniform on social media, captioning it "305?", which is the area code for Coral Gables.
The post went on to catch the attention of Cantwell, who reposted it, saying, "Make the move…"
Of course, it's not a huge surprise to see Cantwell trying his hand to help land the former Tennessee commit, as On3 Industry Rankings has Bacon as a three-star recruit, the No. 46 defensive lineman and the No. 442 player in the nation.

Last season, he put up solid numbers for Hoover High School, accumulating 33 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, 11 hurries and two pass deflections in 13 games played.
Miami isn't the only team competing for his commitment either, as Bacon has also had official visits with Georgia (May 17), Florida (May 30), with more scheduled with Michigan (June 13), Alabama (June 17) and Tennessee (June 20).

If Cantwell's recruiting skills do pay off, though, and Miami lands Bacon, he would be a big addition to their 2026 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 2 in the ACC and No. 8 in the nation, per On3.
